Weird acting SATA Sockets.

Hello, I recently went on a frenzy of hard ware and installed a new drive hard and hard drive of my HP Pavilion a6720y. I still have the factory-installed disk drive and the HARD drive. Research in the body of the computer, there are four exits SATA cables. 1 blue, white 2, 3 light blue and Orange 4. I have SATA cables in 1, 2 and 4. When I put my new Jack SATA 2 internal HARD drive, my PC is no longer recognizes my drive HARD master and will start not (which is 1). I would like to make use of all four taken SATA, is there any reason I can't?

Already tried:
Put Master HDD in SATA 2.
Put one of the two SATA 2 disc burners.

It's almost as if there is a SATA 2 SATA cable, the computer does not work.

After playing around with the wired, I have everything working. I think something was loose. Consider this thread closed. Thank you very much!

  • Weird acting HFM 11.1.2.3 journal entry

    Hi all

    We have just improved 11.1.2.1 to 11.1.2.3, and there are some strange events in the log entry module.

    We attended a few times when trying to enter the debit or credit the newspaper, the cell suddenly only accepts a single number and replace guard if we try to add something.

    For example, if we want to enter 456, it goes from 4, then replaces it with 5, then 6 (as if we have reached the keyboard insert key). The only way that we are able to enter 456 is to save the journal entry, close it and then re-open it.

    Like all the world sees this behavior before and how can fix us this?

  • Weird acting decimal values increment

    I was wondering if anyone has come across this problem and what you did to fix:

    When I try to increment or decrement a variable para.1, she retourne.1,.200,.300, etc.. After the first inc/decrement the third decimal point extend to however long (in pixels), I have my variable text that displays the value. So, if I start with a var that on the screen looks like: $$PrimaryRate$ $ and expand the area of text out beyond the length of the text string, then set it to 1 and then use a button to increment 1 para.1 consecutively, it produces something like the following: 1.1, 1.20000000000, 1.30000000000, etc. I tried just to shorten the text box to hide the additional decimals, but who does that until you hit the 10 s. Then, you lose the decimal point because of it being covered by the short text box. It's even worse that you go up more of places.

    I think that what is needed is the ability to specify decimals allowed for a variable (value of 1, 2 or 3 places usually), similar to the PDF form field values, but I don't see anywhere this setting in CP8 (my current version). I'm just missing?

    Also disappointed about not displaying variables is not my policy chosen, but that's another thread here somewhere...

    Thank you

    Alan

    You can put these 2 functions at the head of the html page. Call the incUp() or incDn() in the JavaScript window.

    function incUp()
    {
    var tempVal = Number (window.cpAPIInterface.getVariableValue ("myNumber"));
    += tempVal. 1;
    window.cpAPIInterface.setVariableValue ("myNumber", tempVal.toFixed (1));
    }

    function incDn()

    var tempVal = Number (window.cpAPIInterface.getVariableValue ("myNumber"));
    tempVal =. 1;
    window.cpAPIInterface.setVariableValue ("myNumber", tempVal.toFixed (1));

  • reset the weird acting bounding box in Illustrator CC2014

    I upgraded to Illustrator CC 2014 last week and I have a problem with delivery to zero limit box function. With previous versions of Illustrator, upward through and including the previous version of CC, I was able to use the reset function bounding box after the rotation of an object to reset the X limits / there axes. Now, in 2014 of CC, I am unable to do it with rectangles, and rounded rectangles. He still works for ellipses and polygons and stars, but not for the rectangles. When I rotate a rectangle and try to reset the bounding box, nothing happens. Is there some arcane adjustment that I managed to turn on or off? Everyone knows about this problem?

    News, tips, tricks, or condolences are appreciated.

    You must release the first rectangle. It is a direct form.

    Read about rectangles directly in the section "News" of the manual (it is presented each time you start the program after all).

  • Weird acting text size: s

    Well, I have problems with my text size in photoshop...

    18pt text is huge... far too great for an 18 pt text...

    But if I 1.8 pt, the text becomes as a text 18 pt (as it should be done)

    so here's an example:

    18 pt <-pt 36 (but that's what it looks like in photoshop: s)

    1.8 pt <-it is in fact 18 pt

    can someone help me with this problem?

    No, it isn't, the point 1 is 1/72 inch with a resolution of 72 DPI (pixels per inch), 1 point is equal to 1 pixel. However, if your image is at 300 PPI 1 point is equal to 300/72 = 4.16 pixels.

  • width and weird acting components

    I have a Sprite A parent, I add a Label and a component from the list at. The label is placed directly above the list inside A Sprite. It doesn't matter how change the width of the label and list, A Sprite always reports a width of 115. How can I remedy so that it indicates the actual width?

