• CS4 converted dng files accepted only with the manual lenses and not auto lenses

  I have cs4 and a sony ilce7rm2 camera.  With manual lenses on the camera, my .arw files are converted to dng files using latest Adobe dng converter.  I open the dng file in photoshop cs4 without problem.  Well... unless I put an auto lens on my camera and take a raw picture, then convert it to the format dng, photoshop do not recognize!  What is going on?  The arw is converted to DNG as before... what the auto lens info says the program to not recognize?  Can I disable this prejudicial information coming from the lens?

  Got a new iMac and I can't seem to understand how to configure a lack of connection at startup.

  My previous Setup (El Capitan) iMac allowed me to never have a 'get' on a login screen at startup, it just went directly on the desktop. I have had no password for the Admin, and although I have no password for the Admin with the new iMac (and no comments option) I'm always presented with a login screen at startup.

  Go to Preferences system--> security & privacy.  Is the box 'Disable the automatic connection' checked?  If this is the case, clear the check box.  Then, out of this component and go to users and groups.  Make sure your account is highlighted on the left, then click on "Connection Options".  -What is "Auto-connect" set on it?  If not, change it.

  Trying not to reinvent the wheel...

  I started to rethink an older data acquisition/processing application using as much parallelism as possible.

  UI/data acquisition / Data Saving/computer/display of data are all handled in separate loops or screw that communicate and Exchange data via queues or the authors of the notifications. It works great so far.

  Then, I realized that the way I have provided the data processed by the data processing (DP) for tasks of the display (D) wasn't going to work in all circumstances.

  I use a notification utility, as well as several tasks D can access data and such that there is not much cost memory (no queue) if tasks D cannot hold. If the data are generated faster D tasks can get it, they miss some but get a chance to catch up more late or at least get some data from time to time. That's what I had in mind of origin.

  Then I realized that I I want to display all the data (for example in offline mode). This architecture will not work. If I had to keep the approach of notifying data, I would need a way to tell the task of DP to send data to the system to alert only when all D tasks are done with their previous data segment.

  What is the best way to achieve this? I need to be able to dynamically change the number of clients (task D), so I thought Rendezvous could work. But then looking at the example "Wait for all Notifications Demo.vi", it seemed that this might be an approach more natural but a bit tedious to handle since notifiers would be created (and destroyed() dynamically saw separate...

  The fact is I want DP about how many customers it is supposed to wait (at any time) to send a new notification (with the new data).

  In any case, since LV 9 SP1 crashed and threw all my work today (what about auto save every 5 minutes? Is it not working the 15th of each month or something?), I'll take a break and to describe the solution I came with:

  -J' created a process parallel to the VI of DP, what I call "Consumer Response Monitor" (CRM). This process asks a queue (waiting for messages to arrive using Dequeue, so no waste of resources) which is populated by the DP and D

  -DP warns CRM that new data has been sent (and thus to refocus its attention on the fate of the new data.)

  D the first register with CRM (and unregister when they left) and then tell CRM when they received data (who and who they are).

  -CRM monitors the number of registrants D receiving the new data and tells DP when all have (or there is a timeout). She did this by using a different queue.

  -If I am in 'direct mode' and don't care not if the D to time to process all the data, I just ignore the traffic with CRM.

• OfficeJet 4620: HP4620 responds to all calls in automatic mode

  Apparently I never understood what the auto answer for the fax machine.  I had always had put auto answer until recently when calls non-Fax began to be answered by the fax machine. There is a telephone and answering machine sharing the same line with the fax machine.  Fax has been implemented to meet the 2 ringtone (minimum).  The answering machine has been implemented to meet 6.   I had always thought the machine waited for a signal of the fax program, which you can hear when a remote fax machine attempts a call.  If something has changed because now I have to set the answering mode manual Fax, so it does not meet a non-Fax call.

  I'm not asking what or why things have changed.  But I would like to know why HP make the truly automatic auto answer feature and only answering fax calls.

  Auto answer means the answers incoming fax all call automatically, it does not refer to any call type detection listed in the manual of the printer.

  The printer can work between a TAM (answering machine), but must be configured properly, the fax must meet rings 1-2 after the TAM, then the fax works only if a fax signal is detected.

  I suggest to set your answering machine to answer after 4 rings and the fax after 6 rings.

  Hi guys I have a few questions.

  (1) what is the best to use when recording video on sony xperia z3 - 30 or 60 FPS? Are there recommendations for when you use the first and the second as the sunny days, etc.?

  (2) when I save on manual mode, I can choose between 30 a 60 fps but on AUTO mode, I can't so my question is: what FPS auto mode uses while video recording? 30 or 60? Can I change somehow?

  60 FPS will make the video more fluid and better during the seizure of the objects moving quickly. However, a higher FPS will be expand the video file and if you plan to play the video on another device this device must also support playback of 60 fps.

  The auto mode uses 30 frames per seconds and there is no setting to change this.

  If you take a picture during video recording in auto mode, it will have the same resolution as the video, 1920 x 1080. You can see the resolution of an image if you open it in Album and press [menu]-> Details.

• Constant BSoD, corrupt files, preventing a Win7 installation, no known recent driver updates

  From 4 days ago, my wife (Vista Home Premium) laptop started BSoD repeatedly.  We have not updated all the drivers recently (but who knows what performed auto-updates).  It restarted 4 times that night and each time it seemed to come as soon as she tried to access any URL in IE or Firefox.  She brought home for me and I had no problem with him in a browser, but the next day, he began to die again.

  Thanks for the answer, it turns out it was a bad stick of RAM.  I finally got to the point where I could boot from my CD of Windows, so I formatted the drive, but I still have bluescreened, so I thought it must be a problem with the hardware at its base.  I pulled one of the sticks and it crashed immediately, if I swapped out and it installed fine.  Thanks again for the interest, morality is to check things easy before going deep into the software!

• To connect to a network projector search
