What is a true Win 7 Ult COA?

When shopping for software Windows 7 Ultimate Full Retail (FPP), I came across a very tempting offer on online classifieds and asked the seller to send me a picture of the ACO:

This COA checks in a blink of an eye? Of course, I know that the only COST is not enough to verify the authenticity...

Thanks in advance!

Hello

I would like to point out something that you may not realize: Windows 8
has two interfaces; the modern/Metro Interface (which may be all the)
you have looked at) and the traditional desktop Interface. You can use
    one or both.
This traditional desktop Interface is almost identical to Windows 7
interface; the biggest difference is that there is no Orb start
Click to bring up the start menu. But note that you can get the beginning
Orb back using one of the many third-party programs, either for free or
    very inexpensive (Classic Shell to)
    http://classicshell.sourceforge.NET/ and debut8 to
    http://www.stardock.com/products/start8/; my personal preference is
Debut8, but they are both very good).  And goes from an interface to
the other is very easy; There are several ways, but simply by pressing
the Windows key is perhaps the easiest.
I use Windows 8, almost exclusively with the traditional desktop interface and start 8 installed. If you were to look at and use
my computer, you would have a hard time realizing that it is not
    Windows 7.

  • My Win 7 ult sleep no more

For about a week now my Win 7 Ult won't go to sleep more. Every time I re - set my power options for monitor off in 20 minutes and hotels in 45 mins win 7 will not sleep. I tried to reset by default and still won't sleep. I don't know why this is happening. Have no answer?

I found the problem!! Now I know why my PC would not sleep. The motherboard had built up a static electric charge. I turned off the PC and pulled the power cord from the back of the power supply. Then, I held the power button on the front of the tower for 30 seconds. then I put the power cord to the power adapter and I restarted the PC. After all, it has been initialized to the top, I tried to put it in mode 'sleep' and it worked fine. The PC is now still asleep.

It was not long after I built the PC about three years he had built up a static charge, and when he slept I couldn't get. A friend has my how de-static the motherboard. I was sitting here thinking and I remember when it happened. So, I made a static withdrawal for the motherboard and the problem disappeared, the PC back now.

This was one of those strange problems that rarely happens.

I just installed win 7 Ult 7 days.  In the event viewer, I got 1000 errors and I was wondering where I can get help? TY

And the list continues to become more mistakes as the months go bye.  Usually after 3 monts, my PC slows to a crawl, and I have to reinstall Windows & Ultimate!

It is very annoying.  I'm not the smartest when it comes to the PC, but I know enough when I have a problem.

Now, while I was with PC Cleaner Pro, I allowed a representative to take control of my PC to help set, and he went into the event viewer and showed me the error 1007 in

the event viewer.  He told me that only a technician 35 Microsoft could fix tis problem.

I would like to know how to solve these problems myself.  If that means classes or tests, I'm ready to get there!

But for now, I just want to know how to clean and fix the errors in the event viewer

So if you could tell me please small whet you need to me to help him with this problem, I'm ready

It's really annoying tio do reinjstall windows every 3 months.  So if you can help, I would be very happy VERY MUCH!

Errors and warnings in the event logs are not usually a sign of a major problem.

Unfortunately, there are many technical support providers who refer clients to the event log in order to convince them to pay for questionable services.

Use of cleaners and Tune up utilities is not recommended. They can often cause problems.

Use the construct in Windows utilities

    http://www.Microsoft.com/athome/Setup/optimize.aspx

Ensure that all remote access program is deleted from your computer.

Use a search engine to find information on all the events that occur frequently, specifying the event id and source, for example search for "eventid 512 capi2. Try to avoid scam sites that are always asked by this kind of research. Stick to sites of Microsoft or somewhere like www.eventid.net which is a good source of free information.

  • Windows 7 ult 64, play the game and watch movie

can someone please offer me a solution to this dilemma?

I recently bought a new computer, with quad core 3.4, win 7 ult 64 and want to really take advantage of the quadcore.

