When I open the new Windows Live Mail on my laptop I click the butten to open, it opens OK, but I can get the screen to connect. Surely the signature in the form should appear first before the opening of the post office? I had 3 different email addresses which can all be read before I connect. • Windows Live Mail 2012 is not saving sent Messages - 8 victory

Recently my laptop was stolen and had to get a new.

Fortunately, I had everything backed up with mypcbackup.com, so not too lost.  However, I have major issues with Win Live Mail.

    1. saved messages are not saving to sent mail.  The boxes are checked.  I checked that "show all messages" is the parameter.  I tried to change the folder to mail to a new charge storage and empty one.  Nothing works.  Someone said that the parameters of time and the region can effect.  Mine are set for time and my correct location even though when I bought the laptop, it has been the standard we TZ rather than my local Malaysia.  This cause a problem?

It is to save the gmail and hotmail sends properly.  Just having problems with my computer and business correspondence which are not mainstream, but have been well until the new laptop to work and win 8.

2 I had restored my backup of emails in mail storage folder, but none of them are picked up by Win Live Mail.  This is very important because it's the last 4 years of work e-mails.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help solve these issues.

    Hi Mattkerr,

I suggest you to uncheck the option to save the messages in the sent items folder. Restart Windows Live Mail, and then check the new option, clickapply , and then click OK.

Also try to rebuild the Windows Live Mail folder and check if this solves the problem.

Step 1: Rename the Windows Mail folder and create a new folder

    a. exit Windows Live Mail.

    b. find the folder of Windows Live Mail .

    It is usually located in:

    C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Microsoft\

    c. right click on the Windows Live Mail folder and then click Rename.

    d. Add old at the end of the name of the folder so that the folder is now named Windows Live Mail.old.

Step 2: Create a new Windows Live Mail folder and copy the contents of the previous folder.

    a. start Windows Live Mail so that it can automatically create the new Windows Live Mail folder, and then quit Windows Live Mail.

    b. find the new Windows Live Mail folder to confirm that his creation.

    It is usually located in:

    C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Microsoft\

Note If the new Windows Live Mail folder is compressed, you must unzip this file. To decompress, right click on the Windows Live Mail folder, and then select extract.

    c. open the Windows Mailold live folder.

    d. open the Local folder and copy theaccount {xxxxxxxxxxxxx} .oeaccount . Notice thatxxxxxxxxxxxxx represents numbers or letters.

    e. Paste the file in the Local folder in the new Windows Mail folder (that was created in step 1 of this procedure).

    f. If the following folders are present in the Windows Live Mail.old folder, copy each folder and paste it into the new Windows Mail folder.

    o stationery

    Microsoft o community

    g. close all folders.

Step 3: Import messages in Windows Mail

    a. start Windows Mail.

    b. import the messages into the previous Windows Mail folder to the new folder. To import the messages, follow these steps.

    i. click file, point to importand then click Message.

II. click Windows Live Mail in Select a programand then click Next.

III. click Browse, select the Windows Live Mail.oldlocation and then click Next.

IV. click all folders inSelect the folderand then click Next.

    v. click Complete, and then the messages will be imported in file imported.

    c. place the messages that have been imported into any folder to the folder appropriate under the Local folder. For example, move messages in the Inbox under the imported folder folder to the folder Inbox under Local folder.

    d. check if blocked messages are deleted. If this is not the case, try to send or delete messages.

I hope you look at the responses from the support staff to "cannot display" question to WLSC.  It's going to be a long term job, I think. The iPad experience was conducted using the same Internet connection or another?

I'm sorry, it will take an expert in demystifying the WLMail journal to address the problem of calendar. It is quite common, although I suspect that the message "corrupt data" covers a multitude of different errors. They should have enough cases to be able to say what the problem is, but they are so starved of resources that I doubt that anyone has attended the.

    Just to understand it

    I had to change smapi.dll

Current version on the computer: 15.4.3538.513

I searched the Internet and found an another smapi.dll versioned 14.0.8117.416

Replaced original smapi.dll in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Windows Live\Mail\ and everything started working. not sure if this is a bug in the most recent version of the dll, but it works with the older ones.

    Hope that will help someone.

2 day old laptop, what you have done for her? If MSUpdate does not either you messed around with the settings for the laptop or theres some problem with her fundimental.

You might be better advised to restore to "as provided" with your recovery CD, then when his kick, change the settings for important MSUpdate updates ONLY. Then when the system is completely updated PC operation check * before * you try to install all software. (It's not a system restore)
