What is the best way to detect if the device has a touch screen?

How do detect you if a device has a touchscreen with version 4.7 of the OS? With the upcoming 9630, that I need to know he can't stand not touch. Thanks for the help.

What is the best way to detect that the text typed by the user (or added programmatically) exceeds the available space container and find where the truncated part begins? There are others (as described below) highlights the easy way to detect or to prohibit controllers to receive more characters that can be displayed in the area of publication given?

My attempt partially (Simplified)

For example, lets say I have a textflow editable with joints two instances of ContainerController.

Use cases

I want to create the form to fill out. Field can have one or more lines. A field could start in the middle of the page, continue in the following line, where it spreads throughout the page and put an end to the third line - long quarter of the width of the page. Text typed by the user may not exceed given the region since it could cover some static text that is located just after in below field.

What are the devices will be extensible to OS 5.0?

Now that the OS 5.0 JDE Beta is out, I wonder when I'll be able to start using it. The question for me is what are the devices will be extensible to OS 5.0? I'm mainly interested in the enterprise space (upgrade via BES?), but the consumer (updates through carriers?) space is also interesting.

I have not seen instructions update. Have I missed them?

Please help me with the following information related to this issue:
1. You have installed the required software on your computer which came with Auntie Photon?
2. Do you see an error or exclamation point in Device Manager when you connect Auntie Photon dongle? See the steps to check:
- Press Windows Key + X.
- Select Device Manager.
- Check if there is no error or exclamation point under Auntie Photon.
This problem can occur if device drivers are not get detected or due to missing/corrupt device drivers.

Installed application:-installed Backup tool and IBM tape library connected by Cisco nexus switch

Summary:-each time the backup tool initiating any SCSI command etc. for library of tapes, just after a few minutes in the event log, server shows "restore the device, \Device\RaidPort1, has been issued." and the tape library configured in backup tool disconnected from the physical tape library.

Up to now steps below was taken but no luck:
1. test Unit Ready has been disabled in the registry
2 adapter ANC, fresh of zoning has been replaced.
3 firmware and driver from the adapter of the ANC has been updated.

Podcast OGG resume problems when the device has been turned off and on again

Even if the rocket + is listed as support AAC, it seems it does not support AAC files over a certain length, otherwise some file size. (Someone, is it a value of its own thread?)

For this reason, I need to convert some podcasts to another file format before listening. MediaMonkey standard appears to limit MP3 conversions (but I love the software otherwise) so I thought that I would like to convert it into OGG instead (and OGG seems to have a better rate of compression than MP3 anyway).

I found it by listening to these podcasts I can pause successfully to create a restore point, and when I come back, it takes up very well, as long as the device has not been driven off the coast between the two. If the unit has cycled and turn it back on, when I come back to try to resume, it tries (he lists even the index of screen time) but then says "no file type supported" and fails to resume. I tested on my old Fuze and do not have the same problem.

Others experiencing the same thing? I want to make sure that if it is just a simple bug of Sandisk is aware of this and can provide a fix in a future update.

BTW, I'm using firmware 1.32.00 (latest as of this post).

I did a clean install of Windows 10 and downloaded the drivers from dell.com.
I am also running Hyper-V.
I'm repeated warnings in my saying system Envent Viewer:

I had exactly the same problem on a lot of my dell systems. Here is how I solved the problem:

First we need to change ""AHCI Link Power Management " which is a setting hidden in power management." Open the registry editor and change the following settings.

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\0012ee47-9041-4b5d-9b77-535fba8b1442\0b2d69d7-A2A1-449c-9680-f91c70521c60

Change 1 to 2 attributes

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\0012ee47-9041-4b5d-9b77-535fba8b1442\dab60367-53fe-4FBC-825e-521d069d2456

And again change the attributes of 1 to 2.

Now, go to the Control Panel-> system and security control-> Power Options , click on "Change Plan settings" and then click on "change power avancΘs."

