  After that latest OS upgraded my Q10 connects to my Jaguar car phone and will make and receive calls, but the fact when the screen turns off the phone.  The car and Q10 shows connected, but they are not.  Free hand worked perfectly before the upgrade.

  Sorry, that I answered this yesterday, but maybe not clicked on "post".  I tried downloading but, being an older file, it did not work.  My Q10 was brand new but eBay seller in another country.  I ordered a new one from the same batch (which does not work on my car) and will block the upgrades.  My phone upgrade will be kept as a spare part.  Thank you once again to try to solve my problem.  I will now close this.

  Recently I seem to get a continuous "Connection" message to BBDTS. Have you tried the following:

  -the latest version of the BBDTS software.

  -restarted the pc (Win7x64)

  -restart the blackberry

  -tried a different usb port

  Nothing has worked. It seems that the blackberry connects to the pc OK

  Any ideas on how to get a connection established

  In addition, make sure you use only the root USB ports... without hubs (sometimes the front-end ports are hubs... use a rear USB port). And don't forget to try to disable the USB power management in the configuration of your system (Device Manager).

  Check also on the incompatible software... it was reported that NTI Shadow Ninja & software can cause a conflict; Remove and reinstall the desktop software BB allows to install correctly.

  My apologies in advance if this is redundant - there is no way to be sure that if you have already seen and tried these. Also apologies if all are not currently available... RIM takes their monte and descends at will as they revise things.

  Having said that, have you tried to reboot the device by removing the battery? You're on a Wifi or Mobile network? Try a good WiFi.

  Once the device is wiped to go through the installation process and connect to the wifi. Then open BBWorld and connect with your BBID. Go at this point and post back how it goes.

• Q10 Wi - fi BlackBerry

  Just bought Q10 and I cannot connect to my network home wi - fi.  After that I put in place, tt associated network and then attempts to authenticate, but I get an error message... "authentication timed out.  Please check your password and try again."  No problem with any other device (including the BB Curve 9330) access to the network using the same settings.

  One thing to try is to connect to an open WiFi network invoice Starbucks hotspot. It's just to rule out the possibility of total failure of WiFi on your Q10 any. If you can connect at Starbucks, at least you know that WiFi works.

  Open settings > network connections > WiFi, then go to saved networks (the icon that looks like a page of a book with a checkmark on it) and check if your home network is displayed. If it says "Save - Disabled", you can click it and enable the connection. You can choose to connect after having turned it on in order to get activation to save.

  If that fixed then it should look at what kind of security do you use on your router. Ironically, BlackBerrys can not handle some of the more advanced security protocols. I am not sure, but I think that WEP and WPA are supported but WPA - 2 is not. It is a shit, but you may need to downgrade the security of your router for WiFi protocol.
