When I install iTunes Windows Installer closes
I just installed Windows 10 Pro x 64 and am trying to install iTunes, but every time I try to install the windows installer just closes. All I see is the Green loading bar when you open the executable first, but this is when it crashes.
Help is appreciated,
Sam
For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.
Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.
More information area has direct links with the current and recent buildings if you have problems to download, must revert to an older version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for old video cards) as a workaround for problems with installation or operation, or compatibility with QuickTime software or a third party.
Backups of your library and device should be affected by these measures but there are links to backup and recovery advice there.

Hi, I tried to update my iTunes a day and when he made an error appeared. Now, today I uninstalled both iTunes & Quicktime, I don't remember what the first said (before finding out the programs were installed yet) but after I went back uninstalled them I tried to reinstall again (in the hope that it would work) and this message popped up.
The installer has insufficient privileges to access this directory: C:\Program Files\Quick Time\QTSystem. The installation cannot continue. Log in as administrator or contact your system administrator.
* I'm already logged as administrator.
Could you please help me understand what the problem is? Thank you!

Hello
I was offered an upgrade of windows 10 on my laptop that is running windows 7, but my wifi button was not working when I installed 10 windows so I started 7 what can I do? It is an Acer Aspire 5920 G (old enough)
Thank you.
There could be a problem with the wifi driver that comes with Windows 10. I think that you first need to find the right driver for Windows 10 on the Acer site. Otherwise, you may need to install a usb wireless card.
Thanks for reading.

Still trying to install a printer from Eastman Kodak to a computer that was just recovered. I have new versions of Windows Insataller and the third-party software for the printer. However, even when I put the installer on "automatic" and "start" the service, it won't stay like this. I run regedit, msiexec.exe / unregister and msiexec.exe/regserver. Nothing happened. I checked the system had full access to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT. no problem. I ran chkdsk. Hard drive looks very good.
I need a response that I'm getting a little irritated that something as simple as install a printer should take this amunt of work. Oh, BTW, running Windows XP Home Edition, 2004 computer version. I don't know if this helps or not. The only thing I'm NOT willing to do is another system of recovery. That's how I got here in the first place. So, if anyone out there has suggestions, ideas (no matter how strange), ar solves this problem, I would greatly appreciate a response.Thank yousongtothesirensHello
Re-install Windows Installer and see if it helps.

TurboCAD Pro 14.2 fails to install because Windows Installer problem.
Problem installing Windows
I TurboCAD Pro 14.2 and I was forced to get a new key of Activation of IMSI, as I have lost the original. After with the new key of Activation Windows Installer contains TurboCAD for about half an hour before I give myself the opportunity to cancel the installation program or continue with it. Only when I opt to cancel TurboCAD works. I tried to run Microsoft Fix - it, which tells me that there is nothing wrong with what on the system, and I tried to remove and reinstall the program does not. Also, I spent about two weeks of work, by electronic mail, with the team of the IMSI and beyond them telling me to use a utility windows install cleanup which no longer exists, nothing materialized. I am running Windows XP SP 3; can someone help me with this? All constructive comments will be appreciated: thank you.For all those who have offered suggestions that I found the answer. It seems that the whole problem is the consequence of a file named SetPdb14Pro. I found the file among those on my Add/Remove panel. Once I removed it the package worked without a hitch and it did not return because I now use my original password installation discs and activation code. Here is a month lost because I don't watch carefully before I made a leap.

When I start XP, Windows Installer wants to launch Sonic Module of Activation
When I start it up, Windows Installer wants to launch Sonic Module of Activation... it stalls when it tells me to install the CD (which I did not)... Then I must cancel at least six times before I can use my computer... what gives? How can I get rid of this?
* original title - how can I get rid of the sound Activation Module at startup? *
Download Autoruns from Microsoft:
Autoruns: <> http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902 >
Run the program. It will give you a list of everything that is running when you upgrade Windows. Start with the 'Connection' tab and see if you can find any startup item that corresponds to your Sonic Activation error. Then simply uncheck the box in front of him and put an end to the program.

Run the scan tool (SFC) System File Checker and check if it helps.
