What small business routers support DHCPipv6-DP?

I have a rv042-g, which apparently does not support the DP. DP is necessary for subnets to connect your local LAN ipv6 addresses to the Internet.

(If there is a manual way to implement, I have not found it).

I intend to return or sell the rv042-g once I found a better router.

Looking through this thread suggests that it is supported on rv042 but not the rv180

  • One-to-one NAT and small business routers

Hello all, can anyone tell me if there is any router for small businesses that offer a NAT?

Here's what I do: I have several IP addresses public Qwest has given me. I have two servers that provide e-mail and web hosting for two different areas. I want to put the client machines on a LAN VIRTUAL (VLAN Z) and assign a public IP address (to separate traffic from the server). I want to put every server on its own LAN VIRTUAL (VLAN & XY) and assign to each its own public IP address server. I need the router to be able to provide a firewall and port forwarding for each VLAN. I also need to be able to carry traffic between VLANs for VLAN Z customers may access their e-mail and websites on VLANs X and Y. I have also need to be able to send DNS traffic between the VLANS so each server can provide resolution of names for their respective areas.

So, is this possible with a small business router or I have to watch something different? I am pretty sure that this configuration is not possible with my current Cisco RVS4000. What it boils down to is that I need a router that is able to have multiple public IP addresses on the same interface and pass the public addresses to subnets private VLAN. It would be a NAT, as I understand it... right?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

  • Is VLAN via VPN possible with any of the Small Business routers?

A tagged VLAN (for voice) will be routed through a VPN gateway to gateway on any of the Small Business routers, such as the SA520? This router is equipped

    Parameters of VLAN Trunking.

No, it is not possible to send traffic to vlan via VPN on a series of SA500, but you can create a tunnel for each subnet, you need to pass traffic.

    hope this helps,

  • What is the difference (other than the device/user limit) feature which would prevent me from installing this new software on Small Business Server 2003 R2 SP2, which 'requires' Windows Server 2003 Std Ed & SQL 2005 Std Ed 32bits. ?

Need to install new software to the main application. Software provider said Windows Server 2003 STD. Ed. • What kind of material I have to put in place a network of small business?

you have a small business with 4 desktop systems and 2 laptops mobile network. you want all of their network. What haredware would need to connect desktop computers and laptops to another so that they can share information?

Each computer will need a wired or wireless adapter. Depending on what cards you choose / have you'll need a router wireless and wired.

Since you have a laptop I guess they already have wireless adapters. In this case, you would want a wireless router. In my view, 802.11n, n being the important part, is the last great in the wireless.

  • What is 'Next Business Day Support'?

    Hello

I would like to know what it means 'Next Business Day Support'. Does this 'day business on-site"identical or something else?

For the moment, I'm interested a Latitude Dell laptop refurbished on the ebay.co.uk and the portable real is in the United States. The inscription says that there 3 years manufacturer's Dell warranty. When I asked the seller to this topic, what I are unclear responses.

"The way in which the guarantee was designed by Dell is that it must be registered using a USA based address."

Above was the first answer I got. And after further question, I got this.

"That's all this we know: according to dell it is: 'Next Business Day Support' January 2017"

I don't know what it means exactly 'Next Business Day Support'. I know that it guarantees are called 'Day working on-site' and "Next Business Day ProSupport", but never heard of "Next Business Day Support'. Is this something new?

As I am in the United Kingdom and the laptop is in the United States, the guarantee should be transferable after purchase. And I heard that only 'Service business day following on-site' is transferable on the international scene.

Could someone throw a light on the issue?

    Thanks in advance.

    LealMusic,

UK USA warranty transfer can be difficult on a system that we have sold. 10 x difficult for resellers. USA and UK guaranteed specifications differ and can not transfer. These ebay sellers move computers from one area to another without any real knowledge of our policies. You could get a laptop from them that initially sold off Japan Dell. My advice, find the phone you want on the Dell UK Outlet site, NOT a seller on ebay. Our site will explain your warranty offerings.

  • Cisco TelePresence Manager version 1.7 does support Windows Small Business Server 2008?

    Hello

Is Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2008 supported the Protocol LDAP, AD and MS Exchange server for Cisco TelePresence Manager version 1.7?

