  If you use this amount of space on a Windows XP computer - it is * your * stuff taking up by.  Windows XP with * sorts * installed applications take about 10 GB of space - usually not much more.  The 'all kinds of applications' would include office suites, graphics suites, video editing suites, etc.  Is more likely, whatever it is above the mark of ~ 10 GB * your * stuff.

  You certainly can't avoid it! Each browser uses its own text engine and makes the fonts in its own way. You can only anticipate this behavior and choose your text blocks and policies accordingly. This, incidentally, causes me never (!) use justified text on the web, as you well obviously.

  Hi amireos,

  Yes, you can create your workflow where you can keep all your images on the external hard drive and the Lightroom catalog file as well.

  If you start with Lightroom and then use the Destination location as external hard drive when you import your image of the external source such as a camera or SD.

  If you already have your Images on the Mac HD drive, then play all your Image on the external hard drive first and then import images directly from there.

  Finally, you can change the location of the Lightroom Catalog as well.

  Default location: folder on the Mac Drive HD, there is folder called Lightroom that you can move on the external drive too (however catalog Lightroom can't memory space as its only import previews of the images is not the real image and full)

  Once you move the file catalog Lightroom external hard disk, then you need to browse the catalog file when you launch Lightroom only once.

  Where your LR catalog?  If it is on your C drive, additional space only on C should be for the information added to the catalog and previews, which must be low, unless you generate 1:1 previews, which can be larger and take more space.

  I think you're right for the size of the disk. It is just too small by today's standards. Fortunately, I have another hard drive which is a direct copy of the computer as a back up. I hope that I can copy my files to a larger drive and solve the problem.

It's great news for our community, and I tried to send copy of news to our regional newspaper online. Idiscovered that all my "hotmail" account passwords is over worked. Then I reset passwords for each of them over the next few days and discovered that the new passwords do not work, or they would work during a day, and then the passwords would not work the next day. Even more confusing was the fact that one of the passwords from the original account has started working again, even after I had changed the password on it! I took the window of opportunity to apply online for assistance. I received a number of responses with PIN to grab, to a "windows live (hotmail) private forum." However, this process did not work for various reasons. Perhaps, for those three confused accounts password reset Microsoft System for account recovery. But the resets a lot were the result of having none of the passwords work, even after reset. I took the last email I received from Microsoft, clicked on the link to access the page where I could enter the PIN, to take on the private forum. The screen said that the email "was no longer valid," even if I replied to the email within 24 hours (I think...) I have entered my PIN anyway and arrived at a page that directed me to "private forum", only it was no 'private' forum, or is it possible to get it to him. There was no sense and no link to access. I am directed to a page of windowslivehelp General to "create a new user profile." I have three that I can't access. I entered the emails of non-working and my personal information. The message returned to the statement that "a user with this (email,... or something like) already exists." It's that I got. If I can't navigate to a "private hotmail forum" to get a response to my email; and if the technicians e-mail can't me and doesn't work when it is not, how to solve the lock-out of e-mail? A cat live would be the best solution. I understand that pay for MSN email comes with live phone support, but I have not yet registered for this service. Yes, there is a live chat page that can help with the problem of hotmail? Is there a way that I can read a specific answer to my specific problem? I still have to find an answer to this question. And finally, the fact that SOMETHING is put out that my Security Essentials at random times doesn't help. Security Essentials scans aren't picking up any viruses. However, this problem is recurring and has been for about the last two months. Even MS technicians checked the system configuration settings to ensure that engaged, and it is. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Today, I have not checked remaining two hotmail accounts that appear to have been recovered. So, maybe I can receive e-mail from MS in my hotmail alternate accounts. However, the main account which I use only for correspondence of Microsoft, is still inaccessible and probably still not guaranteed. Advice appreciated.
