Want to m6: battery

My work computer (my Boss) is a laptop HP Envy of m6 with 10 Windows installed.

Last week or so the progress bar in the battery symbol in the Notification area that happened slowly downwards and the flyout says it is charged as a percent. The other day it was 95% available plugged in, does not support. Then the other day, it's about 88% available plugged in, does not support.

Now today, it's up to 82% available, plugged in, does not support.

Many times I ran the test of battery for HP Support Assistant, and he says that the battery is ok.

What is going on? Is there a problem with another part of the system?

  • Portege M200 - How can I change the BIOS battery?

    Hallo,

I have a Portege M200 and I want to change the battery of the BIOS but I don't know where it is!

    Can someone help me?
    Thank you!

    Hello

The BIOS battery is placed on the motherboard and to exchange it, you must remove a large number of parts and screws. It's a little tricky and that's why you should have experience in laptop disassembly.

If you want a new battery of the BIOS, you must contact the nearest authorized service provider. Technicians can do for you.

But why do you want a new battery? The battery will also be charged if you have the AC/DC adapter connected.

    Good bye

    Hello

In my opinion if you want a new battery with a higher capacity, you must contact a service provider authorized in your country.

That s official Toshiba service partner and guys know a lot of laptops and options. They are always friendly and try to help you as best we can.
So, get in touch with the guys and asking for it. If 12cell batteries are available for your model, they can order it for you!

  • Satellite M100 - is a disabled firewire port saves battery power?

    Hey everybody

    I'm not so IEEE...
If I disable firewire in Device Manager it will stop it and it will help save the battery?

    Hi Dmitrij

I doubt that disabled firewire port will help to save the battery.
If you want to save battery power, you should check the options and settings of Toshiba Power Saver.

    Check the HowTO document
+ How to configure my computer for optimal use of battery? +
You can find it in the Forum s box HowTo.

If you are using Vista, then I recommend that you check the Vista power settings.
More details you will find in "HowTo" doc:

  • Mid-2015 MacBook Pro 15 has Horrible battery life

I have a Macbook Pro 15 mid-2015 is the basic model, 2.2 Ghz and 256 with no graphics other than the Pro of the Iris.  I got it for about 3 months and I take off the power once a weekish and use it around the House.  Whole reason I decided to go Apple was because I wanted to the battery life that windows machines cannot offer with that kind of power.

I must have got a spleen or something because my battery life is bad.  I lance 50% screen and backlight OFF and do nothing to keep open.  My Dock has nothing open except for the mail to notify me and my browser if I use it (98% of the time).  The battery life is maximum of 4-5 hours to do this constantly, the only time where I got was more a road trip where I turned the backlight and display off and using only iTunes to listen to music through my headphones via bluetooth, it provided for 20 + hours this day here.  Just get here for the last minutes went from 38 to 19 percent more than 31 minutes of battery time.  I know a decent amount about computers and I am a saver of energy mass unless I'm hip, low light, no backlight, no program didn't open that I do not use etc and yet I get a ridiculous autonomy.

What should I do? Any suggestions? I read somewhere on the power off and then when you power back up hold down Option + command + R to put something else inside the machine.

My battery life is normal for what I described?  It of not like I'm that fool who knows nothing about computers and leaves open pages, mail, messages, itunes, Skype and browser just because I can.  I leave nothing open (so no programs on the platform were the 'point' under them), erasing everything that isn't necessary VIA activity monitor, such things as creative cloud.  I'm just puzzled.  I must have got a dud.  Please help and advise me on what I should / test.

Running OS X El Capitan 10.11.3, but it's not just because of El Capitan, this has been like that since Yosemite when I bought first.

    Thank you

Your computer is still under warranty, so do the logical thing: make an appointment at the Apple Store - Genius Bar store and bring it into service. If you are in the United States or is unable to make an appointment in this way, contact your Apple store. Don't forget that you have free phone service for 90 days after purchase.

  • Satellite 1900 305 battery, need the pinout numbers

I wonder if anyone knows numbers pinout of the details of the connection of the battery from the battery used with the Satellite 1900 305

Mine has not been used for a few months and the battery is completely flat and is not supported.

I want to check battery volts and check that there volts at the terminals in the computer.

    Martin

    Hello

Unfortunately, there isn't any info on battery pin out. These documents are available only for the Toshiba ASP.

But the battery charging is controlled by a microprocessor to power supply which is mounted on the system board. Power of orders by microprocessor if the accusation is enabled or disabled and detects a full charge when the power adapter and the battery are connected to the computer. The system charges the battery in charging or trickle charge.
Normal load (power) 8 hours or more
Fast (power off) charge about 4 hours

    Fast battery charge:
When the adapter is attached, there are two types of fast charging: charging when the system's power off and normal load when the system is turned on.

However, if the following occurs, the battery charging process stops.

    1. the battery is fully charged.
    2. the power adaptor or the battery is removed.
    3. the output or battery voltage is abnormal.
    4. the temperature of the battery is abnormal.
    5. battery SMBus communication fails.
    6. the battery cell is bad.

In your case, it is possible to s that the batteries are dead, and you need a new battery.

