• Problem with the links in my emails outlook express

  I have an OS XP service pack 2, with outlook express.  My mail is in outlook express, but my wife gets his mail through yahoo.  We both receipt of emails from sereral from a friend with links to the url included in the e-mail.  When she clicks on these emails in his yahoo account link comes right up.  However, as a week ago, all the links that are in the mails that I opened in outlook express, they do more nothing when I click on them - no error message nothing.  Anyone has an idea why links open if I opened an email in yahoo but not if I open an email in outlook express?  And what could be the fix for this?  I never had this problem until about a week ago. Thank you.

  Scroll to [NONE] URL: Protocol HyperText Transfer (shortened NOTURL:Internet) and select it.
  Click Edit or advanced, depending on your version of Windows.
  Choose 'open '.
  Click on change.

  "Application used to perform action" should read:

  Iexplore.exe to ensure that it is correct and use the double quotes).

• Lightroom "Open with," "open...". "Links for Photoshop 5.1 in gray.

  I work with the latest versions of Photoshop, Lightroom and ACR. A couple of weeks, I noticed that links to Photoshop since Lightroom were all grayed out. for example, when I right click on an image and select 'Open with' he and the rest of Photoshop links are grayed out and inaccessible. I used Photoshop since Lightroom ansd since v1 v2.  My operating system in Windows 7.

  I have read a few messages in the forum and followed the advice to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop to restore links. I spent about two hours to do this yesterday. When I made the links were back and functional. I left the compluter all night to make sure that everything has been saved. This morning, I opened Lightroom (64-bit) and attempted to open an image in Photoshop for editing. All the links were still gray.

  So today, I uninstalled and reinstalled Lightroom. Still no luck.

  If anyone has some insight on this issue please let me know.

  Personally I would try again after the reinstalled Lightroom Photoshop, just so that I had done it in both orders. Photoshop > Lightroom and Lightroom > Photoshop. I have done this ages ago and it worked. YMMV. Otherwise look to delete preference files.

• Photosmart 3210 all in one: Scan and reinstall the program failures

  Printer isn't online and firewall is on and no network.  Printer and scanner going good since 2006 until I tried to scan a negative, I think for the first time in its history.  Scan bar will quickly about 2 inches and lamp turns off and printer says to stop, but this isn't.   Had to unplug, but printer would reset with all functions (except movie option).  Uninstalled and reinstall failed with the error situation code 03215762.  Print function works with other programs and copy function works, just can't sweep, and there is no solution Center, could not reinstall.  Resettlement goes to 2% with the status - stop services - bogs and Print Spooler Service and will remain bogged down for hours until the end with the Task Manager.

  During the forced relocation ends and said deleting files, another error situation code 06458626 comes up with a few lines comes from installation error logs.  Help would be wonderful.

  Due to personal obligations, could not work on reinstalling printer until this week.  Put a link to MS and I've tried suggestions there - .NET updates, enter the registry and delete some files and a work-around suggested without success.  Next I googled "Can not stop spooler on MS XP SP3" and as choice went to forums.techguy.org/windows-xp/897775-can't-stop-spooler.html, Harry 32, January 28, 2010.  This guy had a sounding similar problem and his solution worked.  MS Fax in windows, computer components unchecked rebooted, went to spooler MS services, stop selected, and he stopped.  YES!  Then I ran the new drivers you sent and installed the program without glitches.  YES, once again! (actually when install stopped and said spooler was arrested and I wanted it to be fixed and started then the installation can continue; naturally, I selected Yes.)  I scanned a photo, printed and made a copy successfully.  However, I tried again to scan a negative from the solution Center and the button on the Panel of the printer without success.    I'll close this as 'select solution' and start a new discussion of assistance on the issue of negative scan.  Very gratedful for all your help.  I'd never know what Google if you had not discovered in troubleshooting spooler problem.

• Strength of re - download all the data the Capacity Planner tool

  I have a situation where a colleague installed Capacity Planner on a site and left on for more than a month before having a capacity planner account in the warehouse of VMWare (optimize.vmware.com).

  This means that the tool has been happily collecting data locally but he not sent to the Web site.

  He obtained his full story last week and made the link to the online store by registering its local database with the site ID. However, it seems that the capacity planner tool has not downloaded all the data it has collected - he made only in the last two weeks, and it doesn't seem it's going to 'catch up' and recover old data.

  I looked in the local Access database and you can see all the old data in there. Question - is it possible to force a re-synchronization of all data in the local database, while the old data are sent to the server? I tried Admin/Options/Modules, enter the work of data synchronization and uncheck everything except export data collection and send data, then manually run this task of data synchronization, but he only made a partial dump of the data.

  If the data have never been sent to VMware.  The data must be in the folder "c:\program files\vmwaer\vmware capacity planner\outbox.

  If the data have been sent, and archive check box has been selected, the data must be in the folder "c:\program files\vmwaer\vmware capacity planner\archive.

  If the data has been sent and the box archive was not checked, then the data will be only at VMware.  You will need to contact vmware to reprocess data.

The email gave a link to check the status. The link showed 'OPEN' for a week, and now the link to check the status appears as an invalidlink. I posted this in error at the end of someone elses post this weekend, but thought I should create a new post on Monday morning. As forum poster lschen yesterday mentinoed, emails are also sent back to [email protected]. Can you recommend what should I do to complete the free application for upgrade license number? Thank you!   I've tried for the past few weeks, opening an external link on the Safari browser, and I found an app that do a similar thing which could make the customer happy.

  It's WIRED magazine and the FAQ section

  Any external limk there open a layer on the content with HTML content more and have minor some navigation controls and a done button.

  How do do that? Please, I'm despearate to find a solution, since I even ask a question on this forum before and had no answer at all...

  There is however a problem:

  (1) open this dialog box and view a specific page

  2) click on the arrow to open Safari

  (3) the "open external link" not FACT NOT appear

  4) click DONE and close the dialog box

  (5) the context menu "Open external link" APPEARS now!

  Can someone tell me if it is a bug in the API? I am currently usin 2.27

• Two questions about the export to EPUB...

  I have a document I want to set up as an epub.  This is a book for children, so I need to do two things that it does not currently when I export.

  1. I need the text remains on the image associated with it.  Is there a way to anchor the text to an image, so it never leaves this image, even when the text resizes?

  2. There are some sounds and animations that are currently available on each page.  Those used to EPUB, because, so far, they disappear when I export in this format?
