WebCam-processor questions

Hello HP... I have two questions

Why my webcam can capture image (1.3 MP MAX) but before I fix my cell phone to the service center it (5MP MAX)
and for the second question, could you tell me what is the core i3, Lossnay how does have... I checked my cell phone there just 1 Core... It is therefore a 100% CPU usage when I open a program
here my laptop spec:

Product name: HP 1000 Notebook PC

Product number: F2D09PA #AR6

Operating system: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Processor: Intel (r) Core i3 - 3110 M CPU @ 2.40 GHz

RAM: 2 Slot A-DATA Technology 1x2GB 1600 MHz

Graphics card: Intel (r) Graphics 4000 HD (total mem about 768)

I trust you... i'be waiting for your answer
Thank you and sorry for my bad English

Hey Dali99GRT,

The process that you are talking about is a little paradoxical to understand. The system idle process reports how idle the CPU is. In your explanation the processor uses 1 to 10% of its capacity, so this isn't the cause of your slow performance. Here is an article that explains it thus: why is the System Idle process hogging all the resources?.

I hope this helps answer your question.

Hello everyone. I'm new so please forgive my shortcomongs.

I have a Lenovo bought G585 of Romania in 2013, may.

Vedor says 'dual core processor' specifications, AMD E-300. I checked on the web, and I also found that the E-300 AMD is dual core.

But... When I use a software like PC Wizard, it is said:

And also, on the computer decency windows he know anything about dual-core:

The question is: is this normal? Because the computer is moving slowly.

Also: an upgrade of RAM improves whole with experience? (currently it moves slowly even on facebook)

  • Number of processors Question

As always, thanks for the help I get out here.

I have a simple question. If I have a Quad Core machine, then I have four processors available for assignment to the VM, I create.

    Can I connect 2 processors to VM and 2 to VM B and 4 C of the VM? 2 + 2 + 4 = 8. Is this ok to do?

I thought that if I have 4 processors available I can only assign, for example, 1 CPU to each of four virtual machines. Is this bad?

    Thank you.

    Mike Gallery

Yes, you can approve the processors in your ESX/ESXi host with vSphere 4 that you can average vCPUs per core - its impact on performance is will depend on the CPU load required by the virtual machine - also to highlight good practices is always to start with a single vCPU and add additional if necessary - from 4 to 8

  • OpenManage statement of the CPUS 'Speed' vs speed of processor question

    Hello

We have two identical (different config then RAM) installed PowerEdge R510 with Open Manage 7.3.0.   Both are duel Intel Xeon E5520 2.27 Ghz processors in them.

When you look at the details of the processor to the OM, on a single server, the two processors show 1600 MHz under the 'speed '.   On the other server, it displays 'speed instant "at 2266 MHz. '.

Can someone tell me why one server CPU not running at full speed (only 1600 MHz)?  The configuration of the RAM play in this?

    Thank you.

FYI, I figured this out. It was in the power settings in the BIOS. It has been set to Custom > low energy consumption. Apparently, this requires to run at a slower speed of the processor. I changed the parameters 'Maximum Performance' and equipped with rear ramps to 2.27 Ghz.

  • CS3 usually open in Windows 7 - AMD processor question - HELP!

After a lot of research I found there was a common problem with the processors AMD on Windows 7 and get CS3 to run correctly. Apparently a patch was created, which fixed the problem for users with similar issues. But the links to the patches are no longer valid.

I have no phone right now, aint chat work - and I can email Adobe of course, someone please...

Here is the forum that I found with these links and explanations:

    http://www.SevenForums.com/software/25313-Adobe-CS3-64-bit-ultimate-3.html

From there, this pretty much describes:

"Just bought a HP Pavilion Elite with AMD processorand Windows 7 Home Premium.  Photoshop CS3 would install but cling when you access. Some forums suggest that Photoshop CS3 is not compatible with this processor AMD and Windows 7 (64-bit). I called HP and was told that the software is not compatible. I was about to return my computer when I found this forum. I downloaded and installed the patch. I then opened Photoshop (for the thousandth time) and voila - it FINALLY opens! »

I also found many other isntances of this complaint with AMD processors - Photoshop Gets a window opens then goes in does not. All other applications will not open (but do not appear in my task manager). So, it isn't really a specific complaint of Photoshop, but I'm placing here.

I've updated the graphics card, changed the classic desktop theme, not Aero, tried running the program in compatibility mode different, all to nothing does not.

This patch that these guys MENTIONED has GOT to be it. Someone help me to get back to work!

    Thank you in advance.

  • T400 - Bluetooth - Unattended installation instructions/procedure required software.

    Hi all

Technically, this isn't a problem but a request for information.

I need the info because it will allow me to win that makes it a more awkward solution and I know it's there because the factory preload must have used a method to get this working automatically.

