  • Will my iphone 6 bought a piece of apple in New Zealand store?  I have a contract with Verizon.

I received different answers to this question.  Some say that I'll be able to use it as long as I haven't bought the phone from Verizon.

All compatible with Verizon LTE phones are GSM unlocked bit wherever they are sold. It should work fine on any compatible network.

  • Travel in Australia and New Zealand

We will travel in Australia and New Zealand later this year. In the meantime, we need there to be able to call us as we strive to rent wheelchair accessible vans, etc.. I have Skype, my girlfriend and MOM.

When we are there, we want to be able to call using our cell phones. We all have the application installed.

Can we have more than one number to our account? If two numbers of Skype. And what is the best way to call each other? I have a gift membership for the unlimited and everyone has the 60 free minutes provided with office 365.

    Jake

@Jake what country are you living in?

You can have several numbers in different countries on your Skype account, you can buy numbers Australian & NZ now so that the people of rental can you contact at a local rate or check if the companies there are on Skype free Skype-to-Skype calls.

Unlock all your cell phones before going so that you can pick up some local SIMs in Aus & NZ. Also check your current suppliers of the cell would charge you for roaming prices in Aus and New Zealand, including data charges, more that likely would be very unattractive.

Discover the 3 network, which have their feeling home price in Aus and NZ. This would allow you to buy a package of mobile data to your Skype, plus a package of minutes for local numbers as well as the local GSM numbers that you would have with the SIM card. Communicate with them via Skype or your Sim by distribution of local numbers.

Also use Skype WiFi when available and add little credit to accounts that have only 60 minutes to call where they go over the allocation or want to buy another package in the short term to add to their 60 minutes.

There is no single solution, but some research on Skype, unlock your phones and get pay-as-you-go local SIMs will save you a lot of money. Take a look at recommendations for communications on travel websites too. The video below is a good starting point.

  • Cost of the iPhone 5 in New Zealand in 2013?

    Community salvation.

A bit of a query of left field here...

I recently broke the screen on my iPhone 5 all in o/s. I'm talking about coverage with my insurance company who want to know the purchase price. I cannot access my account (physical Bank - not in the country - or online stores - banks changed recently), so looking for the retail price of an iPhone 5 (September 2013) of the New Zealand. Apple customer service doesn't help me here because my warranty and Applecare expired.

    Thanks in advance

    Matthew

Price list of the 5 in October, so I would say in September 5 would have been these prices?

  • Where is the option easy to choose between searching the web or pages of... (New Zealand)?

    Hello
I have been using Mozilla Firefox years (currently Firefox 17.0.1), but lately the convenient option (sidebar) to search the web or the New Zealand pages disappeared.

I can click on 'Search tools' - 'the web' - 'Pages of the New Zealand' (and do the same again when I want to perform an Internet search), however, it is certainly not easy to use.

Is there a way to get back one click the option to choose between the web search or local search?

    Thank you!

I believe you have just made available update that Google is starting to roll out last month: http://insidesearch.blogspot.com.au/2012/11/spiffing-up-your-search-results-page.html

People have published methods to return to the page layout, which mostly involve some of the style rules Google replace with new (old). For example (I have not tried myself):

  • Playing discs blu - ray in New Zealand

I burned a blu - ray disc and sent to the members of the family in New Zealand. Who can't play TI-no is not recognized. They have a blue-ray player. I understand that Blu - ray is not NTSC or PAL, but there are regional restrictions. What region incorporates the FCP? I can change it to 0 or all regions.  Hello I have this. What other reasons could be?  Thanks for your suggestions!     Burned us spec Blu - ray without problems.  Chris

Mac Pro 2010 14 GB using memory

    10.11.4 OS

    FCP 10.2.3

    BD-RW BDR 207 pioneer burner

I can't answer some of your questions, but...

To burn a project to the Blu - ray format in the 'Share' Option, I select... "Master File" (not Blu - ray), which produces a .mov file. This is the .mov file what can I import into my Samsung BD burner for treatment.

Hope this helps, but not sure!

  • By using the Tecra M750 in New Zealand and the United Kingdom suppliers for a SIM card?

I go to New Zealand for a few weeks and then of the United Kingdom to 4. I have a Tecra M750 with built in 3G that works on Optus in Australia. I don't want to pay their stupid "mega-roaming charges" If you want to get prepaid SIM for local use. Anyone know which vendors that I use in NZ or UK? Thank you

    Hello

In my opinion, you must choose a local mobile provider if you n t want to pay a tax of roaming
Sorry I m not from New Zealand and so I do not know which provider would be the best

But you should google a bit I'm sure you will find some useful information

    Welcome them

With Skype hiding behind a Web site and that it is IMPOSSIBLE to talk to a real person in Skype, how the hell did you supposed to report this type of malfunction?

If you have a number 022, not worn (021 or 027) it should work. Skype will pass these texts on their local support and if that carrier does not update the transfer papers he is sent to the original supplier... and then dropped.

  • @Lenovo: X121e AMD CPU: where to buy in New Zealand?

    Hey guys,.

I really want to get your hands on a X121e with processor AMD E - 350 w/o OS here in New Zealand.

But I can not find in google or @ lenovo in the online-shop of )

    Are there opportunities?

    Thank you

    Soko

The X121e with AMD processor is not available in Oz or NZ right now (don't know if it would be released in the future).

In Australia and New Zealand, you can only get the Intel CPU version.

If you are really desperate for this machine, then I suggest that you look on sites like ebay. In addition, the X120e have this CPU option, so you can find many of these machines.

  • Data recovery using Microsoft Money Standard bought in New Zealand

I use Microsoft Money Standard bought in New Zealand.

As a result of a malfunction of the hard drive, I installed a new and recovered all my data files.
I reinstalled Microsoft Money, but Money files will not open.
A message informs you that the file cannot be located or is read-only, I don't have the permission to open or it is write protected. None of this is true then I suspect it has something to do with Microsoft withdraws this product.
I can see there are no version sunset for my version, so how I can I recover my data for use in Microsoft Money or importing to another product I need of course to buy at one time?

    Yay! Success.

It's hotfix QFE, whatever they are, that became a problem when Microsoft has ceased to produce and support money.
Users of the United States had a "Sunset Version" to allow them to continue to use the program, but international users have been left in the cold.
Finally, Microsoft provided a download to help users with the UK or International English. Why they did not consider their international users from the very beginning, God alone knows that!
For the Version of Money 2005 - published July 28, 2011
For users of the International English Version of Money 2005 - published July 29, 2011
I have downloaded and run the NASB and my Money file open immediately. Great!
Now, I just need to look at what it takes to pass when I decide it is time to move from Microsoft Money.