I would like to play call of duty as my wife is watching a movie on windows support.

at the moment I have on board sound and my motherboard has no video embedded if im using a nvidia 9400gt 1 GB

Do I need an additional sound card and a video card?

    I'd really appreciate any input!

    Thank you advance!

The key for a monitor is in windowed mode. 90% games today (and older games) have a very basic function called windowed mode. What it does is present the game in a window much like solitaire or windows media player.

The main problem is that you have a nvidia 9400 (which, if it is similar to the x 400 series should push the 2 monitors), who has an obvious lack of graphics power. Call of Duty 1 and DVD-quality video could be pushing.

  • How to keep the USB to USB UPS during sleep (Win 7 64)?

    Hello:

Still no response to painful problem with connection to UPS for sleep loss system.

New desktop (Dell Studio XPS 8100; Intel Core i-7 860 2.8 GHz processor; Win 7 Ult 64; 8 GB OF RAM; ATI Radeon HD 5770, etc.).
Brand new APC Back UPS XS1300LCD w/power falling Personal Edition v. 2.2. (Win7 compatible).

As with my old system to Vista Ult SP2 (32 bit), sleep cut power supply for USB devices, including the UPS.
Thus, if a failure occurs during sleep, the APC software could not perform his managed system shutdown.
Which defeats the purpose of having the inverter with its software to stop.

TS: the manufacturer of my computer (Dell) and APC were useless.

The only viable solution "circumvention" of Vista has been to implement a diet plan that NEVER put the HDD to sleep.  Not a very good solution, but at least it allowed UPS to stop software do its job failure.

Apparently, it is the only solution for Win 7, as well.
    Or is it?

If I disable the USB selective suspend in the settings for a plan power which puts the HDD to sleep, will be this or do not solve the problem and allow the computer to maintain the power (and the link with) the UPS during sleep?

Help, please. I'm not too computer savvy, but I hope it * is * a more satisfactory solution to this problem.

I have assigned to these forums several times in recent weeks, but never seem to get an answer.

    Thanks in advance,

    daledoc1 Desktop 1: Win 7 Ult (64); Office 2: Win Vista Ult SP2 (32); Laptop: Win 7 Pro (32);

    Hello

Follow these steps and check if that helps:
    1. go to start and type in Device Manager in the start search box and press on enter.
    2. in Device Manager, right click on the USB device and select Properties
    3. click on power management, then uncheck to Turn off energy-saving and activate the option to wake up from its sleep.

You can try to disable USB selective suspend and check if it solves the problem. Disabling this option has corrected the problems of connection with the devices USB mode 'sleep' for many users.

  • iTunes - stay on Win 7 64 bit upgrade, win 10 64-bit

I am running Win 7 64 bit on an older PC (disputed material 4 GB memory limitation). I have an iPhone TO an ipad mini and an old ipad.

Specifically regarding iTunes - should I stay with what works fine now (Win 7 64-bit) or take advantage of the free upgrade (?) to win 10 64 bit.

Yes, I know... a little late to ask this question. I keep procrastinating.  I search for related positions, did not find anything that general.

If you decide to improve see your iTunes backup for Windows with SyncToy library for a backup plan proposed. iTunes seems does not fare terribly well during an upgrade on Windows 10 site so it might be an idea to uninstall all Apple software before upgrading, and then reinstall later. Hello

I installed a true Win 7 / 64 professional version full on my Satellite Pro L550-199, PSLW9E. Now, I can't turn on my WLAN. There is no such thing as the large buttons-FN. I tried a lot of driver, that I found on the Toshiba Support page.
Whitch is the right, or Win 7 / 64 professional not supported with WLAN?
How can I pass on WLAN without the FN key?

    Lenny

    Hello

To activate the WLan, you need to install the Wlan driver first.
The wireless network card is recognized correctly in the Device Manager?
Otherwise, install the WLan driver compatible; As much as I know the WLan card is Realtek RTL8191SE 802.11bgn

Then once the Wlan card is recognized correctly, you must install the VAP (value added package) and Flash Cards support utility!
These two tools are required to operate the FN keys and switch WLan using Fn + F8!

