web pages Monitor

How to track the web pages that my child uses when I am with Microsoft family safety?

The most effective way is the direct supervision.  Don't allow them to use the PC in complete privacy.

http://www.canadiantech.info/sample-page-2/keep-your-computer-secure/youngsters-teenagers-and-safety/

Young people, teenagers and security

Security, adolescents and young people. Parents, do you a favor. Don't allow the use of a computer by them in private places. Best place to put a desktop computer they are using is in the kitchen or the living room. Laptops for them is especially risky. The Internet is a wonderful and beautiful place, but it has risks. Children and adolescents are not necessarily equipped to assess the dangers. They can get themselves in a lot of trouble. Supervise the use of the Internet.

I highly recommend allowing the passwords on those computers.

  • Scrolling Web page very slow on the second monitor

    I have two monitors. When I move the window of firefox for the second monitor - scrolling of web pages is very slow. Sometimes he computer freeze (I can't move the mouse cursor).
    I checked the other applications such as MS Word, Chrome.
    This problem is only firefox problem.

    This problem apears when the part of the firefox window shows on the second monitor (or even 50 pixels)

    Hey, I had the same problem and I solved it:
    1. - in the Firefox menu, display the Tools/Options.
    2. - unselect the checkbox "use hardware acceleration when available.
    This should work better now. Apparently the hardware acceleration makes the problems only when the windows of Firefox appears in a non-primary screen (don't know why). I suppose you know, but if you want to change your primary monitor you can do it from settings (right click on the desktop, then properties).
    Good luck!

  • Web pages are not as wide as my monitor 17 ". There is space on both sides. The Explorer does not. Zoom does not help. Is there a solution?

    I installed firefox I heard that it's better than exployer. The problem is that Web pages are not as wide as my screen. They reach from top to bottom, but not on either side. I look at the same pages on exployer and they are "full screen". The zoom does larger fonts. It does not fit on the screen. I hope there is a fix.

    It's windows 7.

    You can use an extension to set a page zoom and the size of the default font on web pages:

  • How can I get the status bar on my web page

    I want to get the status bar at the bottom of the web page so that I can slide from left to right, if an article is too large for my monitor. I got it this morning 05/01/15. After Thunderbird as an option for my email, the bar disappeared after uninstalling Thunderbird. I know hovering on the web pages I have on my menu bar, but I'd rather have the bar all at the bottom of the page.

    The gray bar appears in my email only. I would like to have it on all my sites.

    Thank you.

    I guess what you mean in the bar of horizontal scrolling if you want to be able to scroll horizontally.
    Firefox will normally only show the bar if content extends outside the browser window.

    You can have zoomed pages by accident.
    Reset the zoom of page on pages that are causing problems.

    • View > Zoom > reset (Ctrl / command + 0 (zero))
  • Toolbar fonts too small web pages way too big

    Upgrade to FF23 I'm afraid hate FF since 18 but did not have the choice for my safety. Police on the toolbar is 6px and Web pages are about 300% of what is normal in looking at the other pages. I know I know I've heard of going to the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx in: config, but it only serves to reduce the font size in the toolbar about 2px. I have my settings on my machine, 113% font size value adjust but change the default setting of layout.css.devPixelsPerPx does nothing but make webpages enlarged 300% and the size of font on the almost correct toolbar.

    I already have enough addons and why should I have to add two others just to see a Web page to his regular size of design. An image to 55x55px which is 43x43px. Accurate Web pages look quite normal in all other browsers. So despite my support for the projects of FF, I guess I'll leave users are not considered to be valid.

    Well, I played a bit with everything from reset all default 23 FF: config. Then I increased my screen resolution 1920 x 1080 - not quite the greatest. Then I changed my dpi custom 138%. Then on pages that I was struggling to see, I simply lowered the level of zoom (ctrl) - about 85% and set as the default value for pages only.

    Quite a pain because I had to find the setting that would work for all my stuff and in programs, I use all the time. After all this... my eyes got really bad have to fight to see, that I resorted to my high contrast for visually impaired to complete the configuration of this. When I have trouble (strabismus) it causes an inflammation of the optic nerve that severely limits my eyes and cause me to be hypersensitive to anything that includes the light! TV, monitor, mobile phone screen, etc.

