WebVPN timers

Hello

I've implemented WebVPN to allow access to the Citrix servers, it works fine, but the problem is that when the user closes the session and a window IE, the ASA maintains the WebVPN open for 30-minute session.

Is it possible to cut dowm this timer, because it is a problem of security and resources.

I have looked at using the SMDA but couldn't find a framework.

Any help appreciated

Regards Tony

Tony,

  • timer watch OS 3.0 - can I change the timers etc 1,3,5,10, standard?

    Just upgrade to watch OS 3.0 - love the timer app now has default timers (1,3,5,10,15 and 30 min + 1 and 2 h).

    I have the referee youth soccer games with 25, 30, 35, 40 or 45 minute halves.

    It would be GREAT to be able to set/add those as the default timers.

    Any way to do it?

    Hello

    If you add the complication of the timer to your dial of the watch, then launch the application from the timer of the complication will automatically offer a timer with the same duration when you changed using the application (including custom such as 45-minute periods):

    It is not currently possible to customize the default counters in the application. If you want to suggest that Apple consider adding this option, you can do so here:

  • Siri set timers or alarms or launch applications...

    I have a brand new 6 iPhone more and Siri cannot set timers or alarms! I have 'reset network settings' and it worked fine until I reconnected it to my wifi at home and then it stopped working again. To be clear, she can still give me time and make calculations, but she cannot set timers, alarms or the applications to launch, or God knows what else! It will not work even if I then drop the wifi network and switch back to LTE... So what am I, I expected to see, reset the network settings and then never use my router brand Apple once again?... Can I connect my phone to iTunes and reset it and all my passwords and settings AGAIN get new pending that all my applications and data to download just so it MIGHT work? (probably won't!) It's just absolutely ridiculous! So I'm dissatisfied and annoyed! I don't have time for this! Why on earth are there a few annoying bugs much like that on a phone I paid more than $900 for! In addition, it's actually the second 6 s more that I received, as the first I had to return and Exchange because the volume knob didn't work and something to another hardware or software-related was wrong, because the apps acted upward and games were CONSTANTLY gel... But that's another story... My problem is with this new phone that works very well outside Siri not currently able to set timers or set alarms or applications launch or God knows what else... Anyone got any quick suggestions or advice? Help, please!

    Soft reset on my phone (which is held the "home" button and the button sleep/wake until it stops and the apple logo appears) and now it works again. I hope this helps someone else who is having this very annoying problem! Before, I had tried "reset network settings" but which did not help at all. The soft reset hope it lasts...

  • Council of low profile counters/timers

    NOR (or someone else) made a profile Board low counter/timer? Perhaps with similar to 6602 record? If no, are there other options I could look in (I think that sampling rate may be too high to use USB)?

    Hi greatgrandpadog,

    Unfortunately, NEITHER has no counters/timers who are discreet about PCI solutions.

    Our location simple cDAQ-9171 chassis USB has 4 32-bit counters/timers can be used by a clock of 80 MHz to edge (detailed specifications).  For external signals, you can use one of our module of digital I/o that have different characteristics.  You can find a list of them here.  This will be the best way to go for a compact USB counters/timers.  If you have additional IO, take a look at our CompactDAQ Advisor, where you can use a chassis 4 or 8 locations to develop your e/s in a single system.  For a more sophisticated control, CompactRIO offers a similar platform but with FPGA and real-time for greater customization and reliability.  There is a line for this even, consultant here.

  • With the help of the cDAQ timers to repeat an impulse of finite samples clocked by train clock material

    Hi all

    A complex project I have to implement an interface acquisition of material for a linear motion sensor using the output of the synchronous serial (SSI) commune in the control of the industrial movement. (I have a bit of experience in digital electronics, but I'm new to hardware synchronized timer e/s digital in LabVIEW).

    To do this, I need to create a clock timed by the busted hardware signal pulse train TTL. Each burst consists of 25 down transitions, with a period of complete cycle of 2.67 microseconds (375kHz). The output is then held high until the next outbreak, that produce at 1ms intervals.

