Watlow ez-zone-RM

I'm a newbie to this and need help! I have an ez-zone-rm (in fact many of them) attached to the heater ribbon, and I need to control all at the same time. I have a sample program for them, but it only controls a zone and one instance at a time. Is there a way to schedule some kind of loop to change the settings in addition to an instance and area all at once?

Thank you!

Yes.

Essentially, you need to change the controls on the front at the berries so that you can set the settings based on box/instance. I suggest to use a table that has 3 columns: area, instance, parameter. If set to 'write' is supposed to be different then you can do a 4th column. As is 'Write', you can autoindex the table to take off at each row and then get the individual values. Same thing for reading.

To learn more about LabVIEW, it is recommended that you go through the tutorials and look over the material in tutorials the NI Developer Zone Learning Center , which provides links to other materials and other. You can also take a course online for free.

  • How to Set Digital i/o status of Watlow EZ - Zone RM on 'ON' in LabVIEW?

I have an EZ - box RM Watlow controller and here is the driver:

    http://www.Watlow.com/downloads/en/software/Watlow%20EZ-zone (R)%20LabView%20Driver%20a.zip

I have 16 e / s digital connected to the CRDD and I need to use to trigger the SSR.

    so here's my question

How to Set Digital i/o status of Watlow EZ - Zone RM on 'ON' in LabVIEW?

What ID setting should I use to replace the OFF state (62) (63)?

First I thought that I can write "63" in the ID parameter "6007", and it does not work because it is a read only parameter. Is it supposed to be a way I can just simple it switched off to change on?

Thank you for answering my question.

The OID cannot be set directly. First a block Variable must be digital and connected to the block of DIO mode. Then changing the numeric status can be changed (63) to off (62).

  • Watlow EZ-Zone PM ENET RS-485

I can't talk to controllers Watlow EZ - Zone PM with labview.

I can't get the RS-485 ENET to appear in MAX I discovered it's because 64-bit windows? However I can talk to the RS-485 ENET using VISA resource name: ASRL::xxx.xxx .xxx. xx::1:INSTR where xxx.xxx.xxx.xx is the IP address of the RS-485 ENET.

I also tried to use the Watlow driver but if I put the name of resource above in to the Port of Comms PC in the example provided with the driver and try to initialize the port, I get the following error:

Error 1 has occurred at an unidentified place

    Possible reasons:

LabVIEW: an input parameter is not valid. For example if the input is a path, the path can contain a character not allowed by the operating system such as? or @.

NOR-488: command requires GPIB controller charge controller.

I guess that's because the ASRL::xxx.xxx .xxx. xx::1:INSTR is not a valid entry for the Watlow driver.

  • Including a carriage return when you write in a single register using Modbus

I use a NI USB to RS - 232 to connect with a Watlow EZ-Zone PM controller using Modbus Protocol and will have bad to write a value (set temperature) to the controller.  I got when reading registry values, so I know that my settings are correct.  I also checked this using a program of Test of Modbus Watlow provides.  Using this program, it became clear to me that a carriage return is necessary after the numeric value.  MB series query writing Master only allows a value of U16.  How can I include a carriage return?

A statement like that makes me think that she's not speaking modbus.

Run their program during execution of something like Portmon.

Then compare the data sent back with the modbus specification.

  • Watlow series VI EZ box causes GUI Lag?

I am having a frustrating with my screws problem I think I have narrowed down to a driver of the Sub - VI. "Read" sub-VI/dll for Zone EZ Watlow controllers seems to provoke my GUI LabVIEW to slow down and trolling. For example, if this Subvi runs and I'm going to go one of the main LabVIEW drop-down menus (file, publishing, display, etc.), they accuse to pull down and switch between them. The LAG covers other GUI operations (clicks, seizure of text, etc.). Any ideas? I've attached screenshots of two screws. I also use an FTDI USB-rs485 with VCP drivers adapter. I tried affecting the performance of the two screws instrument I/O but doesn't seem to help.

    Thank you
    Joe

    Thank you, Ryan.

I did just fixed this morning by myself. If he was a "call library function node" which was left by the seller in mode 'run in the UI thread', instead of 'run in any thread '.

