Toshiba AT10LE-A - screen turn without reason

I got the AT10LE-a, noticed recently the screen will run without reason, then he'll just stay in that position any position of the screen is.

The only way to reset, is in the power off and then back, but the same thing will happen for some time.
I haven't done a hard reset.

Hello

What about auto-rotation option screen?
Apps-> settings-> display-> screen auto-rotation of images

Check the box to activate your screen to screen in applications, Web pages and games that support automatic rotation auto-rotation. This allows on-screen automatically switch the orientation of the screen currently displayed as you turn the side shelf or vertical.

  • Tecra S2: strange dots on the screen that appears without reason and randomly

    Hello

I have a laptop Toshiba Tecra S2 for almost a year now.
I formatted 2 months ago and when I did it. I had strange spots on my screen, appearing without reason and at random. I have not the slightest idea where it came from and I tried to format my computer again.
I installed the latest driver chipset on the site of intel, and then I installed the latest driver on the toshiba site.

I noticed that the problem is back. so that solves nothing. What can I do about it?

PS, not only the points, but I can't play too.

    HI Jelle,

When you say that you have formatted your laptop, you completely re - install the operating system from the recovery discs? If you did then the display should work fine.

If you have installed the Microsoft disk operating system, you will need to download the correct drivers from Toshiba for your Tecra from Toshiba download page web site.

  • Satellite C660 - crack in display without reason

    Hello

I got laptop series satellite C of Media markt Netherlands 20.09.2012 last month.

20-09-2012(Thu-8:45 PM): I bought the laptop
21-09-2012(Fri-11:00 PM): I'm trying to install the operating system and run in the @ & 'lack of shift key. It is a clear defect in the system in the first place.
22-09-2012(Sat-4:30 PM): I took the laptop to the store and asked for a replacement. The helpdesk team simply changed the settings and said that it had been fixed, and gave me the pack.
22-09-2012(Sat-7:00 PM): when I tried to connect again to my laptop I found the cracked screen.

When I searched on the Web site I found many face the same question.
But at least a few months after years.
But a new laptop without even using a single day becoming unusable is not fair.

Now I wonder to pay more than half of the actual price of the laptop for repair.
I firmly believe that I received a defective part of the laptop and request now to pay for it.

Either, I want a replacement for the one I bought, or do I want to go back to my laptop and get my money back.

    Kindly help.

    Thank you best regards &,.

  • Equium A200 - screen turns off

Hi, I'm having a problem with my Toshiba laptop, the screen turns off randomly and the computer still seems to work, but when I use a VGA cable to connect to a TV it does not display anything.

Here are pictures of when it fires
http://Tinypic.com/r/vr9d7d/7 yellow on the disc tray is turned on
http://Tinypic.com/r/2d9poya/7 that the front turned on lights and computer sounds like its operation.

This led me to believe it's a hardware problem, but when I turn on the computer in Mode safe it never turns off. I also got the fixed ups this year because the screen was losing power.

Can anyone help I can't really afford a new laptop at the moment

    Hi David,

It's a little confusing, it doesn't always happen when you shut down the computer, or just sometimes?
What do you do to get rid of this? Always remove the battery and the AC adapter or what exactly?

I think that it s a hardware malfunction, usually has nothing to do with the software. What you can try is a BIOS update from the official website of Toshiba.

Although a few times after the restart he still went.

Another weird thing, Vista SP1 does not install on my machine. tried to uninstall my Anti virus, but that did not help either one.

  • Satellite L50 - B turn off without reason

My toshiba laptop Satellite L50 - B keeps cutting without reason after for a couple of hours sometimes only 10 minutes however.
He does everything at stake but also while watching movies and all other applications are closed

    OS: Windows 7 (64-bit)

It seems that the laptop turns off automatically due to a higher internal temperature.
    Using Win 7 64 bit

Have you installed this system with your own hands? As far as I know most of the units are pre-installed with Win 8.1...

The laptop turns off using a system already installed by Toshiba?

How about the graphics card drivers? Have you used the drivers from the Toshiba page?
I ask because the drivers of Toshiba page are modified and released for mobile use!