I know I wrote a lot but its all the and I don't want someone of Lenovo to have to ask three times for lack of information, so I have listed everything.

    BASELINE SCENARIO

    ThinkPad T40 [6474-1]
Windows XP Corp w / SP2 NOT the FACTORY PRELOAD OR DERIVATIVE>
I have two 'prototypes' working with T400 by making the current image of the company work on this platform.
We test brand and we need to preload of factory XP installed on it.
The SATA, sysprep, drivers, webcam-reboot-question, etc. have all been corrected and its achievements up to a point where the Device Manager is clean as a whistle and no mistake.

I'm not new to what our image is my full responsibility and it works perfectly on 7 different hardware platforms, 4 of which are laptops.

At the end of the new image, the software following 'silently' install in the order indicated THAT if the system is detected at a Lenovo 6474 - class.

[1] ACPI Power Management SETUP. EXE S - SMS N/A
    [2] Hotkey Utility SETUP. EXE/S-N/A
[3] Lenovo System Interface Driver SETUP. EXE/S-N/A
    [4] utility KEYBOARD Customizer. EXE S - SMS [1] & [2]
    [5] Director presentation Setup. EXE S - SMS [1] & [2] & [3]
    [6] ThinkVantage Access Connections SETUP. EXE S - SMS [1] & [2]
[7] CONFIGURATION of the power manager. EXE S - SMS N/A
[8] Bluetooth Enhanced Data rate software s/o s/o

All drivers are from Lenovo, the second field is the silent installation command line and the third is the dependency table.

    BASIC PROBLEM

As you can see, I don't have a method to do the installation in silent mode of the Bluetooth software.

I tried the Setup program . EXE s - SMS and installation. EXE/s in the main folder and subfolder Win32, the record of the driver but no dice.
It does nothing and leaving sitting there for a certain time, and then restart doesn't show the Bluetooth software installed after the reboot, so I know it does not work.

The Setup program . EXE s - SMS switch is common to all programs using InstallShield for installation in opposition to software Lenovo owner who uses the /S switch and the Bluetooth software uses InstallShield but the silent switch does not work.

The link on the website of Bluetooth driver software is driver ONLY I met who didn't list a silent method of install it and there is no SW1. XML file in the folder of the driver either. I'm pretty sure the SW1. XML file is the file used by the factory preload for install the software after the listing of PCI devices.

Do it manually [Setup.exe, Next, Next, Finish, etc.] works like a charm and does not require a reboot even that pilots have been automatically installed during the Mini-Setup after the sysprep/re image.

The best option would be for a person of Lenovo to let me know the command that I need to run to get the silent option to install the Bluetooth software.

A secondary option would be that Lenovo to help me with what follows in what concerns the procedure, or just give me the below CMD files.

On the laptop that factory preload, the file swtools contains the drivers installed on this model and there the same Bluetooth driver as the site in which he has no SW1. XML or information without supervision.

I came across the following file in the root folder that has some interesting info: c:\swtools\modules.log

Almost at the beginning are these entries

? evaluation of filters for 4gglw6a1 - thinkpad bluetooth software for helike
    ? -filter returned true
? result of the filter expression is true

? evaluation of filters for 4glth2a1 - thinkpad ms bluetooth inf for helike - copy only - lc
    ? -filter returned true
? result of the filter expression is true

looking for blue, the following entries much later in the reference file the above...

    23:04:28.84 Thursday, December 11, 2008, from c:\swwork\other\4gglw6a1.cmd
    ThinkPad Bluetooth Software for Helike
    Thursday, December 11, 2008 23:06:12.29 over c:\swwork\other\4gglw6a1.cmd

    23:16:21.34 Thursday, December 11, 2008, from c:\swwork\network\4glth2a1.cmd
ThinkPad MS Bluetooth INF for Helike - copy only - LC
    Thursday, December 11, 2008 23:16:21.46 over c:\swwork\network\4glth2a1.cmd

Obviously to have these files CMD at hand would be good but the swwork file referenced there is no because it has probably been deleted once completed the preload process.

I have a ghost of the factory image to preload when his "fresh" on the drive hard and don't not started even once.
I did this just after I slapped him preload on but before I started the first time.

I can recreate the image on this laptop with this image and pause before deleting this folder if this can help see me the file in the BACK [Winternals remote recover] but I would still need to know when to stop, etc..

    Thanks in advance. :-)

Original command-line from a factory without first restarting preload goes directly into the files using Winternals recover remote is as follows:

setup.exe/SB /ri /ru in the main folder, not the file under Win32.

This is how its supposed to run.

Guess what happens when you Google only switches with a double quote before and after the switch.

It immediately tells you on page of Bluetooth driver for Vista drivers!

So, basically, Lenovo it documented on page Vista drivers but I forgot to add it to the page drivers XP.

Lenovo, it's a serious blunder that cost me a days work on something that should have been available on the page as well XP anyway.

