What s PCI LAN: IBA GE SLOT 0008 v1336?

Hello

In the BIOS boot priority, I can see this as selectable device, but I don't know what it is physically.

Maybe's Express card slot?

Nescio salvation!

This is the Ethernet port. It appears in the Boot priority to boot on your network.

I hope this helps!

  • HP Compaq 8100 Elite: Video unrecognized card in PCI-Express x 16 slot for security

I disable the PCI Express connector in the computer - security - Slot Configuration on BIOS.

I don't know that my card on Board did not work and now machine does not start, machine beeps 6 times (error video card).

    I can't access the bios.

I try to reset the CMOS, remove the Green rider, remove CMOS battery, press the button within 10 seconds, press the power button (to remove rest of energy.

    But none of it works.

    Can someone help me?

How can I reactivate PCI Express x 16?

    Hello:

If your integrated graphics card does not work, and reset the CMOS does not work, you can try putting the PCI express x 16 video card, you now have in the location PCIe White x 4 slot (slot next to the slot PCIe x 16 black white video card) and see if you can get into the BIOS to change the PCI x 16 setting.  It might work in the x 4 slot.

If it does not, you will need to install a video card PCI (the one that goes in one of the white PCI slots) and use it to get into the BIOS, so you can change the settings to enable the location of PCIe x 16.

So see if you can find a cheap, used, video card PCI on eBay, and should allow you to have the video again.

You should also make sure you have removed all the connections of the computer when you reset the CMOS (all cables, power supply, mouse, monitor, etc.).

  • Satellite A500-1GH empty what is PCI accommodation with sign JGPS

Almost a year ago, I bought a Toshiba Satellite A500-1GH.
I can't say that I'm not satisfied with the computer or the company.

The problems I had was the display problem (stops working for seconds) which was the problem of software (updated nVidia 8.16.11.8875) and with the HARD disk that works to stop but the company changed with a new one.

Now, I wanted to spend the second module of memory from 2 GB to 4 GB so I can have 2 x 4 GB, but when I open the memory compartment, I saw an empty PCI home with JGPS sign beside them.
Does anyone know what it is?

And if so what is the part number?
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi mate

AFAIK JGPS is a GPS connector.
Perhaps this connector would be shared by 3G miniPCI card.
AFAIK this Satellite A500-1GH not equipped with a 3G module and slot miniPCI is so empty.

    > And if so what is the part number?
I don't know the part number, but all parts can be ordered from local Toshiba ASP.

  • My m7680y can support graphics cards PCI requiring 2 screws/slots?

Or two slots? Im not sure what the technical term is... Im trying to buy a geforce 9800 and it requires 2 slots. I would like to make room for two slots after I remove my old pci card, but ill have come down the sound card. While matter where the sound card?

While there is great space (two locations), the case probably sleeps, assuming that there is nothing in the way insofar as this would be towards the front of the case.  I think the sound card works OK in any PCI slot, to answer your question on that.  The main concern I would have is the power that this video card is vs. What can provide the power supply.  When they start the list of food that is able to support the card, I start to wonder.  See here:http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_9800gx2_pwr_supply.html

I guess depends a little on which in this range of models (GeForce 9800), but you might want to consider getting a diet very capable before putting a card like this in you computer.

  • HP m8000: unrecognized in the PCI-Express x 16 slot video card.

I am upgrading to a former m8000. Hp already put a new 750 watt PSU in it Corsair and it does not always recognize any of 3 pci-e video cards I've tried. I already went into the bios and changed the video settings to pci-e and still nothing. Is there only certain video cards compatible with this thing or what. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much

This is because the latest gen video card is compatible with UEFI BIOS, not the legacy BIOS that has your PC.

The BIOS legacy do not see it as a gift.

You will need a video card that only inherited BIOS compatibility or that has a switch that allows you to group compatibility legacy BIOS and UEFI BIOS.   Sapphiretech of the 200 series r7 r9-300 series video cards meet the criterion.

  • Satellite P10 722: what Mini-PCI WLAN can I integrated?

    Hello

I have a Satellite P10 722. It seems to be ready wireless (it has an LED to show the WLAN activity). I would use an internal Mini-PCI card in it. Ideally, it would be a b/g card.

Anyone know what model/part number Mini-PCI card will work with this laptop.
She is not in the list of compatibility of the any of the maps on this page (http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/options_and_accessories_search.jsp?z=16&service=UK & selOptionCategory = 4696)

    Thanks for your help,
    Shane

    Hello Shane

Sorry, but this kind of information can give you just the authorized service partner. I don't know if the P10 722 is ready WLAN but you can check only. In the lower corner of the unit, you will find WiFi coverage. Remove it carefully and check if there are two antenna WLAN (black and white) cables. If so, the device is definitely ready WLAN.

Contact the Service partner and ask them for you to adapt to your model of laptop. As far as I know, the consultation is free.

Just for info. One of my friends has P10 with WLAN (802 11b Agere) card.

    Hello

You can find it by yourself! Go to Device Manager and select the area to network adapters network adapter.
Access the properties (right click) and you will get all the details about you LAN card.

  • PCI Express x 16 slot

I was just given an old computer a HP Pavilion media center PC a1340.  I have a 300w power supply can I get a video card PCI Express with HDMI connections? My computer is powerful enough for her?  Also if I can, what is the best I can?

    Thank you

    Sue, welcome to the forum.

Yes, you can use a discrete video card.  However, with the 300W PSU (PSU), you will be limited.  Newer cards require a power supply with a minimum of 400 w to operate correctly.

I ran a Power Supply calculator Newegg, based on the specifications of the computer, and you should have at least 341W to run one of the cards less.  There are some who require only 350W, but who always pushes your PSU.  It is very old years PSU and it cannot take the pressure.

I have to be honest, I don't want to see you spend your money on something that may not work.  I hesitate to make a recommendation.

    Hello:

I don't think that anyone will be able to answer this question with a correct answer of 100%.

You must look at the chipset and determine if these PCIe versions have been introduced.

Based on the chipset (G33), I would say that your PCIe location is v1.1, because Intel had slots capable PCIe 2.0 until the X 38 chipset was introduced.

You should find this article informative.

    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/PCI_Express

You'd probably be 100% sure to install a video card PCIe 2.0 on your computer subject to power supply constraints.

    Hello

My USB port of remaining work has now passed away, and I'm stuck because I can't print longer (especially children can not print their homework!) I discovered recently the understanding that I can get either the replaced motherboard (expensive so not an option!) or get a * card with USB ports * on what goes into the card reader at the front of the laptop?

No one knows exactly what I buy as all this seems quite complicated for me!

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you, Kerry.

    Hi Kerry

Can you tell us more about your Toshiba laptop?
    What model do you have?
Have you tested the functionality of all USB ports?
    How old is your laptop?
I want to say if the warranty is still valid contact the nearest Toshiba service and ask for help?

You have a new printer with WLAN indoors. If so, you can print using the WLAN connection.

  • Motorola wants $369 to repair what's their design fault (SD slot)

I don't know when I was so ticked with a company... Like others, I made the mistake of putting the SD card in the wrong hole, which is very simple to do. I sent it to Motorola... After a week they say I've damaged the slot and it will cost you $369 for repair. The reason why he went in the wrong location was because they had a transparent door that it was almost invisible.

I will NEVER buy another Motorola product. I'm not only the cost of the Xoom, I am the cost of the micro SD card.