    I didn't re - install non-strabisme that it was a major concern when I have several tabs open and that they would all have different settings and if I deleted my cache, I have to start all over again with these parameters. This way I don't have an other snap to care.

    So if anyone else has this problem, try the steps I used. Fortunately, I have a 27 "screen in order to increase the resolution of the screen had plenty of room to play with, because I was only at about 64% before to make things big enough for me to see, but still be able to watch my HD movies on my big screen!

    If someone wants to ask me how I did this or where I got the thing, I'll be happy to try to guide you.

    Don't use not FF a break my heart! (Not to mention how long it took me to do anything in a familiar setting!) Now, I will close my eyes for about 12 hours and I hope I can get my stuff has again when he looked better than all the black and cream! The color that I get is with links, so I chose two pastel colors preferred to give at least a little spicy things!

  • How can I set the zoom of the screen, so that it does not change everytime I open Firefox. Because I see Web pages in smaller characters, and I want the biggest, without having to re-enter zoom everytime I open Firefox.

    I need to know how to set the zoom tab 'View' option, shere I cannot re zoom everytime I open Firefox. I have a wide screen monitor and generally, when you view Web pages, web content on any page is confined to the center of the page, and I was wondering if there was anyway to set preferences to zoom on a permanent basis without having to change them whenever I open a Web page.

    IE 8 and 9 has a function to set the magnification, and I put mine at 150%, which works perfectly for me. I wonder if Firefox has a similar function.

    There are some add-ons that can be used to change the zoom level on all sites, for example:

  • Pavilion 22bw is black and white when you watch the video on web page

    I recently bought an HP 22bw monitor.

    I am connected to a desktop HP Pavillion with a DVI, HDMI video connection, no. My resolution is 1920 x 1080.

    My problem is whenever I want to watch a YouTube video on a web page or a web page has an inserted in video as upper right of Sportsillustrated web page the monitor goes black and white. The only way he'll be back, if I move the mouse, which he corrects only for a few seconds and then goes back to white/black.

  • WMP110v2 network connection, but do not open web pages

    I have a Dell 2 GB of Ram and XP PC with the latest service packs and updates. No apparent reason, I had a little difficulty with the installation but after only two tests, but I the WMP110 to properly install and connect to my wireless connection. I use a D - Link Wireless Router N DIR-615 and my other wireless devices are running smooth.

    My problem is that my wireless connection will not go to the internet and I tried to use the Linksys monitor, but also Windows network utilities to check the problem and run the wireless but not connect me. The Web page tries to load, but then ends with the screen 'diagnose connection '.

    I think it will be easy but don't have yet to see a post explaining this problem and I don't know what to try next. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you for your interest in Klatch - I got it working well. As the biggest computer frustration usually boils down to a few clicks. For those who have the same problem, here is what has held back me.

    Until I'm able to get a connection I had to find some time to figure out how. Until I went in: WIFI - right click on the wireless connection, and then select PROPERTIES - click on the tab that says WIRELESS NETWORK -, PROPERTY - and then, AUTHENTICATION - once you see a checkbox indicating "authentication enable 802. 1 x for this computer"- UNCHECK this box. You will be able to connect to the wireless network.

    Then, my next problem and the reason for this post was that my network is connected, but I could not display web pages. This solution is buried in the manual on the CD itself. To resolve this issue, you must go into the DEVICE MANAGER to view the Linksys WMP110 under network adapters. Click on in the driver, then go to the ADVANCED tab. Here, you will see a list. You will need to click on the NETWORK TYPE. You should see two types of networks that you can select. The default value for mine was INFRASTRUCTURE. I had deselect this and select AD-HOC instead. My web pages now appear quickly, and I can browse the internet with wireless only!

    My setup is a N D - Link DIR-615 wireless router. I run Windows XP Home Edition on a Dell system. My type of security is WEP.

    Hope this info may help others.