Also make sure that your cooling air could circulate properly and the cooling fan is free

  • Satellite P200D - 139D stop without reason - just off screen

    How ppl?

New to the forum and need help, or if anyone else has had this problem maybe they could help?

Suddenly, my P200D - 139D stops working. Screen go blank and the computer becomes completely non-responsive and the only way to turn or back on is taking the battery and put it back.

It can happen after 1 min or 4 hours, no real reason for it at all.

Any help would be much appreciated,

    Thank you, Staunchie.

    Hello

Do you mean that the laptop stops automatically (power off) or the screen turns white?

If the phone would power off automatically then it would mean that the internal temperature has increased at a higher level and so the laptop would have powers off.
In this case, it s a good idea to clean the fans.

But it s really strange if only the screen turns off.
I ve no general solution to this but you should check if your BIOS and graphic card driver is up to date. If this isn't the case, then an update is highly recommended.

    Check it out!

  • Vista, why my cursor jumps around on the screen without reason?

Vista, why my cursor jumps around on the screen without reason?

You are using a laptop with a touchscreen?  Chances are good that you accidentally touch the touchpad while typing, and that moves the cursor.  Go to start / Control Panel / mouse and see if there are controls for adjusting the sensitivity of the touchpad or to disable the touchpad while typing.  Go to the web site of the manufacturer of your and download the latest device drivers, firmware, and software for touchpad you and your mouse (if you also have a mouse - you may have to go the manufacturer of the mouse for these drivers, if she did not come with the system).  New updates can offer options that did not exist before like the ones I mentioned.

This happened to me also and I bought a separate mouse and disabled the touchpad and the problem disappeared - but he had me past for awhile until I finally figured it out by typing differently (with my hands up higher so the Palms do not touch and had no problem).  Even if this isn't the problem, update the drivers, firmware or software can solve the problem on its own.

If none of the works above, we will need either to run a complete troubleshooting procedures (post back and I'll meet with them) or the touchpad or mouse is defective and must be replaced.  You can discuss these last with the computer manufacturer when you talk to them (if you talk to them).

I hope this helps.  If you have any questions along the way, come back and I'll do my best to answer.

    Good luck!

  • Screen turns blue and restart Satellite C850D-11 q

I bought a Satellite C850D-11 q runnings Windows 8 of Curry to the United Kingdom for my daughter just before Christmas - was a very good price £300 - however, she says that she will be surfing the internet and or do a variety of other tasks (no particular process does seem to be involved) and suddenly the screen turns blue and the computer will be closed and restart no reason apparent. He did at least 30 times per month.

BSOD means that there is a hardware problem or software problem.
The BSOD can be caused by high temperatures as well as problems of RAM.
So it's not easy to say what is causing the BSOD.

Make sure that this laptop is cooled properly.
In addition, if the temperature is not the problem, try to recover the system using the recovery options described in the user manual and in the present document:

    Hello world.
    I have a satellite 1800 - 752S.
Since an ew months ithas a weird problem: the screen turns off. If I press and release the button the lid on what it is, but after that turns off again quickly. OT goes off sometimes immediately, sometimes after a few minutes, or even hours. Sometimes it provides be when I run out of battery and bothers me on AC, sometimes against. It works fine, after I turn sleep or hibernation several times, and after a reboot, it bothers me. I've updated his BIOS for the lates on this site, which would not help. I guess it's a hardware problem, because it's the same problem under Linux, and I tried to install different versions of drivers and windows (not only the one of the recovery CD). Anyone have the same problem before. Any help will be appreciated.
    Thank you very much

    Hello

I think you're right, it's a hardware problem. But to be sure, try connecting an external monitor. If it works without problem while laptops, screen turns off, then it must be a hardware failure.

I guess it's a problem with the FL inverter. You have to give your machine a service partner Toshiba for repair.

Good chance that the heat is at least partially the problem.

Remove ALL power and remove and reinstall the memory - in fact, remove and replace - do
not just good warm. Make sure that the vents are clean and you can hear the fan sometimes work.
Try using a small fan blowing in or on the vents to remove heat as a problem.