  • Issue of Pro 6100 satellite about the RTC battery

    I know it's a huge topic which will be discussed on, and my Toshiba is screwed. I even did a lot of research and found it disappointing that my Toshiba may not be repairable, but I have a question;

When I boot my Toshiba, it looks good, and I can run normal programs (I get the error of bad RTC battery), but for some reason, the Toshiba randomly freezes and I have to stop it after 5 to 20 minutes to use me.

I tried to leave it on, as some other forum topics proposed to charge the bettery RTC and it went okay, then 20 minutes later, it froze and I had to reboot.

Sometimes it is not still turn just after that I have forcefully arrested, so I have to wait from hours to days so he can go back on. But it's useless cause it hangs again.

Any input on it's great and I'll take advice for this problem. I want the RTC battery but it keeps freezing on me, if I want to find a way to prevent this. Thank you!

PS: ASP Toshiba Theres two locations in my city (Markham, Ontario, Canada), so if all else fails, I'll take the laptop with my father at one of these places.

    Hello

If you want to reload the RTC battery you don t need boot up the laptop.
You can simply connect the AC adapter to the laptop and allow it to charge for a piece of 8 to 12 hours.

The freezing issue for me sounds like an overheating problem. This can happen because of the dust and debris inside the laptop. In such cases, cooling modules may not work correctly.
In case you I recommend first charging the RTC battery (don t need to turn on the device), then to clean the fans (you can use carefully vacuuming).
If the laptop freezes then you could try to reinstall the operating system.

If all of these tips n help so you should ask the ASP for the verification of the laptop.

  • Satellite A100-204: 1BAS 1BRS battery duration difference?

Someone looking for some batteries that would be consistent for my Toshiba Satellite A100-204 in an earlier topic

    He gave me
    PA3399U-2BRS (6cell)
    PA3399U-2BAS (6cell)
    PA3478U-1BRS (9cell)
    PA3478U-1BAS (9cell)
    PA3400U-1BRS (12cell)
    PA3400U-1BAS (12cell)

I want more large one so the 12cell is best I think. What I find weird, that's all I want, PA3400U-1BAS (12cell) has 12 hours, but PA3400U-1BRS only has 5-6 hours. Why is it, or is it wrong.

I want the larger battery and it is THERE I think, but I can only find the sites of the Australia, and they ship worldwide.
I need one that can send it to the Netherlands, and in fact I need within a week now: s

I thought that maybe it's because they count the hours for the portable real is to dethrone and on mine, it might be so different...

I found the compatible batteries on the Toshiba site Options & accessories.
However, I think that extending BRS or DOWN means the ability of the cells.
I guess that BRS is a standard battery and DOWN means that cells high capacity.

In addition, it should be possible to order that all batteries form the Toshiba service partner in your country.

  • Using a dummy battery in a 70 d EOS

My question is this: I'm a fictitious battery to plug into the camera so I can use an external source of the larger battery.  I also want to use a power adapter to power 7.5V to the camera but don't know how much current the device draws.  I need to know if I can get an adequate adapter to power the camera.  Any help is appreciated!

    Thank you!

Canon does an accessory called the "AC Adapter Kit ACK - E6' - that is exactlyl what you want (slipts in battery but allows the camera to operate on sector.)

Although the Canon site it lists as an accessory for $180, Department stores seem to sell for $120 (not always cheap.)

There are a LOT of fakes (several are $ 25 or less), but READ REVIEWS because I found the number of negative comments to be extremely high with many claiming that they either did not work at all, worked alone for a few minutes, or were very flakey (camera would lose power in the Middle session).

Therefore, I'm not sure I want to roll the dice on a knock-off.

I have a 60Da (a special version of the 60 d produced by Canon specifically for astrophotography) and astrophotography tends to eat through batteries very quickly due to sometimes very long exposure involved.  Therefore, Canon includes the ACK - E6 with the camera (so I am an owner but I didn't have to buy it separately).  The ACK - E6 works extremely well.

  • T430s compatible battery ultrabay FRU 42T 4679 (ASM 43R8890)

    Hi ~

I just bought a T430s. I want a ultrabay battery to prolong the time of outdoor work and I have a battery of 42T 4679 at home. I so want to try this one on my new laptop.

I asked an officer of lenovo by online chat to check the compatibility of the battery and my laptop. He told me that the battery wouldn't work. But when I put the battery, the system does not recognize. I go to the Lenovo Solution Center, he only told me that a communication error occurred...

So is it possible to fix this?

    Thank you ~.

Hi comiwolf and welcome to the Lenovo user community!

    No. a drumkit 42. The T430s takes a 43 battery.

I hope this helps to explain!

  • Dell Inspiron 5000 Series (is it ok to let trendy or not because the battery is intact and cannot be deleted)

    Hello

This dell inspiron 5000 series for use with batteries that can not be delete. Once its full do I have unplugged and just plugged in a time vacuum or simply leave it plugged? I want that its battery to last longer.

    Thank you ~!

don't know what type of battery you have. but, I spent time to research on my machine before you purchase it. and according to a bunch of Web sites, the most recent (not sure how much newer) lithium cell batteries have a much longer lifetime, unlike those of 4 or 5 years ago. and the Dell machines are made so you can leave plugged in as much as you want. because as soon as the battery is recharged, the battery is not circumvented, therefore no wear on them when it is plugged.

hope that it will be quite simple.