    Using of cDAQ timers and a NI 9401 (based on the example http://www.ni.com/example/30256/en/), I was able to create the pulse train burst as described (see attached image VI). Then I need to configure another timer to set off this explosion to repeat at 1ms intervals.

    Someone at - it guidance on how best to accomplish the hardware timing for the repetition of the pulse train?

    Any suggestions of alternative strategies or observations about the way that my noobish code is stupid or ineffective are welcome as well!

    Thank you!

    Hello RyanBiggs,

    You will need to perform the following operations based on the code that you have joined.

    1. Set up a second output continuous counter task which will give an impulse to 1000 Hz.
    2. Set up your first task of meter output to start according to the configuration in the first step using the vi DAQmx trigger.
    3. Configure the first task of the meter output to redeclenchables via the property node so that the output meter pulses when he sees a rising from the second task of meter output.

    The implementation is shown below.

  • timers stopped when removable Panel

    I am relatively new to LabWindows, and up to now, this has not been a problem, but now I write several critical applications of the time, it is. Simply, I need to find a way to put around the problem stop Timers reminders while manipulating panels - moving etc. My thoughts were if I could ecapsulate reminders of the timer in their own thread, this could solve that problem, but not sure if it of the simplest solution or how really has to implement.

    If I take the example of a simple stopwatch. I would not be concerned if the stopwatch mistletoe continues to update, if the Panel is currently handling - it's just that when it is released, the timer records the exact time and didn't tick right on the point where it has been frozen.

    Simple examples you want to go me to get an idea of how gave around this problem greatly received

    Gavin

    It's big... Thank you. I was looking at this as an option. I'll have a play around and see if I can make it work. Thanks for the advice btw... I don't think theres anything I do that is likely to create problems that are likely to create problems of access of file or potential blockages, but I'll keep them in mind.

    Keep you informed on the progress and could be back for more tips.

    I faced a question about WEC7 when run CTK test: compare three timers Drift - busy to sleep and the sleep of the OS. Error like below:

    Compare all three timers Drift - busy sleep and the sleep of the OS: * ERROR * too drift between GetTickCount and Hi Performance.
    Compare all three timers Drift - busy sleep and the sleep of the OS: * ERROR * GetTickCount is 120001 tick.
    Compare all three timers Drift - busy sleep and the sleep of the OS: * ERROR * Hi Performance should be between 120000 and 120003 inclusive ticks. Instead, it's at 120401. These figures are using GetTickCount units.

  • structures of several timers event

    How would it be best to implement waiting periods of a statemachine event where there will be three independent counters for LV8.6? a 50ms, one to 300ms and the other 10 s. The control of the event already handles change events of value to a number of Boolean screws I would use timers to know when I should update my screen (50ms for LEDs, 300ms to measure the current through GPIB, 10s for temperature measurements).

    What I thought about so far:

    * I'm not sure that the time-out event is what I want, because it restarts every time that the structure of the event is entered and there is only a single clock value. I need to get the current time, look up when I expect it the next event to fire and to program that. That's how I'm leaning towards at the moment.

    Support parallel to the structure of the event loops would be problematic because it lives inside a state machine and could only advance when an event occurs and a timer has expired. It would be too complicated for what it is.

    jcurl wrote:
    [..]

    So you're saying there are no such thing as the "timer" events, where I put on a control and it can raise an event that the structure of the event can respond to?

    [...]

    Jason,

    I don't know if we are talking about the same thing here.

    I just wanted to point out that, from my experience, the time-out of the structure of the event leads to confussion and more often leads to applications programming based with polling stations in a single loop of mixture. And it's a bad idea.

    You can always set the user events and create a folder for the user event. The source of the user event could be a timer... so you have all the options you would like to.

    So for example:

    A loop contains the structure of the event (nothing more). Timing loops is defined by the frequency of incoming events. EventSources for example are several buttons, digital control and an event to a user.

    Loop B queries to some States of your system. If the desired set of States is given, you create a user event.

    So the loop B would somehow 'time' in A loop...

    I hope that now expressed in a better way,

    Norbert

    PS: Please keep in mind that it is recommended to use a single structure of single event in the app!

