  In the worst case if the update goes bad your computer doesn t boot. This means that you can only see a black screen and nothing you can do. In this case you would need professional assistance from an authorized service, they can reflash the ROM module or Exchange it.

  But a few important points here before starting the update:
  S ' ensure that you are logged on as administrator
  -Disable your AntiVirus and your firewall
  -Disconnect the Internet
  -Close all running programs

  Yes, maybe the thermal compound must be renewed if you already cleaned your laptop. After that, everything should work normally.

  I do not recommend to do a bios upgrade if your system works well. If the upgrade process go wrong your mobile doesn t boot more, and then you will need to contact
  TASP (Toshiba authorized service provider).
  Be sure to close all programs, disable antivirus, firewall.

  I recently receive messages to run a disk check at the beginning so I wonder what exactly happens during a disk check, how long it takes and what are you doing to stop in an emergency. I would also like to know the consequences of not doing it soon enough and what it does exactly.

  It only checks that each file is correctly written to disk by making sure that record of the file system matches the actual file (for example, the size of the recorded file and the actual size are the same).  It takes a lot of time to read all the files, that is why a CHKDSK process can take several hours (or more).

  CHKDSK scans are not necessary and should not be executed unless your computer has a problem.  The NTFS file system is a file system jounaling which is very resistant to errors and correct them if necessary.  It can handle the delayed write failures and power outages and will schedule controls when necessary. In most cases, running a check of your own is just a waste of time (and the use of unnecessary disk, which will reduce the life expectancy of your hard drive).

  You can finish it safely if you want, simply press Ctrl-C together.

  You shouldn't see any problems even if the migration of VM using vMotion. But Storage vMotion while backup may cause a backup failure. However a subsequent backup storage vMotion position will succeed.

  This is because your phone is already updated to iOS 9.2.1. Ignore the message. It seems that itunes is out of sync. I got this same message this morning when I plugged my phone into the computer, but I just cancelled it because I knew that my phone was already up to date.

• My new sites pinned tab only display full-screen mode. What happened only since the update of Firefox.

  I have my best sites 'pinned' to the new tab. Since the update of Firefox do show that the first four sites (top line) and I can't drag/release those missing bookmarks.

  I have just discovered that the sites are still there but only appear when I select the mode "full screen".

  Is there a way I can restore the page to show two lines of pinned sites without being full screen mode please?

  It seems that there is a regression with 39 Firefox on the new tab page. A bug report has been filed on 4 and the triage team responded.

  I saw the same thing with the difference in mode full-screen during the test of this "change"; the 'missing' line appear in full-screen - but with the resolution of my screen, I could see two rows of tiles, the 3rd rank was not missing mode full screen.

  In formats previous Mozilla, if I had more than 1 tablet open as: Facebook, Aol.comand much much more. When I was ready to close the window and hit the 'x' at the top right, I'd get the options "save tabs & close" "close tabs" "Cancel".

  This gave the option of not having to look for things once again, if you are looking for the same tabs all the time. It's the same exact box you get now, but with the option 'save the tabs and close.

  This option can be added back?

  hehehe, that was one of my first questions I had when I started to build air for mobile applications. The answer is; your binary will be updated, BUT all of your application files saved dynamically will be still, whenever you save anything from your application, it is stored in a place related to your app ID (com.yourappname.blah.blah) which is removed only when the user removes the application from the device, if it persists even if you submit a new binary to the store and the user updates. Does make sense? I do the same thing on traffic wonder and it worked seamlessly when I did a small update from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1 (compatibility ipad3) version, so no worries, unless your new binary reads the old data in a different way

  We have several iPad 2 to my company. We had to factory reset some of them when they run into problems. My question is: what happens when iOS 10 comes out? When we their factory reset, they reboot with iOS 6. If both Apple iOS signature 10:09 is released and our ipads cannot update to 10 are they just glued to 6?

  Hi, I have an iPad 2 16 GB (Wi - Fi + 3 G). I've never used it because I have an iPad. 10 days back I thought to upgrade, it's OS and use it.

  He had iOS 4.3.3 there is no option to download updates OS for the device itself. I connect it to iTunes, download latest iOS (9.2.1) but I could not be updated.

  Whenever I try to update, it shows an unknown error. I tried to update on 3 different computers (2 PC and a MacBook Pro), I have the latest version of iTunes installed on these computers all three.

  iPad is also on the recovery mode, I can't use it. I tried a hard reset but it happened again in recovery mode.

  Hey Peter,

  I understand that you found an unknown error while trying to upgrade from your iPad with iTunes 2. Now it is stuck in so recovery mode, let's see if we can get this sorted out.

  The first thing to look at is when you get the unknown error, it's that it is usually followed by a number. The restoration again trying to see what number comes up and then read the article below to match the associated port number. It will probably be a problem with the network, security software or even may be a hardware problem with your iPad.
