WANT to 7640 e - all - in - one printer: printer prints directly from scanning screen except on/off again.

It is a machine purchased in the last 6 weeks.  No problem of implementation.  It prints beautifully our computers/devices.  Initially all the printing (computers, screen and paper is inserted) worked perfectly.  Starting last week, twice when I tried to insert a page to print, the paper stuck, and I had to carefully remove under the rollers.  Then I tried to print a page directly from the hard screen - the printer 'stunned', as it was printing, but nothing appeared.  I pressed the 'X' to stop the operation, has opened the lid, removed the paper and the small round icon kept spinning, spinning, spinning.  I was unable to turn off the printer, (it would have not responded to efforts by pressing the 'power' button) called the hotline (contain a record 45 minutes and transferred twice).  A man extraordinarily annoyed-sounding told me that the problem was that we had plugged the printer on a "power strip".  So I unplugged the printer from the power strip and directly into the wall, turned on the printer and could not reproduce the problem.   During the week, twice, to get the printer to print from the screen, I had to turn the machine off and turn on again.  Today, I printed my computer successfully, then immediately tried to make a copy directly from the screen.  Same problem - had to press 'X' to stop the machine because the printer was not print, then had to turn off the entire printer / disable again seized printed the screen successfully.  I didn't call the helpline because I only have 45 minutes to lose :-)  Please let me know if I need to provide additional information, and I would appreciate any help that anyone can give me.  A whole new machine should not give these problems!  Thank you!

I would say that the question seems to be a hardware problem and suggest that you always contact the technical support for replacement of your printer options.

    I'm having the "HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2515 all-in-One Printer" for more than a year now.

    I was previously using Windows 7 Ultimate and there is no problem.

    I did a clean install of Windows 7 SP1 Ultimate and then installed the HP software.

    The printer function works perfectly.

    The only problem is that the software of the Scanner itself does not open.

    Measures taken to correct.

    (1) uninstalled the drivers and the HP printing software. Rebooted the system and did a clean installation of the printer software and drivers who stood on the site of HP.

    (2) Ran "HP print and Scan Doctor", it says "Windows (WIA) Scan Error".

    Don't know what that means. Please help to guide how to correctly do the work of the Scanner Software.

    I see you have some analytical problems after doing a clean install of Windows 7 SP1 Ultimate. I would like to help you today.

    The WIA drivers are part of the Windows operating system.

    My 120 want gives a message: error in the printer, turn printer off and on again.

    I downloaded and installed your software (AIO_CDB_2570_Full_Win_WW_130_141.msi) from the HP Web site - even received a "Welcome" message after installing on my laptop (HP Mini running Windows 7 with all updates).  But when Windows tries to configure the installation package, it fails... (Message: Please wait while Windows configures HP Photosmart Essential.)   ...  Time remaining 1 minute' - then it gets no further.)

    Center of HP solutions running on my HP Mini, the message is: "your HP Photosmart 2570 series is ready" and I can adjust the parameters of scanning on the 2575 of my laptop. -for laptop and 2575 are "talk" to each other...
    When I run printing HP and Scan Doctor 4.4, it found errors of Solution Center & Twain & tells me I need an update to fix the errors, but it sends me to the same place from where I have already downloaded the software updated!
    Windows7 does not recognize the newly installed software & more like another package: "HPPhotosmartEssentials.msi", which he says he can't find.

    Instruction was also found on the HP Web site: "Locate & install the .msi file is missing file in the Temp of your computer folder", but there is no msi file in the Temp folder (download goes to the downloads folder).

    Please response ASAP - I cannot USE MY PHOTOSMART2575 MORE scanning DOCUMENTS and have lost DAYS on this - making circles in the round...

    Sorry to say your advice has not solved my problem - but received a phone call the week last of Henry of HP at Gateshead (n. of England) support.

    After 4 hours or more (he missed his lunch...!) firmly on the phone and computer being "picked up" remote, it has removed HP all THE files on my computer (HP Mini) and then reloaded OLD original software for 2575 with updates,... Finally got all-in-one scan with the HP Mini success - so big thanks to Henry at Gateshead for his help there... :-)

    I printed a large amount of documents and all the some would get a straight line about 5 black lines down on the side of the paper and a little at the top of the next page. It is really weird and didn't print like this on the already printed pages earlier today. Any suggestions?

    I have updated my AiO Remote app on my iPhone and have since been unable to save the scan to my Google Reader. I don't know if it's something that I miss, or a feature that is no longer available. I use the app to analyze in the working documents, and being able to record directly into my Google Reader has been a great help. Is it possible to do it again? I can see my Google Drive documents when I clicked on the file tab, so I don't know that it is connected. I know that the feature was available in the previous version. I was able to record directly to my Google Reader, once I scanned the document. Now I am only able to send the document.

    Any help would be appreciated. I have played around with the application a bit and have seen no way to save this way, and I don't know why they would take this feature. He was very helpful and honestly one of the reasons why I chose to keep this app instead of scanning more traditionally from a computer.

Since I've updated the OS on my iMac (I am currently using OS X 10.6.8), I contacted Applecare because I thought that it was possible that my current operating system might have some incompatibilities with the C8180. 'Expert' AppleCare then accompanied me by a uninstall/reinstall, but it has not solved the problem. AppleCare said then that the problem is no doubt HP hardware failure. I find it quite peculiar since the scanner otherwise Applecare analysis works and there is no problem with respect it print or copy.

    Your C8180 can scan slides or films fixed on the memory card.  This will allow you to test the scanning equipment.