  • I installed Win 7, sis discovered downloaded illegally, ran XP and now how do I get rid of Win 7? Help, please! VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE AND THANK YOU!

Okay, so I came one day at home to find Win 7 Ult on my computer. It turns out that my sister downloaded illegally, which I had no idea until it crashed my computer. He stopped working out of a reboot, I therefore had no choice but to run my backup version of Windows XP Professional. I wanted to keep the files of windows 7, I had some important docs ther, so I installed Windows XP under the C:\WINDOWS.old file and it works from there, and win 7 is in the C:\Windows folder. I have only one disk-37, 2 Go C, so I need all the space I can get. I don't know much about computers, but how do I get rid of Win 7 files which absorb almost 10 GB on my hard drive with Win XP works well? Win XP is activated and genuine. I heard someone say "Format the C drive", but then I read about it online and found that it could make my computer unusable! I don't know how to fix it! Please help me, it's very important that I have solve this problem quickly, I am sinking money in flash drives and CDs. help, please and thank you!

In addition, my system is a Dell GX280 series, pentium 4 with 512 MB of RAM, or 502 a 37.2 GB C drive. It has been renovated and came pre-installed with Windows XP.

The BIOS and Windows are not the same, you cannot make permanent changes to the BIOS settings only.

When you format your hard drive it will wipe all information off of it (it's your personal files, Windows, everything, etc.), but your computer still won't turn.  Your can configure which devices to start the system turn off the first, so when we need to start installing Windows from a CD, you need to configure the BIOS first boot device to be the CD-ROM drive (follow thesteps to clean install xp).  You must ensure that your CD of Windows XP is in the CDROM drive ready to begin the clean install, and there should be a point when your system say "press any key to boot from the CD-ROM...".

You can also follow the procedure here a clean installation of Windows XP: http://www.theeldergeek.com/clean_installation_of_windows_xp.htm

  • HP laptop purchased with Win Vista later upgraded to Windows 7 - laptop damaged

    Hello

I bought a laptop HP with Win Vista later upgraded to Windows 7. Now, the laptop is damaged for the 2nd time. I would go for a locally assembled desktop computer with Intel, last configuration chipset.

Can I use Win Vista / Win 7 license key on my desktop? What installer I use (Win Vista or Win 7)? and how do I get the installer?

    Thanks in advance

    Best regards

    PAL

    Hello

You cannot transfer the license of Vista.

If Windows 7 Upgrade was not part of this upgrade offering free back then, you can transfer, but you need an operating system to be installed to upgrade.

Read this information and you will understand what I mean:

If the computer/laptop comes with the preinstalled Windows operating system (Dell, HP, Acer, etc.) or is licensed to OEM System Builders, that the product key that came with the computer/laptop is preinstalled OEM license and is not transferable.

OEM license/product key (systems of operating pre-installed on Dell, HP, etc.) and the license OEM System Builders are related to the first machine it is installed on and dies when machine who dies.

Only retail Operating System license that you buy and install yourself, are allowed to be transferred to another machine.

And retail licenses also can be installed on a machine at one time.

  • Updated portable dv 4217cl (Celeron M, XP) for Win 7?

What improvements does run Win 7 on my 2006 vintage dv4217 cl laptop HP, which has the Celeron 1.7 GHz, 1 GB of memory and runs XP Home?  I want to replace the HDD with SSD without the headaches of XP / SSD.

    Thank you, Bill

The graphics chip is not capable of running the Aero desktop in Vista or Windows 7. If you are satisfied with the appearance of the Office ' basic' all you have to do is upgrade the memory to 2 GB and you can run Windows 7 properly.

In fact, you shouldn't have 2 GB, but the experience will be much better.

The laptop uses the older IDE type HDDs not SATA. There are a SSD IDE (aka PATA), but they are rare and older design. I wouldn't recommend trying to install an SSD in your laptop.

Overall, Windows XP is the best operating system for this material. It 'can' operate Windows 7, but not optimally.