    Much better now.

  • How to use the shared variables to address several Watlow controllers on the same COM port

    Hello

I am using LabVIEW 2010 to control 4 Watlow temperature controllers on a port com 3 are model 96 and 1 is a zone EZ controller. The controller has a unique modbus address and I'm trying to read from and write in the individual records (for example, setpoint closed-loop) variable shared help. I would return the data during playback (even if the data is displayed as invalid), but I am unable to change the value in the registry in writing. How can I be sure that's the Modbus server send commands to the correct controller?

    Chuck

    Hi Chuck,

Sorry for the delay in response, I was away last week. You can create as many servers for Modbus on one COM port that you would like, the only problem you'd see is if you tried to call the port from different locations at the same time. With respect to the documentation to cross, I'd start with the tutorial below for a comprehensive manual of Modbus. There are also quite a few listed under Datalogging and supervisory control Module help topics that may be useful if you want to solve specific issues.

    Introduction to MODBUS

    Kind regards

  • Parental control for iphone zone

I have parental controls on my iphones of teenagers. I can also set the AT & T data time limits. Adolescents simply change the time zone of the iphone so they can walk using data when they aren't supposed to.

How can I prevent adolescents to change the time zone on their phones?

    Soccer Mom

You can not. The time zone on the phone setting should not have anything to do with AT & T cellular data limits. Those based on time on the cell towers. Contact AT & T

Or just take the phone away from them if they can't be trusted to follow the rules.

  • Why is the capital of Australia, Canberra, are not not as an option of zone in Thunderbird.

I was a complete new section calendar of Thunderbird options & when I looked for Canberra in the part of zone he wasn't there. You have listed all the State capitals and even a few small towns, but not the capital of a continent. I've been very happy user of Firefox and Thunderbird since my first computer in 2004. Keep up the good work Paul...

Since when a Canberra had its own time zone? If it makes feel you better there is no America/Washington DC is for the same reason...

DST standard and Eastern East is what Canberra uses. Then Sydney. is the city for time zone information.

  • Cannot set the manual time zone on ipad

IOS is updated. I'm try cnange my time zone manually. Whenever I select a city in new Madrid for example, the time zone remains as Sydney. I am unable to change it. Auto zone has been disabled because it acknowledges that Sydney. Looked far from a solution, but nobody else seems to have this problem.

I think that 'set automatically' refers to the time, not the time zone. Apple devices are quite picky about having the correct time zone for the location, then you will not be able to change it.

  • I use thunderbird in the New Zealand House and time zone settings, and when I invite people NZ for a new event it automatically creates a calendar for UTC entry

I bought my computer laptop to the United Kingdom and installed Thunderbird there initially, but remains in NZ and reset home location and time zone accordingly. However, when I send invites to an event it resets the invite calendar for the recipient to UTC/GMT. My record of entry and invite calendar still shows what I entered in, but not their end. And it's the same thing in reverse, they send me something for 15:00, I get like 03:00.

... to restore the original location and time zone accordingly.

Where exactly did you do that?

  • A previous version of Firefox killed Zone Alarm - this problem has been corrected?

During installation, the previous version of Firefox update, it showed a box on the screen saying that he had found a file mismatch in the ultimate security alarm Zone and has been deleted. Without more explanation - and no way for me to say 'yes' or 'no '. Of course, the ZA Panel showed that I was not protected. Unacceptable. Went to IE, with the MS Firewall and anti virus, crossed my fingers, toes, eyes, etc. and are back online. Finally managed to download Zone Alarm - took a big piece of my Verizon monthly data allowance. Switched to Chrome, it plays well with ZA but I use Firefox instead. So - this fester has been fixed. It is safe to return to Firefox? May 23, 2014

Firefox does not disable the separate applications such as firewall and antivirus. Yes, we know that Zone Alarm itself is not an add-on for Firefox.

The message said that the Zone Alarm associated Extension that you had at the time was not compatible with this version of Firefox, you got in time. Separate Zone Alarm should have been still very well.

It is also not the work of the Firefox browser to be made compatible with the thousand of Extensions out there, but reverse.