  • OpenGL and timers

    Hello

    I noticed that all the demos OpenGL basically call render() in a loop in the main function. Are there best practices techniques to lock in a specific framerate, synchronize to the material cycle (for example, iOS provides CADisplayLink which is a timer that fires at intervals VBlank), etc.?

    Thank you

    Dan.

    Hi Dan,.

    Unlike Android or iOS, Playbook NDK apply properly swap interval is surface swaps syncs (similar to DirectX). So you should not need timers to synchronize your render loop. If you are targeting 60 fps, eglSwapInterval (mEGLDisplay, 1); or 30 images/s eglSwapInterval (mEGLDisplay, 2);

  • WebVPN client SFR module removes the http packets

    Hi, I have configured the WEBVPN access to ASA 5512 with SFR module a long time ago and internal http links have been working great.

    After the ASA upgrade to 9.5 (2), module of firepower to 6.0.0 - 1005 and DefenseCentar to 6.0.0 (build 1005), I am unable to open the internal http links (also CIFS works very well at the same time).

    After I connect to the WEBVPN, try to open "http://192.168.4.3" and then go to the monitoring of the ASA, I see these newspapers:

    Hi Nele,

    I think you might be hitting a bug.

    I understand that you have an authorization for this traffic rule. But can you please create a rule to trust the IP address of the ASA for internal services that should be available in your access control strategy.

    Now, check if the traffic still gets deleted.

    Thank you

  • How to synchronize two timers that send data?

    Hi, I have a problem:

    I have a thread in which I have two timers with timerTask. two of them will send data on the server. the first 5 sec every one and the all other the 1 sec the problem is that when I run the defective computer application (disconnection with an IOException error) after 3-4 sec, I think it's probalby because in an instant, both of them are trying to send data and can only be in one second. I tried to create both a dataOutputStreams but this is not enough. Here is my code:

    //in my thread, run method:

    public void run(){

     synchronized(_firstTimer){

    //send data every 5 sec
    _firstTimer.scheduleAtFixedRate(new TimerTask(){

     public void run(){
       sendData(_data1);
    }
    },0, 5000);
    }

    while(true){

      synchronized(_secondTimer){

    //send data every second
      _secondTimer.scheduleAtFixedRate(newTimerTask(){

            public void run(){

         sendData(_data2);
    }

    }, 0, 1000);
    }

    }//end of while

    }//end of run()

    //and sendData() method:

         public boolean sendData(byte[] _b){
                int length = _b.length;

                try{
                    _os.write(_b, 0, length);
                    _os.flush();

                    return true;
                } catch(Exception e){   return false;   }

            }//end of sendData method

    //where before in the code i've got:
    SocketConnection _s = (SocketConnection)Connector.open(_address);
    _os = _s.openDataOutputStream();

    can someone please provide all my advice how to fix this?

    Kind regards

    a solution would be a 'executable queue", a vector that contains objects that implement the runnable interface and executes one by one.
    the two timertasks add their treatment to the queue (synchronized) and directs the queue.

    It is a lot of material on threads synchronization available on the net because it is one of the most basic problems of treatment / distributed computing.
    I'm sure you can find detailed examples to sun.com and many other java sites.

  • SendListener in address book cancels timers

    I'll try to be as concise and as accurate as possible, but this scenario seems a bit esoteric for me, so...

    I have a 'standard' (ala net.rim.blackberry.api.mail.SendListener) SendListener listen on email send events. It works 100%, no problem there, and the event is triggered as expected. Everything is good.

    The idea behind my implementation of sendMessage is "wait" (non-blocking) and start a thread that makes the body of the work required.

    public boolean sendMessage(net.rim.blackberry.api.mail.Message message) {
      wrapThreadInTimer();
      return true;
    }

    I wait (using a programmed timer), and then start a thread.

    private void wrapThreadInTimer() {
     new Timer().schedule(new TimerTask() {
       public void run() {
         new Thread() {
         public void run() {
           //body of work performed here
        }
        }.start();
      }
     }, 1000);
    }

    Now it works perfectly when an email is sent to the application messages (Messages - enamel dial).