    Thank you!
    Kyle

    My guess is that it is not a problem with the Sprite, but rather a problem with components.

    Components immediately resize. Because they have complex redraw the schemas you setSize() and then an image later component is redrawn. Internally, the component knows how wide, it is supposed to be if you query the width property you see the value that you expect.

    But the parent Sprite does not know the internal state of the component, he knows just how little she actually is, it's why he realize the width of old.

    After a picture that they will be back in sync.

    Interesting...

  • Blue/green lines acting weird

    Until recently in AE my blue and not green lines acted as they would normally and it raises all sorts of frustration for me.  At first, I thought it was just my new project, but then I started to open old projects allowing to behave normally, and now they are weird acting just the similar new is clearly a problem that happens throughout my AE software not just my project.

    I'll open a project the RAM Preview button click and it takes about 4-5 minutes to load the green line for a film which is 4 minutes and does virtually no animation inside or effects, then the movie will begin playing automatically as it is supposed to when it ends the caching for ram, but THEN! I look forward and noticed that the green line is only at half way through the film so it really only cached in the first half of the film. So, I put paused and then click ram preview again and all executives who have been just cached to ram disappeared (there is no more green line where I waited just 4-5 minutes to get cached) and the green line, which was all throughout the first half don't not turns blue when I try to see it go in the same place It disappears completely.  THUS, it acts as if it is no longer chached RAM or even the drive!  Just the fact that it stops at half way through and behaves as if it cached the entire film (starting in the RAM Preview) is also just weird and proof that something is wrong.  This will happen again and again in different forms or another.  Basically, it's just unpredictable and I can't find a model in the problem then it makes it even more impossible to deal with.

    Any ideas on the issue?

    P.S. I noticed when I changed the RAM Preview FPS in a project, he changed the FPS in RAM Preview for each of them. Is there a way to make sure this does not happen and there just specific to this project?

    The majority of your video clip of work would be done first.

    First works such as iMovie did because they have two video editors (or NLE - non-linear editors). They work with a video stream. This is different from how AE, Nuke and other software compositing - located on full frame, without compression information in pixels. There is a long explanation why you probably don't care, but hope this short helps. The Adobe team is working on this repetition how AE works that will make the preview to be a little more faster/better in the future, but it won't always be like a NLE.

    Now, lyrical videos would probably do for most in AE. But the good thing is that you don't really have much in AE - just a small piece at a time to listen to samples. Set your work area and create a RAM Preview (half brothers, probably). In addition, an important tip in AE, you can press on the. on your keypad and AE will play an audio overview. During the preview audio playing, press on * on the numeric keypad to set markers. If a layer is selected, it will be a layer marker. If no layer is selected, it will be a composition marker. This is a convenient way to appear outside of the audio timing to the AE.

  • New to Blu - Ray SATA drive not identified in BIOS

    Precision 690

    Win XP Pro

    Hello

    Tried to install a Blu - Ray Pioneer BDC-202 BK player in the PC above, plug it into one of the SATA sockets on the motherboard (marked HDD_1 through HDD_4). I plugged the drive to each of these shots and allowed all SATA drives in BIOS and the player is not detected in BIOS or in Windows. I have also tried to change the shape of controller SATA AHCI to ATA.

    There is power to it (can open the drive Bay) and the LED lights during startup. I also noticed that the startup initialization part takes an age, most Windows crashes on loading in place (but eventully appears and works very well. All works ok once the player is disconnected.

    The player does not appear in Device Manager.

    My feeling is that the player is defective I tried to use connect it via a SATA/USB converter without success.

    This is the first time I tried to install a SATA device so my other thought is miss me an obvious step.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    77 open the "Windows Security Center" app - install Norton disabled.
    78 select "Windows Defender" (before Windows 8, this software was named "Microsoft Security essential" free anti-virus).
    So, instead of paying $$$ after the end of the period of 'test' of Norton, you have FREE antivirus software.
    79 connect your printer (Windows can connect to the Internet to download device drivers).
    80 run Windows Update to get the latest updates and Windows Defender, your printer for Windows 8 itself.

    So, you have installed Windows 8 * THREE * times.  Fun, huh?

    No thanks to HP, to make the RAID Configuration utility a Windows application only.
    rather than make accessible mode of BIOS CONFIGURATION.

    Thanks to HP for not identify 2 SATA ports on the motherboard are only two ports "fast."

    No thanks to HP for this 'sp58558.exe' file _not_ put it back in the software.
    unless the motherboard went from "AHCI" mode in "RAID" mode
    This is probably why the 'preloaded' version of Windows 8 does not include this software,
    force the user to download/install separately.

    Hello

    Based on the following specifications, there NOT all alternatives for a second HDD segment:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03969069

    Alternatively, you can refer to the following manuals:
