I want to add lights to he image - and to inform the parties of the image - I duplicated the layer add the lights in the filters, but it does not act as a process additive-

Check out this tutorial from Phlearn on YouTube. It is a bit more flexible, but, of course, requires a bit of elbow grease more Photoshop-wise.

Using this technique, you can adjust the 'lights' as you want by manipulating setting masks. See screenshot below. (Still once again, excuse the butchering.)

  • What type of DVD should I buy to burn my Windows Movie Maker movie? Also, I have Windows DVD Maker, but no DVD burner. What should I buy?

    I created a movie in Movie Maker.  I bought some DVD + r's - the correct burn the movie on?  Also, I don't have a burner, I thought that I did, I can only burn a CD what should I buy?  I don't have a Windows DVD authoring program.

    Hi rondah,.

    Welcome to the Microsoft community newsgroups.

    The type of recordable DVD, you need to use depends on your DVD burner, as well as on your DVD player. Some DVD burners can burn only to certain types of DVD recordable. For example, with some DVD burners, you can only record to DVD + R discs or DVD + RW or DVD-R or DVD - RW discs, while some other DVD burners will let you burn on all of these recordable DVD types.

    As long as your DVD burner supports burning to these types of discs, you can use Windows DVD creation to burn a DVD using one of the following types of recordable and re-recordable DVD media: DVD + R, DVD + RW, DVD - R, DVD - RW, and DVD - ROM. These recordable or rewritable DVDs can be either simple single laminate or single sided double layer.

    You should also consider the device you're using to play the DVD once you have engraved, if possible. Some DVD players and DVD - ROM drives play only certain types of DVD. To determine what types of DVDs your DVD player or DVD - ROM drive can play, see the documentation that came with your device or go to the manufacturer's Web site.

    In the manuals of the user to the page 29 s, I found the info you need active 3D glasses with the FPT-AG03 part number.
    To be honest I m wondering really none of them came with yor TV.

    In any case, use this part number and you can separately order 3D glasses.

    Good luck and enjoy your 3D TV.

    Companies can almost certainly view or the other guy, but a pdf file
    should be better for documents. A jpg file is almost never used

  • What storage system RAID should I use?

    To prepare the ground here. I'm a bit of a newbie to the video industry. I worked as a videographer for a non-profit for 5 years. At this job, we have skimped just by on what we could afford, which wasn't much. I just started a new job 'professional level' for a school district and received the keys to a budget large enough to get everything I need to do the job.

    I want to do right by them and not waste money, so I want my purchasing decisions to be educated. I'm an intermediate computer user, but have never used before raid configurations, so please be nice. In addition, you can really only buy through a few providers. B & H are where I get all my other video equipment, so I seek only to options available there for my needs of storage as well.

    Now check us cameras model Canon XA10 and XA20. I'm hoping to move to the XF300 for this new budget, but still we are talking only about the MXF files, 1920 x 1080 at 50 Mbps, 4:2:2. So I do not face huge uncompressed images.

    I always save a good amount of film. In the first 2 months to work, I have accumulated about 460 GB of raw video, and I do not expect demand to go down in the future.

    Right now, my idea is to buy two matrices of 12 Western Digital in Raid 0 to Raid.

    http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1053138-reg/wd_wdblwe0120jch_nesn_12tb_my_book_duo.h tml

    (I should note that I'm using a Windows 7 PC, so I don't have access to USB 3.0, a Thunderbolt)

    The first matrix raid would be my drive to work, the second would be used for the manual backup at the end of each day. (With the help of a utility like SyncBack)

    Once my projects are finished, and I don't know that I will not need to access, I would like to take away them to a 3rd RAID array as this set upward in Raid 5 for redundancy.

    http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1018063-reg/owc_other_world_computing_mercury_qx2_4 _ by_hw.html #specOWCM3QX2K0GB

    This table would be used mainly as a unit of archives, with only occasional wire transfers to it and use, in rare circumstances only, where I need to access several sequences of months.

    Do you have any suggestions for a better system or workflow?

    Thank you very much!

  • Satellite L500-19 X - what speed of DVD should I use?

    Having just bought a laptop, as above I am faced the question of how fast DVD to use.
    John Lewis PC after sales help service advised me that time 16 DVD sometimes causes trouble and I should get 8 X and use them if possible even if they say they are now almost as rare a hens teeth. Say them a 16 X can be OK but X 8 would be more reliable.

    I have not started my laptop but as am waiting for supply of X 8 I found on Ebay as recommended DVD-R NOT + should be used. I see that the disc tray is marked rewritable + leading to more confusion.

    Make a copy of the operating system upon receipt of the X 8 and not before.

