  Update

  I understand why internal webcam not found.   All I had to do was install cyberlink 1002 Hp drivers and reinstall the Applications.

  As I understand it there is only one two cyberlink reinstalls one is 3.5 and the other is 1002.

  Both on the same page 1002 is located about 15 lines under the first.

  Restore point:

  Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

  Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

  Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

  If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

  Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  Download the Vista software from the link above.

  After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.

  Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.

  Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1^st in the boot order.

  Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.

  When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.

  Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.

  Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).

  Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.

  I have a laptop HP Pavilion G7 1150US who does not win 7. I tried everything from formatting the hard drive with a clean installation of factory recovery disks and ran all the tests of hard drive Diagnostics and they have passed with flying colors. I myself to make a new record hard but if the hard drive says that there is nothing wrong with the disk I want to at least know what I can do to repair the disk, so it does not work properly. Help, please.

  Start DBAN disk usb or CD. He will write the zeros and ones on the disk. If past all the diagnostics of hard drive, this should do the trick.

  Hi, I have Windows 7 running on a new 4330 s HP's ProBook. I find when I open a window envelope program flashes of clear color. When the computer has started in safe mode the flashing stops. When we run the Task Manager and look under the processes tab, I see that the file named ReStart.exe is disappear and reappear when I try and stop the process, I get a message window titled terminate treatment impossible and the message in the window's "the operation could not be performed. Access is denied. Can anyone help that when the window is flashing the program will not respond to mouse clicks and keyboard entry. I ran virus with Trend Microsystems and AVG free version checks, but I still have this problem.

• HP Pavilion dv7-6c67nr: indicator of Volume and brightness does not

  I saw this problem in other threads, but none that are up to date.

  This happened to me often, noise indicator and light suddenly stops working. I also have audio Beats on my laptop. I have the keys f2 and f3 for the brightness and f9 and f10 to volume.

  Many of the other threads recommending the reinstallation or update of the IDT Audio driver. By using this site, I've updated the audio driver but still indicators are not displayed.

  Now what should I do?

  Looks like you have is connected wrong charger (you have an older Mac in the House?) or the charger has been damaged. Perhaps the magnetic head is damaged.

  You have another mac or a friend with a mac that has the same charger if you can try that?

  You can certainly buy replacement chargers, but I recommend that ensure you it is the charger that is the first problem to avoid spending money. If this is a problem with the port on the Mac, then a replacement charger will not help.

  If you don't have a 2nd charger to test, you can take your Mac at the Apple Store or your local electronics store that sells Macs and ask to try the plug one of their display models.

  There may be a program to interfere with Parental controls so that we can try a few things to see if we can determine the application or program that is causing problems.

  First of all, we run System File Checker to see if you have a corrupt file system.

  • Click Start
  • Click on all programs
  • Click Accessories, and then right-click on the command prompt.
  • Select the Security tab and choose "Run as Administrator"
  • Click on command prompt
  • Type SFC/scannow.

  It will scan and repair any damaged operating system files.

  To determine if there is a program because of a conflict, we recommend that you perform a "clean boot" of the computer. A clean boot is designed to disable programs and services in the background as much as possible. This helps determine which service or program can be the cause of the problem.  For more information about how to perform a clean boot for troubleshooting, click the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base.

  I have a hp pavilion dv7 1245dx. Recently, during internet browsing, the system closed and restarted in protect mode. I selected the default option (start windows normally). He started and has worked well for several minutes until the monitor when black. All the lights etc are a turned on normally but there are two small white lights (one to the left of the keyboard and a keyboard above on the right that flash constantly a repetitive pattern of four flashes.) I tried the food forced down and waited a while and restarted. The screen is dark with all of the other lights on and the flashing sequence continues of four flashes on keyboard. • Pavilion DV7: How to make windows 10 talk to external monitor?

  I changed my Pavilion DV7 (product # ww185av) from Windows 7 to Windows 10.

  Since then, the laptop appears on my external monitor (HP x 2511).

  The screen remains black.

  Laptop computer connection and monitor worked very well just before the switch.

  If I P-window and choose "duplicate", the laptop tells me that I don't have the optimal resolution and it changes the screen resolution of mobile, but the external monitor stays black.  Somehow, I found once a "detection" option to get another monitor, but windows cannot find a second monitor. I tried to re-allocation of places the connection htmi several times.

  I suspect the video driver, because my laptop wonder is no longer on whether I want to change GPU when I plug/unplug power supply.  I suspect that it is running low power GPU, and he never liked talking to the screen when executing that GPU.  But I have not found a panel that allows me to spend.   My video drivers are updated according to windows and hp advisor software.  Some HP site says that HP does not support windows on machines more than 10 2 years, one of which is mine.

  Any thoughts on how to get the laptop to talk to the screen?  Should I just go back to Windows 7?

  The expert event is over, no one offers a 'plan B', and my Windows 10 grace period is exhausted.

  I came back to Windows 7 and my monitor works fine again.