Now under "Hard disk", you should have AHCI Link Power Management - HIPM/DIPM and AHCI Link Power Management - Adaptive options.

Change the 'AHCI Link power management' active, meaning that there is no AHCI power management and finally change adaptive to 0 milliseconds (well if you have enabled "active" this option has no effect).

Finally under "PCI Express" change "Link State Power management" to OFF.

I installed an infusion of SSD and fresh install of Windows 7 64-bit, including the installation of Adobe CC with premiere pro and other related applications. My audio works fine, I have a portable speaker connected to the back of the audio 'line in the green plug' at the back of my office, have not had any problems with her.
However when opening Adobe PP for the first time I get the message "the device has changed and no output channel is present. You want to open the Audio hardware preferences. At the opening of the entry default preference reads "no devices available (does not). I was unable to change the value by default using the box entrance, but was able to change the default output. I changed the default output to ' speakers (device 2-high definition audio) and after that I got an error that read "sorry a serious error has occurred which caused Adobe PP stopped." We will try to save your work)".
Is anyone able to help with this, I don't know how to set up the audio setting is all new to me. Also do not know why this has happened given my audio works fine in any other program that I use on my pc. Any help from an expert on this forum would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Joel.

I received this message over and over again when you try to publish my iOS for the app store app (I use Flash cc AIR 3.9.1.1080 for iOS and my settings are: "unit test mode interprets", as my application uses several sovereign wealth funds).
I did everything from scratch, as recommended on the other sections forums: new app of my developer apple ID account, new Distribution certificates, new profiles of commissioning of the Distribution and nothing works.
I can install my app on my iPad if I use certificate and Provisioning profile development and everything seems OK. But as soon as I use the Distribution certificate and Provisioning profile receive the same message:

I've done everything since the beginning, over and over and nothing works. Am I the only one having this problem on Flash cc?

Hi sinious. Thanks for the reply. I'm on every aspect that you point out. I used 'Explicit ID App', I used the certificate with the appropriate PP. I got the cert on my mac and I was exporting with 'Keychain Access '. Finally, I found that I could generate and export a 'Distribution iOS signing authority' on Xcode. When I did, things worked again! Thank you.

What is the best way, during development, to detect the use of memory and other while the application is running on the device?
So you can test it and see if something is the cause in the wild. I do an iOS/Android device so I want to try on fast and slow both phones and I have a script which ' add on ' memory usage as long as the user continues. I would like for this monitor (app, or the debugger) to see what is happening.

Reader SDK: is it possible to see what text the user has selected?

I use Adobe Reader SDK with c#, by looking at the characteristics of communication monitor.
I can open a document in the reader and allow the user to the user the reader as select text tools, etc.
Here's the problem: I want my application to know what text that the user has selected. And I would like to know the name of the field that the user has selected, not only the text of the field.
PIA of Microsoft Office went something like this:
currentDocument.GetSelectedText ();
Is it possible to do with IAC or javascript or plug in the Player SDK features?
If this is not the case, can it be done with the Acrobat API? I've looked through the two sets of documents and have not found what I needed.

To write a plug-in for Adobe Reader, you will need to go through 2 separate steps.

Step 1 - Download the SDK Adobe Acrobat (from here http://www.adobe.com/devnet/acrobat)

and build your plugin against the Acrobat product, following the documentation to ensure that you use only the API that does not exist in the player program. The documentation tells you what version of the Adobe ACrobat program or Reader is required for the function and that the function can be called in Reader.

Second step: apply for a certificate of reader allow your plug-in to be loaded by the player, the link is on the same web page as the link above. This step can be started until you have created your plugin, and I recommend that start you this process before you develop your plug-in like Adobe may refuse to give you the certificate in which case your development would be lost.

Only once you have authorization form Adobe can you do your job of plug-in with the reader app.

Once you have done these two steps there are a lot of people on this forum who can help you with specific problems you may encounter.

If you are not sure of having the knowledge to build the plug-in, there are a lot of people that you can hire to create the solution for you.