    All advice or comments would be most appreciated

    For a long time, I always use the same DVD and I have never, but never really noticed some problems burning, especially not to create recovery media.
    I use TDK DVD-R 1-16 x speed empty media.

    What type is the G1X51ET contain, it's always the same type that is shipped?

    Or how can I check that myselvess?  Found nothing in the BIOS or in Windows System.

    You can download HP Performance Advisor and run it on your Z230, then read the configuration report and determine the type of memory DIMM is installed.

  • Re: Should what type of HARD drive I use to replace the 20 GB on Satellite 1400-103?

    Dear Sirs:

    After many years, my S1400/103 still offers me a great service.
    I wander if I change the hard drive with a larger and possibly faster compatible unit.
    You will be please so kind and remind me of the motherboard/bios card limits, if any, about HD drive geometry?

    Any limitation applies to the speed of rotation of HD?

    My BIOS version is 1.30 (02/07/2002)
    Model number is PS140E-03CSQ-IT

    Thank you for your attention

    Usually, the BIOS on different computers Toshiba Notebook doesn t recognize and support all HARD drive sizes. The laptop supports hard disks from 20GB. So, in my opinion you might also try to insert a 60 GB IDE (ATA - 4) HARD drive.

    The rotation is not very important. I think that the laptop should support 4 200 rpm and 5400 RPM hard drives too.

    As others have said, your question is not very clear.

    There are many aspects and angles to look at what you're asking.

    First of all, a level superior, the sum function simply takes a numeric value as it's argument, so all of these examples you gave have expressions that evaluate to a numeric value to be provided to the sum function. (As someone else already mentioned you can have non-numeric data types, just as long as they can be implicitly converted to a numeric value).

    A statement analysis and the point of view of enforcement, the content of the expression inside the brackets is evaluated before being passed to the sum function. It is not the function sum that he himself takes the expression and evaluates it. The sum function is expecting just a single numeric value.

    Internally, what the function sum is the case, is more than just a single... call function and return a value, because it faces several values being passed in the aggregation group. As such, it must have the ability to know if to start in short, is to accept several input values, so he can add them together, you know give up adding entries and pass the result to the back.

    If we write our own defined aggregate function (others have already provided a link to explain this) we can see what is happening internally. In the following example, we'll write a function defined by the user that multiplies the values rather than the amounts...

    create or replace type mul_type as object(
      val number,
      static function ODCIAggregateInitialize(sctx in out mul_type) return number,
      member function ODCIAggregateIterate(self in out mul_type, value in number) return number,
      member function ODCIAggregateTerminate(self in mul_type, returnvalue out number, flags in number) return number,
      member function ODCIAggregateMerge(self in out mul_type, ctx2 in mul_type) return number
      );
    /
    create or replace type body mul_type is
      static function ODCIAggregateInitialize(sctx in out mul_type) return number is
      begin
        sctx := mul_type(null);
        return ODCIConst.Success;
      end;
      member function ODCIAggregateIterate(self in out mul_type, value in number) return number is
      begin
        self.val := nvl(self.val,1) * value;
        return ODCIConst.Success;
      end;
      member function ODCIAggregateTerminate(self in mul_type, returnvalue out number, flags in number) return number is
      begin
        returnValue := self.val;
        return ODCIConst.Success;
      end;
      member function ODCIAggregateMerge(self in out mul_type, ctx2 in mul_type) return number is
      begin
        self.val := self.val * ctx2.val;
        return ODCIConst.Success;
      end;
    end;
    /
    create or replace function mul(input number) return number deterministic parallel_enable aggregate using mul_type;
    /

    For example, our user-defined aggregate function is based on a total object type.
    This object keeps a value ("val" in our example).
    It has an Initialize method, so when the SQL engine indicates that this is the beginning of an aggregation of values it can set its value to an initial value (in this case zero).
    It has an Iterate method, the SQL engine passes the values to it in the context of all grouped values, it can treat them (in our case it multiplies the value of entry with the value already there for this game of aggregations (and takes a value of 1 for the first iteration basis))
    She has a Terminate method, so when the SQL engine indicates that the global set of values is completed, it can return the result.
    The last method there is a merger and is mandatory, so that when the aggregation is done parallel assessment tool (for better performance internally), the results of these parallel executed aggregations can be combined (see http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/appdev.112/e10765/ext_agg_ref.htm#ADDCI5132). As we are multiplying numbers, in our case, it is simply a case of the multiplication of one single result with each other.

    And to see that it works...

    SQL> with t as (select 2 as x from dual union all
      2 select 3 from dual union all
      3 select 4 from dual union all
      4             select 5 from dual)
      5  --
      6  select mul(x)
      7  from t;

        MUL(X)
    ----------
