"We could not all updates. Undo changes. Do not turn off your computer. "Stuck on this screen. UGH.
I am extremely frustrated.
I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite laptop. It works fine, until today. My computer tried to update and in the process, failed. I wait now more than 4 hours on the same screen. Pressing F8 does nothing. I tried to restart. I can not open troubleshooting because the computer is stuck on the same screen. The circle to show that it is loading is always in motion and my mouse moves as well. I called MIcrosoft support and they told me to reboot and wait. It is, I already did, but they told me to do it again. I have some files I have would be broken lose. Help, please.
Hello
If you don't mind not to lose your files, turn the system off.
Turn off the computer. The next step, you will hear a shrill signal strong. Be prepared.
Press 0 (zero) key and power up the computer
Key 0 (zero) when the recovery warning screen
Press the F12 key during the appearance of the Toshiba logo
You should then see the Start Menu
Using the up/down arrow keys, select > HDD Recovery > press Enter
If offered a selection of Windows 32 or 64-bit, be sure that you select the correct operating system
You should be able to create a recovery media. Once you have installed Windows, click Search > Type recovery
You should see an option to create your own recovery discs
If this isn't the case, I suggest that order you them from Toshiba.

Greetings,
I installed updates in my Windows 8.1 partition. Then he asked me to restart the computer, and the message "we could not finish updates, exchange loss, do not turn off your computer" appeared and was on-screen for hours. I thought to reinstall bootcamp but I have software in the Windows partition that cannot be recovered. I read that one of them starts Windows in 'Safe' Mode, but this is not possible. I use a MacBook Pro (retina, 13 inches, early 2015) OS X 10.10.5
How can I fix this without wiping the Windows partition and lose my software?
Thank you!
Have you created a Windows system restore point before the upgrade?

Error "FAILED TO CONFIGURE UPDATES of SYSYTEM REVENANT of CHANGES DO NOT turn OFF YOUR COMPUTER"
Respected by all,
Could someone help me please with the problem. I can't access the windows at all. It has blue screen that says "FAILURE TO CONFIGURE updates SYSYTEM RESTORE CHANGES updated DO NOT turn OFF YOUR COMPUTER" pls help
You may need to stay on this screen for not more than one hour, if there are serious problems with Windows Update.
If you can always access your PC after waiting, turn off your PC. Then turn it on, immediately pressing F8 constantly. Once you get a black screen with options, select Safe Mode with the arrow keys and press enter on your keyboard.
Once Windows finishes loading of files, you can start in safe mode, where you should be able to log on normally. You will notice that the screen resolution has changed, and when you log in, you will see a black desktop computer. This lets you know that you are using safe mode. Once you log on, restart normally.

OT: Windows Update failure 8.
I recently re-installed Windows 8 using an old product key once I updated my PC using Windows 7 due to failure to boot Windows Technical Preview. The installation went smoothly, but when installation is finished, he told me that I had installed updates, for the most updated security. I installed them and restarting my PC, he has said configuration Windows Updates... Do not turn off your computer. It is immediately followed by updates default Windows configuration . Restoration of the changes. Do not turn off your computer. It accomplishes this task for like 10-15 minutes and then finally starts. Once my PC starts, this cycle starts again. So far, happened 4 times.
Could someone please fix this? I want to update to Windows 8.1, but could end up, I'm stuck with Windows 8. (Also, why download from the store disappeared? "I'm not using a RT system).
Thank you!

Problem:
- Computer: Lenovo N580
- Windows 8
- Reset my computer to factory reset
- All my files uploaded to the computer
- Launched about 120 windows updates
- Now, the computer is stuck on the blue screen with the message that seems to never go "failed windows update Setup. returning from changes. do not turn off your computer"I can't access the login screen or any screen to disable the windows update.
- I tried the solutions posted by other users with the same problem but without success.
- Please help me with a solution where I don't have a factory reset because I don't have another copy of all my files!
- Also, is there a way to access a safe mode on Windows 8? I tried F8 or SHIFT + F8 after starting, but nothing happens. I read a post online where Windows 8 have removed this feature. Is there another way?
- Help, please! I AM ETERNALLY GRATEFUL!
- THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Hello
I get this error "failed to configure windows updates. returning from changes. do not turn off your computer. The computer is a Samsung Ativ tab 5 and I got it for a little over a week.I have updated with the SW updateThe results of the troubleshooting online are:Problems encountered:Recent updates - not fixed installation problemsSearch for missing or corrupted - files detectedSome security settings are missing or have been modified - fixedRegistration for the service is missing or corrupt - fixedWindows Update error 0 x 80070490 (2014-02-10-t-11_25_11A) - fixedI have been through ALL the steps as described in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949358. I have had no success. One thing that bothers me, is in the configuration of the system, I have a service called true vector Internet Monitor (Zone Alarm) and when the value disable as in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135, it is the only service still running when you perform a clean restart. I don't know if this affects the Automatic Updates/configuration or not.Hello
Thanks for trying to help. Now my computer seems to be up-to-date.I followed your steps but MicrosoftFixit50202.msi did not like "my OS is incompatible. I use windows 8. I couldn't run this in default or aggressive.I did go in Control Panel and disable antivirus and firewall Zone Alarm and reset Windows defender by default.I did IE default web browser I have prob changed when I got to the computer.I then returned to set up a clean boot and this time I managed to disable the true vector Internet Monitor (Zone Alarm) to run.I ran the reset troubleshooting of Windows with the same result as before is to say:Recent updates - not fixed installation problemsSearch for missing or corrupted - files detectedI think I have restarted my computer at this stage and then tried to update again. It has not yet, but with the error, I got an error code and a link to help. I don't have not noticed this before. I followed the help and ran about 5 command prompts that have to do with the renaming of files I think. Then I tried updating again and this time 38 45 updates succeeded. I then ran the update again and it seemed to work on the other 7 updates.Although Windows Update said I was now updated, I was skeptical as when this whole thing started is started when I got the "windows installs updates" and then "failed to configure updates. Returning... etc"then I restarted my computer. At the start, there was no message on try to configure the updates, then, how do I know they are configured and working as it should?Thank you. -
Hi, I just refreshed my laptop that I got a few drops FPS at random. Initially, it worked fine, but after a while before instaled Norton started to cause me problems. At this time I uninstalled it and when he asked me to computer restatr now, I did. Now I'm stuck with this message window loading. Restart the computer from time to time, but the message is always the same: failure of configuration of Windows updates. Restoration of the changes. Do not turn off your computer.
Computer: hp pavilion n006sm
Operating system: win 8 pre-installed
At the moment I'm stuck on this window for over an hour and nothing has changedSeems that problem solved by itself. As I correctly uninstalled Norton, I just put my automatic updates and restarted my laptop again. He installed the updates with no problem and its working fine. Seems that Norton was really the problem, will keep you informed.

my laptop is s200e asus PC with the built in language unique window 8.
My problem is when I wan upgrade to 8.1 of the shop window, it say I need to update the update of the window.
but the problem occurs when I updated, and then "failure of Windows updates. Restoration of the changes. Do not turn off your computer. »
but the return is seem endless, coz I wait for a whole day... .but it will be not just finish.
I can do nothing but reset it back to the factory.
I can't update 8.1 store window without updating the window.
You do not add features to upgrade 8 > 8.1
That's the Pro and Media Center that do not need another product key and that are no longer available.
And the creation of media for 8.1 works; I just checked it a minute ago.
See you soon.
