• Required "Login" message when you drill in the host

  I have everything set up and can't seem to access the hosts and guests if I connect to the vCMA page, but when I run the real iPad app, I'm not able to drill holes in the hosts.  I see the hostsn in the app, but when I try to drill holes in them I get a popup stating 'Necessary connection' with an OK button, and when I click OK it goes to the home page, but with no data.  Any ideas what I'm missing here?

  Ah OK, bit I was talking about is for the AnyConnect SSL (or IPsec IKEv2) client-based VPN.

  For Clientless SSL VPN (IE via the web portal), you can customize the page to logon via Setup > remote access VPN > clientless SSL VPN access > Portal > customization.  There you can change the default customization to create a new one for the specified groups.

  What Cisco calls the Logon Page, what users use before logon. You can change the title bar of the login form itself and possibly add an information panel on this page through the customization dialog box. Similarly, you can change the portal page (see what registered users) and logout page.

• Display Messages customized login Page

  I use a custom with APEX 4.1.1 authentication and I want to display error messages that are customized on the login page if authentication fails. In my authentication function, I use apex_util.set_authenication_result to set a result code (code below). I tried to use the apex_util.get_authenication_result on the login page to hide and display custom messages, but it does not work. I don't think that the apex_util.get_authenication_result is in fact to get the result? I'm doing something wrong? Is there a better way?

  I modified the "Message of connection" in the properties of the Application and put some JavaScript as well as the Message.

  I had to use the id of region R455645218512225484 and R8550713561097270 because they have not all the other attributes that I could use to hook. It might work correctly if you use apex.oracle.com (I guess that since the region id would be the same for all applications).

  You can use firebug (or any other web developer tool) or to inspect the HTML source code of the region and to identify the actual region id

  Hi all!

  We had the problem after upgrade to 5.0 APEX, we got an 'error in checksum message Notification content"instead of the login message failed when entering a wrong user name or password when you connect to our application. We could reproduce the problem on our own servers, apex.oracle.com and www.maxapex.com with application created under the APEX 4.2. After a while the search for the cause, I compared a sample application by a faulty filter and discovered that the automatic time zone setting (Modify Application Properties globalization) has been set to 'yes' instead of 'no' of the sample application. After changing the value 'no', after a connection failure error messages has worked very well. But I couldn't not to turn the defective application example be Auto setting of the time zone to "yes". So I guess it's a problem of upgrading legacy applications 5.0 and 5.0.1. Try https://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=43399 and enter some users of nonsense / pw.

  Thanks for the research of this issue. I filed bug #21435330 for that matter. It is caused by escaping into the JavaScript code for the detection zone, which modifies the text of the notification and makes it so different from the original text that has been calculated for the checksum for.

• No reliable connection to Twitter, even after the addition of a security exception

  I use Firefox on my desktop behind a corporate firewall and a server re-issuance of certificates of security from secure sites. As with many other users, it only normally leads to the trouble of having to manually add exceptions of security for https sites. However, for Twitter.com, even that won't work. First I received the login message not trusted with "the certificate is not reliable because no issuer channel was provided." Then I enabled browser.xul.error_pages.expert_bad_cert, but all that has happened is that the error message reloaded.

• AnyConnect VPN setup problem

  Hi all, I'm going to have bad configure anyconnect VPN on my router. I'm CCENT pre level and especially followed a tutorial, but feel I'm missing something simple here.

  It's a fairly simple installation on a Cisco No. 2851 - faces of a single interface my LAN 192.168.1.0/24, the other has a public IP address.

  I created a network 192.168.2.0/24 VPN users, mainly to have phones Android connection of their mobile phone networks, and have access to the servers/security cameras/etc by using their local IP addresses. When my phone connects, it gets an IP address and is connected, but is not communicating with my LAN correctly.

  The VPN client can ping 192.168.1.254 (the router's LAN IP) - but not the other devices on the network. However, the devices on my LAN can ping the VPN clients to their address 192.168.2.x.
