  I get the Webcam work properly in Fedora 22 core 4.0.6 (Incidentally, kernel 4.11 does not yet exist, so what kernel do you use )
  I suggest therefore that you check the software for the Webcam settings is not simply disabled:

  F2 at the STATION
  Go to advanced > system configuration
  Make sure the Webcam is turned on.

They installed ok but when I try to Setup Wizard I get a message saying something like the unit has stopped working. Then he ask me to close. I can use the camera as a normal but that beats the purpose of a 3d camera. Also, in the properties, he is listed as a Vimicro PC camera (Venus). Any help to solve this problem will be greatly appreciated.

Then while I was their read more on this feature. I clicked on cat sale of HP. They who are here in the United States. I asked her if can connect a Webcam to the Chromebox. In return, she replied that no Chromebox does not support webcams. I do not think myself because need to webcams video cards installed on devices such as computers in size. This Chromebox is just mainly used for display of things and has very little operating software. I'm sorry. I don't understand it because cell phones have cameras and they are very small. I guess it's just the way it is the design and what they wanted it to do. For me I think that they are only trying to deceive the people calling next generation computer. Sure doesn't look like a cell phone is more options, they call a computer then this thing don't. This is why the web cam does not work. frrw