    Thank you

Hello Ahmed - although this configuration "can work", Windows 2008 Small Business Server is not on the support list. This means that it has not been tested and it certifies to work with telepresence.

To my knowledge, he's not on the roadmap for the future support however, I search and repost as soon as I have an answer for you.

  • Small Business VPN

The ultimate goal is to be able to access my intranet in my small business from a remote location. When I'm at the store, I can access the network through 'My computer' and see my network printer and files stored on the server. I want to be able to access this network from remote locations in order to then print in my store and work on projects that I recorded on my server. I work from my laptop to the home school, various locations, Hotels, etc. then what I understand will continue to change my IP address. If I am not mistaken, this means I have to start a VPN and open a DMZ. If anyone else knows how differently, please let me know.

I set up a virtual private network to my store on my work computer and set up on my laptop using the VPN Wizard in windows. But I'm short the problems getting through my router. I have Windows Vista Business on my work PC and windows home 7 on my laptop. The internet in router Belkin F9K1102 v1000 before going to my work computer and goes through an Actiontec GT701-WG gateway. Belkin support sent me the instructions to turn the DMZ and define virtual server ports. I think I have about this law, still trying to figure out the incoming port information they gave me because it has been translated into English by a computer program. They said four inbound ports allow and then gave me a bunch of numbers:

    TCP 1723 PPTP 443 SSL 10000
    UDP 1701 L2TP, 500, 50 & 51
Written just like that in the email. I recognize the TCP and UPD, just use the 1723 and 1701 and what are the rest of the numbers? Do I need to set up a DMZ on the bridge too? Any help would be appreciated.

The native PPTP VPN server on the Vista desktop needs than the TCP 1723 Port forwarded. Close the other ports. It said that there are also protocol 47 GRE traffic to pass through any firewall/router that VPN server is behind. Some barrier-lights/routers call Pass Through PPTP or VPN Pass Through or as the pass of Windows Firewall that automatically if the TCP 1723 Port is open. This page has troubleshooting at the end.

    http://theillustratednetwork.MVPs.org/Vista/PPTP/PPTPVPN.html

If any firewall/router does not pass the GRE protocol 47 traffic, you must replace the device or switch to a newer firmware to fix the problem.

Affecting the VPN server in the DMZ, he exhibited to the public internet. Normally I should not do so because of security risks.

An alternative might be to use the function of TeamViewer VPN. TeamViewer note is NOT free if used for commercial use.

  • Small Business Accounting 2006 for Vista download

I am trying to download my 2006 version of MS small business accounting on my NEW computer which has Windows Vista as operating system. I downloaded all updates and it still not open. I click on the software, and it shows that it is opening. Then he said that a problem caused the SMBA to stop working and MS will give you a solution for the program and it will stop runnng but then I don't get any information.
I checked all of the patches that I can find and that are related to this issue. Help! Thank you!

    Hello Miranda,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Community Forum.

Your version of Microsoft Small Business accounting 2006 is not compatible with Windows Vista.  You can view the compatibility of the software with Vista on the compatibility of Microsoft site. http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/search.aspx?type=software&s=small%20Business%20accounting%2023006&page=6

However, you are eligible for a free update to Office Accounting 2009 if you have a licensed copy of your software in 2006.  Existing customers who have a license for 2006, 2007 or Microsoft Office Accounting 2008 are entitled to a free upgrade of 2009 Accounting Office. Please refer to the URL below to determine your upgrade path.

    http://www.ideawins.com/upgrade.aspx

I have also included the link on how to upgrade to Office Accounting 2009. It is recommended that you back up your current data in Small Business Accounting 2006 before the upgrade. If your SBA 2006 should not be SP2, you may need to upgrade the service pack before the backup.

    http://www.ideawins.com/UpgradingFromSBA2006.aspx

Once you have upgraded and loading your data, you might want to consider uninstalling Microsoft Office Small Business Accounting 2006 (SBA). SBA uses an older version of SQL Server called MSDE (Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine), and that your computer will run faster if you uninstall SBA and MSDE.

Please post again if you have any questions or concerns.
