    Hello

It seems that your office has been changed to the classic theme.

What just happened when you started the computer? You have a selected Aero theme before this happened?

First, right-click on the desktop and select Personalize. Try to select one of the Aero themes to see if this solves the problem.

If this does not work, try to run the Aero troubleshooter.

    Run the Aero convenience store.

Open Control Panel and type Troubleshooting in the Search box.

    Select Search and solve problems.

Under appearance and personalization, select display Aero desktop effects.

In the Troubleshooting Utility dialog box, click the Advanced Options link and place a check mark in the apply repairs automatically option.

Click Next to start the troubleshooter.

    Let us know the results.

How can I find out what programs start or stop to start the computer? Now there's like 68 programs that start at startup of the computer, I know that this is the way to much, I just need if bought a laptop with windows7premium installed and the problem im having is that for a lot of programs running at startup the computer does runslow and being online is difficult. Can I just go back to the factory because im settings only to learn about computers. Any help would be late thanks all sorts niceome here

    Original title: need HELP

    Go in run and msconfig!

Under the control of services tab hide all microsoft processes
These are the programs that are running at startup you can go through the menu of your program and configure each individually to run at startup.
If you decide it's not worth having to go to control panel and then programs and then decide to uninstall the program.
If you decide to use your drive to factory restore do not forget to install the programs you need.

Type msconfig in the search on the left. Go to the Startup tab and disable that
you do not use. I disable all. You probably want to keep your
    Antivirus, etc.

  • What Microsoft Starter Pack?

Greetings, I've heard of 'Microsoft Starter Pack' and my company is interested in obtaining service, just I can not find a detailed explanation about that service and what exactly it serves businesses and how to get it, what is nature...

MS Office Starter is a cut from the version of MS Office 2010, containing the cut down versions of Excel & only Word.

It was only available preinstalled by the PC manufacturer in some versions of win7. He was not available on sale and has since been abandoned

  • Export a larger file than what I started with

Using Premiere Pro CS6, I try to understand why he did it:

I imported a video into a new sequence and made sure to match the sequence with the video settings.  I do a few basic changes (do not add more video or something like that) but when I choose to export media and to match the settings of the sequence, the video seems to have the exact same attributes as the original video (less my changes) except the size of the file is 2-5 x larger.

Does anyone have an idea why first done this?

    Thanks for any idea.

Only one resolution, cadence and NOMINAL.  Codec and bitrate do not play any part of the sequence settings.

  • Windows XP computer is slow to start and stop.

original title: PC is VERY slow

It takes awhile to start and turns off, surfing is quite slow as well. How do I speed it up?

Some reasons for the slow pace of the computer:

    1. computer has not been maintained - http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Maintenance

    2. the computer is infected with the malware - http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

    3. the disk is too full. Remove useless stuff, uninstall unused programs. Do not forget to save!
    http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Backing_Up

    4. flaky third party software. Toolbars and modules are particularly guilty in this area. Uninstall toolbars (Google, Yahoo, ISP brand, etc) and look at what modules are in use in your browser (s).

    5. computer has too many unnecessary programs/processes running in the background. Manage your Startup:

For XP - How to troubleshoot using the Msconfig in Windows XP utility - http://support.microsoft.com/?id=310560
The free Autoruns program is very useful for managing your Startup - http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/default.mspx

For Vista/Windows7 - Start Orb > Search box > type: msconfig and when it appears in the results area above, right-click and choose 'run as administrator '. Autoruns is also very useful.

    6. the user runs an inflated/invasive such as Norton and McAfee antivirus program. Replace it with a better program. I recommend NOD32 (commercial) or Avast (free). Avira is also good, but the free version has an unpleasant reminder screen (Google for instructions on how to disable it). The user can also run several real-time antivirus/firewall/security programs.

    7. the user has installed new programs that are processor and/or memory-intensive (Photoshop, AutoCAD, Mathmatica or similar) and does not have the power of the equipment.

8 drive fails and is in PIO Mode (IDE only - not applicable for disks SATA drives). It's very much slow (like being in 1985). See Hans-Georg Michna here information -http://winhlp.com/?q=node/10

If the hotfix registry PIO only 'glue' (or you have a SATA drive), the drive is probably faulty and needs to be tested.
    http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Hardware_Tshoot

In addition to the above, see also http://miekiemoes.blogspot.com/2008/02/help-my-computer-is-slow.html

Note: If the computer has always been slow, in addition to the above user may have bought a machine with a less powerful processor and not enough RAM (memory). The normal use of the computer, 512 MB to 1 GB is sufficient for XP; Vista should have a minimum of 2 GB; Windows 7 is less demanding than Vista, but the minimum of 2 GB should also be used.

  • Everything on my screen is enlarged, and some windows/programs do not properly fit because of that. What can I do to fix this?

I restarted, taken the battery, stop down and the problem persists. All my documents are completely expanded, I opened all the windows looks as if it is enlarged, but it is not. If I click on the maximize button, the window half fits on the screen.

You have poorly defined display resolution. A few reasons that this can happen:

    1. a person has played one more game and the game reduced the resolution.
    2. that you have installed a video driver from Windows Update by mistake - and it is always a mistake.
    3. the video card is a failure.

Since you did not provide a response to the first Question (see below), I can't guess what happened.

The first Question of troubleshooting: If the problem is new, what has changed between the time things worked and the time they do not have?

Try to set the resolution to the correct according to the instructions below. If this does not work, post is back with the answer to the first Question and some information about your computer (desktop? laptop? video card? monitor make/model, if your desktop?).

1 start Orb > Control Panel > appearance and personalization. Click personalization, click display settings.
    2. pursuant to the resolution, move the slider to the resolution you want and then click on apply.

  • start-up: how to stop my yahoo messenger and windows messenger from starting when signing

want to know how to stop my yahoo messenger and windows messenger from starting when signing.

It is always better to stop programs from starting with Windows from the programs themselves, so look in their choices first. There may be an entry in your start > programs > startup folder which can simply be removed. If a program does not offer a way to control the start-up of its preferences, use msconfig to clear the check box next to its name, apply and OK on. Also take a look in your programs > startup folder to see if there is an entry for the application it.

Start Orb > Search box > type: msconfig and when it appears in the results area above, right-click and choose 'run as administrator '.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue. Then see what is on the Startup tab. You don't need to restart immediately, but next time you do, you will get a dialog box saying that you have used the utility. Usually, it will be blocked by Windows Defender, and you need to allow it to run so that you can then check the box that says in effect, "don't mind to this subject again".

Important - do not use the System Configuration utility to stop the process. Use Services and stop all services, unless you really, really know what you're doing.