In any case, if someone reads in fact these, please change the appropriate page.

    Thank you.

  • I have a HP xw4100 workstation who died in the world.

The only thing it does is an error code on the power button LED blink.  It's 3 Red blinks followed by a two second pause.  This error message is not found anywhere in the HP manuals.  There is an error code for two, and a red flashing which is either of power problems radiator, fan or processor.  I did the basic troubleshooting here and nothing has changed.  I got a few points of interest to a specialist of the HP support which has made things more confusing.  The flashes-3 represents 3 beeps means processor questions and mode 'sleep', he said.  I don't get the 3 beeps so that means that it is sucking in mode 'sleep'.  Or is the card processor or mother after all?  I have not plugged and connected to the unit several times after one played with different things.  That's what I've done so far.  -all unplugged plug the motherboard devices left: nothing different - checked all the cooling fans: nothing - removed and put back the heatsink and processor (no not remove and replace the thermal paste): nothing - plugged a wired keyboard and presses the SPACEBAR several times: nothing.  Deaths worldwide.  Solutions/comments will be useful.  Thank you

    You are the very welcome.

If it were me, I would remove the processor.

Carefully inspect the processor for bent pins and mother socket for damage. Make sure you paste of course no thermal somehow obtained in these pin holes in the socket. If the dough is conductive, your motherboard is toast if he is in there.

If they look OK, then I go on eBay and buy a used, but tested and functional processor that is compatible with your system.

    Processor Intel Pentium 4:

    • 2.4 GHz (533 MHz front bus *, 512 KB L2 cache) *.
    • 2.6 GHz (front side bus 800 MHz, 512 KB L2 cache)
    • 2. 8A GHz (533 MHz front bus *, 1 MB L2 cache) *.
    • 2.8 clocked GHz (front side bus 800 MHz, 512 KB L2 cache)
    • 2.8e GHz (front side bus 800 MHz, 1 MB L2 cache)
    • 3.0 GHz (front side bus 800 MHz, 512 KB L2 cache)
    • 3.0E GHz (front side bus 800 MHz, 1 MB L2 cache)
    • 3.2 GHz (front side bus 800 MHz, 512 KB L2 cache)
    • 3.4 Extreme Edition GHz (front side bus 800 MHz, memory cache L2 512 KB, 2 MB L3 cache)

I don't know how the processor extreme edition is going for.

My next choice would be the one above that (3.2 GHz), which must be cheap and abundant. sSpec SL6WG is the only one I've always had for the d530, I upgraded.

  • FT/HA/vMotion compatibility

    Hello

I hope that the forum does not mind this strange issue. I tried to continue my learning of vSphere and ESXI installed on a white box with i7-2600 machine, on the Intel H67 chipset. Everything works

I would now like to add a second esxi host, practice FT/HA/Vmotion. I intend to stick with the i7-2600 for the processor, but my question is, the motherboard chipset should it be the same? I have to stay with a motherboard that is H67?

    Thank you.

    -MN

    Hello

Shorat response is "no, it doesn't have to be the same.

    Slightly longer answer is:

For HA, it shouldn't make any difference if it's the same or not (mother or processor card). For FT, and vMotion processor count.

Although FT and vMotion are apparently completely different one from the other, FT is possible with vMotion, so, the first thing to do is to understand the vMotion compatibility.

The "only thing" vMotion to be is (apart from a shared storage, network connectivity, etc.) East of compatible processors between them. You can have a look on this

    http://KB.VMware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalID=1003212

    and this

    http://KB.VMware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalID=1991

As you will see, processor questions and where you do not have the same processor, then you should play a little with VCA.

This is a compatibility table for EVC and the mask, you need to use in case you want to use two different processors

    http://KB.VMware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalID=1003212

And in case you want to learn a little more about all these (basic knowledge), you can take a look in this doc.

  • Equium P300-190 - Question about upgrading the processor

    Hello

I just have a question for my CPU PC Toshiba laptop, I have a can of Equium P300-190 full to give model number if necessary the cpu is one supplied with the laptop.

My question is I want to upgrade the processor but do not know which would be the best option and there are limits with the BIOS, etc. on board.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Probably it is not known to you that upgrading the CPU is not officially supported by the manufacturers of portable.

The CPU upgrade is a tricky thing... the fact is that the CPU must be supported by chipset and BIOS.
Where a party would not support the new processor, the unit will not light.

So even if you use a CPU that is supported by the chipset (Intel GM965) there is a risk that the BIOS could not support the new processor...

The laptop was equipped with processor Intel Pentium Dual-Core processor T2390 (Merom code name) probably the other CPU Intel Pentium Dual-Core family-owned would be compatible, but to be honest, you won't see a performance improvement...

So in my opinion it is not worth trying to upgrade the processor...

In my opinion, you need to replace the HARD drive with an SSD... in that case you will get the performance improvement...