    The esoteric Bit

    However, the esoteric part is when sending the application address book (address book-(Select Contact) - Contact E-mail) the Timer never executes its annex (TimerTask).

    I also tried a Variant, the wrapThreadInTimer() who starts a thread immediately which, in turn, puts in place a programmed timer. In essence, inversion of control timer and Thread on the code above. Yet once the TimerTask is not running when sending the address book only. Otherwise works very well when sending Messages.

    A third variation (plain Thread without the TimerTask) works very well for the sending scenarios.

    private void startThreadImmediately() {
        new Thread() {
            public void run() {
                new Worker();
            }
        }.start();
    }

    It seems that, when you send an email directly from the address book, timers are mysteriously abandoned?

    Behavior on 4.6 and 4.5 up to now.

    Ok. figured it out. not _that_ esoteric plus.

    the address book outputs / stop the process once he sent the e-mail.

    which is strange behavior (I think?) given the process so

    Open address book

    Select the contact

    Select the e-mail address of contact

    Click send an e-mail

    (open an email window... type in message)

    Click send

    NOTE: address book application is now closed

    I expected (but never really noticed until now) that the application of book address would remain open, so you can continue your * original * thread that was looking for contacts.

    Whatever he can it of not mysterious at least

  • EventDispatcher and timers

    Hey. Additional post this week-do you need to get into the event dispatcher, so that timers work? I read that the queue to process may overflow if you do not. Simple illustration-

    main()

    Mytimer timer = new Timer();

    myTimer.Schedule (new ThisTimerTask(), 10000);

    myapp.requestBackground ();

    It worked on a handset of the torch, but not Curve 8520 (made in JDE 4.6). On the curve, the event log showed the processqueue overflow and the oldest event being dropped (it had several timers), who ceased the work of the app. Clearly, I need to learn how the event dispatcher, requestBackground etc., better work. When I added entereventdispatcher, it stopped working on the torch.

    If necessary, I can post the full thing with the code. What events, background apps and timers have pls? A kb article or link too...

    J.

    Inject the events in your application or in some integrated applications? Note that not all applications or the screens of the application supports injection of the event.

  • Timers and Singletons

    A little history about what I want my app to do first.  I am writing a program to turn on my wifi on and off at a scheduled time.  For example, to turn on the wifi at 19:30, turn it off at 08:00 the next day.  Here's how the program works.  There are 2 entry points for statup auto code and one for the GUI.  The autostartup reads dates (if any) of the persistent store and planning timers accordingly.  Then if the user opens the graphical user interface, they are presented with 2 selectors field dates to set the on and off time again.  When recording these data, it should write back to the store, cancel the current timmer and plan new timers.  Here's the code.  For brevity, I have excluded which, in my view, are not relevant.

            //WRONG Timer _timer = new Timer(); _timer = new Timer(); //CORRECTED //Yes, I am aware that a delay of 5000 is not daily, it just makes debugging easier
            _timer.scheduleAtFixedRate(new TurnWifiOn(), dateOn, 5000);
            _timer.scheduleAtFixedRate(new TurnWifiOn(), dateOff, 5000);
        }
    }

    The problem is when I call setTimer line GUI code

    if (_timer != null)

    is always false, even though I know that I have and you will see a timer running from my statup code.  My singleton or my body doesn't seem to work properly.  My understanding of how this code should work that is to use the singleton I can obtain and modify a specific instance of my timer.  For any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

    So it is. Now that I re-read your original post, I think that there is a totally different problem. You declare in your SetTimer()) method, a local variable _timer that hides the member variable. That's why the next time, _timer is always set to null. Try changing:

    //create new instance of timer
    Timer _timer = new Timer();

    TO:

    //create new instance of timer
    _timer = new Timer();

  • WebVpn and enter URL

    I use an ASA and WebVPn. It all works well, but on the left side of the WebVpn page. I can enter in any url I love and get on this side, internal or external. Is there a way to delete this box where you enter a url.

    Most likely you have entered

    ASA(config-Group-WebVPN) functions entry url file-access - the entry of the file file-navigation

    No it takes the url entry to remove the toolbar from the url.