    How to change the font size in Windows Vista

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Or, if all is smaller, not only the font size:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-AU/Windows-Vista/change-screen-resolution
    Change the screen resolution
    Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.
    For example, 640 × 480 is a lower screen resolution, and 1600 × 1200 is higher. CRT monitors generally display a resolution of 800 × 600 or 1024 × 768. LCD monitors can better support the higher resolutions. If you can increase your screen resolution depends on the size and capability of your monitor and the type of video card you have.
    Text and images are sharper and smaller at high screen resolutions
    Text is larger and easier to read at low screen resolutions, but images are rasterized and number of items adapted to the screen
    1. Open display settings by clicking on the button start , by clicking on the Control Panel, click appearance and personalization, clickingPersonalization, and clickingDisplay parameters.
    2. Under resolution, move the slider to the desired resolution, then clickApply.
    Notes
    • When you change the screen resolution, it affects all users who log on the computer.
    • When you set your monitor to a screen resolution that it will not support, the screen will go black for a few seconds while the monitor returns to the original resolution
  • Composition overlooks the 100% width Web page
    Hi guys,.
    I have this problem that when I go to the Web page on ipad. When I look at the home page on my monitor 27 inch and macbook 13 inch widget composition always remains centered in the view.
    When I open the home page on ipad, it overlooks right instead of being all aligned as it is on the left side.
    I have attached a picture to show what I mean,
    Please let us know of your suggestions,
    Kind regards
    Hello Akshay,
    I highly appreciate your answers to my questions,
    It is found that I just recently solved the problem. I had little experimentation and realized if composition overhangs slightly outside the web residents I will get this overrun, of course, that is not a problem if you have larger screens.
    Thanks anyway
  • Strange behavior on the web page of preloading in WebView
    I have the following problem: in my Swing application, I want to display a web page. To do this, I use a JFXPanel that contains a WebView. The web page must be loaded in the background, and only if the loading process is totally finished I want to make the JFXPanel visible. I use thegetLoadWorker().workDoneProperty() method of the corresponding WebEngine to determine if the page is totally loaded.
    The problem is, now that the JFXPanel gets visible, I see initially a totally empty Board, and after a short period, the web page in Web view is visible. I made a simple Application demo that reproduces this behavior. If the page is loaded, a button is enabled and clicking on this button adds the WebView Panel below. In addition the link following points to an animated gif that shows the behavior: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=oh66bl & s = 5 #. Ujv2IhddWKl
    I don "t understand this behavior, in fact the page has already been loaded. To me, it seems that the WebView starts to render the site just to the point where it becomes visible. What can I do to get the WebView already shows the web page is loaded right now that it becomes Visible (to avoid this effect of flickr)?
    I already posted this question on StackOverflow (see http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18873315/javafx-webview-loading-page-in-background ) but didn't get an answer and found this forum today.
    Thanks in advance!
    Try the updated version in this post.
    It requires a snapshot offscreen before displaying the Web mode to make sure all is rendered before the Web is displayed.
    The code is kind of ugly and the 'solution' is a bit of a hack, you would probably want to clean it up a bit before using it anywhere (for example, there is no need to create a new WebView and snapshot, web page on each load - I did it just to get a feel for the worst-case scenario and try to pinpoint where are produce slowdowns).
    A small rectangle moves back on the top of the screen so that the fluidity of the animation can be monitored.
    On the first charge, there will be a slight stutter in the animation, but the rendered web page instantly appears when click the show page"" button.
    As you say, the stuttering occurs only the first time the page is loaded, then everything is smooth.  If you use a progress bar regular instead of an animation, the initial stuttering is probably fine, because people expect to see breaks in the progress bars from time to time (more progress reported by progress bars is not a smooth linear progression).  My guess is that if you use a regular progress bar, the behavior seen with this example is probably acceptable for almost all users.
    As for the differences between the rendering between 2.2 JavaFX and JavaFX 8, there was a lot of changes to the internal architecture of JavaFX for JavaFX 8 that have improved rendering performance, as well as probably represents the delta.
