  A single improvement for me outside of the user interface is video playback is without freezing up to now which was kind of a big deal to me to the point 2.3.   Unless you purchase pre-installed Win7 you will get that "all benefits" the "Win7 EA. If you buy Win7 and install it yourself, most of the drivers (and BIOS) gives you access to some of the "EE Win7' (EDT: forgot to include: according to the model!)

  I m not an owner of the Satellite series but in my opinion with a 9cell battery you can more work on the mode of battery as with a battery 6 cells. So I think it also depends on the use of the laptop. I you use it often with AC/DC adapter I think that this upgrade is not so important.

• Compaq Presario F500 notebook computer Series Warranty Service improvement experience :-(

  Earlier Notepad Persario F500 I had stopped working.  There is no video on the computer LCD Panel or external monitor. The laptop turned on, the power LED lights up, but nothing has been seen on the screen. It was out of warranty by one year and I thought it was pretty much dead.  Someone else opened it to see if they could do something with it, but they couldn't.  Early last month, I discovered just by chance that HP had extended the warranty on these books and that my symptoms correspond to what is presented on the following link.

  I've never heard of this before, so I called HP support and the tech told me that the machine was still under warranty and the symptoms seem to fit the program.  A FedEx box was sent to him for a warranty repair.  An email was sent and a tracking number has been given to the area.  It arrived in two days.  I packed the laptop and sent him to HP.  A tracking number was given to me for this leg of the trip too.  He arrived at HP in two days.  The support that has been given has been updated to show the laptop had arrived and was being looked at by a tech.  So far, I was pleased with the way things were going.

  After about two days, the link was updeated and asked me to contact HP and charges of $429 has been issued. I called and customer service told me that service technicians found that the laptop was ben opens and some internal damage had occurred because of this.  Before the warranty work could be done other problems should be fixed.  I refused repair and told them to send it back.  On the rear view I should have started my argument with HP right there.

  The reason why the laptop has been opened in the first place was due to the fact that there was a problem and I knew it was out of warranty.  If I knew the warranty enhancement program before any damage could be because the laptop would never had been opened.

  The shipping to me was a bit mysterious.  No email or tracking number was never given to me for the return trip.  I called customer service three times and got three different stories on this.

  The first time I called customer service told me that the laptop was on his way back to gace me and they me two tracking to get numbers.  After that I tried these figures, it seems that it was for the box that was sent to me originally and the other was the number that was used to ship the laptop with me to HP.

  Yesterday I called again.  This time customer service could not find any current record of the laptop.  The representative thought that the laptop was probably still at HP where was the work of security without a damage that has been done when it was opened to the top of the mounting.  He told me to call back on Tuesday for an update.

  At this point, I was suspicious.  I decided to call again today.  This time the representative told the labor warranty and that he would be delivered back to me.  They said that an email would be sent to me with a tracking number for the return trip.

  Later in the day the phone was actually decreased from home by Fedex.  No warranty work were made.

  At this point, I'm very disappointed and confused.  It seems that representatives of clients, that I spoke none really knew what was going on with my laptop 100%.  The fact it was sent to me without an email or a tracking number is very disturbing.

  More I think about it more disappointed I am with HP in the handling of this case.  HP knows that laptop has problems and still not would repair mine since it was opened and damaged during this process.  The only reason why he opened was in first place because at the end of material he had and the fact that, as far as I knew, it was out of warranty.

  I hope really that someone in the 'food chain' at HP reads this and take history to heart.  Management at HP has to do a better job in such cases.

  Thanks for the clarification.  I understand that as well.  It's a shame that the video tape was damaged.  If I only knew the building ahead.  He could go in circles forever.  It's like what came first the chicken or the egg.  It's all water under the bridge now.  The laptop was separated out on ebay and I have two other laptops anyway.

Its basically an ipod touch at this point and should be replaced. My carrier is Verizon, and I noticed that I had insurance through asurion. However, the comments are not good - phones on back order, wait times long and sometimes even sent used/refurbished phones to nine. Im not sure if I want to spend with the presentation of a request and the franchise looks like it would be $170 - $200. IM willing to pay an extra $ 100 to get a new phone from Apple, but I want to make sure that im making the right decisions. Many complaints have been made in 2014-2015, so perhaps they have changed.

• Experiences of replacing motherboard

  So my new E540 boot - after that the 5th day I used it at all. All I get are two red power light. I tried a hard reset but it did not work. Call technical support first thing Monday. It's a shame as I like the computer and it took place just outside the fourteen day return window.

  Have you tried a hard reset, semil? If so, then you and I have the same problem. It's a dead motherboard. Fortunately for me, when I checked, my laptop has been delivered and died within the 14 day window, so it fits in their 'dead' on arrival policy

  I'm trying to replace. Here are the steps:

  -Call technical support in your country and record details
  -Send your proof of purchase (and proof of delivery if sent to you) to an email from tech support provided to you

  I have several questions about the latest Sony user interface I have now in my Compact Z5.

  1: I couldn't put a widget on the home screen. A simple widget like weather from yahoo and other weather apps I tried, cannot be put to the homescreen, I know why? U of N can solve this problem? I tried to restart n reinstalling, but nothing works.

  2: also, why in this user interface, everything all over again whenever the apps are interchaged.
  Example 1: I am reviewing my Facebook apps, then comes the WhatsApp notification, so I scroll to the bottom of the notification & view the. I would then go back to Facebook. Unfortunately, Facebook will begin again on the latest news of food. Why should not start from where I left off earlier? While I need not scroll down again and again to jump news feed I've been through? Because reconciliations apps is so common, and sometimes within seconds.
  Example 2: Sony support apps... You will also start across when switch apps. It will start all over again when I went to WhatsApp for awhile. If you need to redo everything again

  There is something in place, that's what I'd do. Fix the phone with PCC and only download yahoo widgets and report back, keep in mind that yahoo apps are poorly coded and create the offset on the phones.
