Hi Rgh1113,

  • What is the brand of computer and what is the model number?
  • Exactly how you did update the drivers?

a. Click Start and click Run.
b. in the run box, type appwiz.cpl, and then press on enter.
c. in the Add / Remove Programs, select the software for the graphics card.
d. click on uninstall or remove.

Step 2

Remove the display drivers in Device Manager.
a. Click Start and click Run.
b. in the run box, type devmgmt.msc, and then on enter.
(c) in the Device Manager window, expand display adapter.
d. Select the display driver installed and right-click on it and click on uninstall.
e. restart the computer.

After the reboot allows the computer load generic drivers and then check if the problem is resolved.

You can also contact the computer manufacturer and are looking for the latest drivers on their site and try to download and install, and check if it helps.

I hope this helps. Let us know the results.

    Hi DRhatje.

Hello and I hope that your well today. Thanks for your post.

I think it's a pretty good translation, the error message I thought lie in the below knowledge base article.

The cause suggested for the error is that the IMAQ.exe is defined (by default) to boot at startup. But if you don't have a capture framer installed on the machine card then we could well see this error. The solution is to delete the exe file of the list on your system. The steps to do this is listed in the link below, but in short.

Section in the screenshot you sent me, you should be able to select the "selective startup", then go to the "Startup" tab and uncheck the IMAQBoot.exe.
If this restores the default settings on reboot, it's probably an indicator that your administrator rights on this PC are limited.
I think that a quick way to check is to go to start > run and type "regedit". It is essentially a more advanced method to handle similar settings, but if you do not have Admin on the PC rights then you would most likely be denied access. In all cases, ask one of your colleagues in COMPUTING to use their passwords and change this setting. It will get rid of this warning you are seeing until you start to use our materials of industrial Vision and need to reactivate it.

Make sure you click on 'Apply' before leaving this utility.

Why do I get "IMAQBoot.exe - Entry Point not found" error when I restart computer?

    http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/AD70B1036D5B950B8625752400578CFE?OpenDocument

This should at least remove the error message when starting upwards.

Please let me know how you and I hope this helps!

    Hello

Make sure you have the Superfetch service running and then try to speed up the startup using my guide [1]. This causes the prefetcher in Windows 7. This increase startup performance a lot. All other tweaking tools are useless. Use this method only with this Toolkit from Microsoft.

If it is not to speed up the startup process, follow my guide [2] to do a followed by start-up and compress the boot_BASE + CSWITCH + DRIVERS + POWER_1.etl RAR or 7z and transfer it to your Skydrive [3] and post the link here.

  • Noron 360 sometimes cannot be started on Windows 8 when starting after a stop!

    Hello

I have a desktop computer running Norton 360 first Edition version (current) 20.4.0.44 with the latest definitions for viruses on Microsoft Windows 8 Professional with Media Center. Norton 360 , sometimes fails to start on Windows 8 , when starting after a stop.

Since I first installed the new version of 'version-less' 2013 Norton 360 on Windows 8, it sometimes does not start at startup after a stop and did not bother to mobilize support for that matter because I thought that Symantec or Microsoft could be aware of the problem and that an update or a patch will be available soon. Norton 360 prompted me to apply a new patch today, and after applying the patch, I have realized that the amended version of the version 20.3.0.36 to version 20.4.0.44. Moreover, I also noticed that the aforesaid problem with Norton 360 persists, and if my memory is good, Norton 360 sometimes also does not start after the resumption of hibernation. I used to put the computer to sleep and I never have this issue when hybrid sleep. For Norton 360 upward and run again, I usually just give the computer a reboot.

I believe that the function "quick start" in power options Windows 8 are originally Norton 360 sometimes fails start. I haven't noticed this problem on computers that are running Windows XP or Windows 7. If Symantec or Microsoft may arrive at a solution to this problem without having to turn off the quick start of Windows 8feature, I would be very grateful!

    Kind regards

    Hi Doug,.

Kindly let me know what Norton product, you try to use, and if download you the latest version of the internet, or you install a version earlier than either downloaded or a disc? Please also post the specifications of your computer and operating system incl. architecture and the edition you are running.

Regarding your question: are you affected by the same problem that I did? Only Norton only lack of start from time to time, or Norton fails it run continuously?

If Norton sometimes does not start on a computer that is running Microsoft Windows 8:

Disable the "quick start" function in Windows 8 by going to the bar of charms > settings > Panel > material and audio > Power Options > Choose this as the power button , then click on change settings that are currently unavailable, uncheck the enable fast start (recommended) and click on save changes. Restart your computer to test if Norton starts up. If Norton still does not start, uninstall Norton completely, restart your computer, download and run the latest version of Norton removal tool from Symantec website, computer restartyour once more. Then download the latest version of your Norton product either downloading the trial, or you connecting to your Norton account if you have a valid subscription and clicking on the button to download next to your subscription. Install the latest version of your Norton product and manually run the direct updated until all the updates and hotfixes without restarting have been installed and no updates are available before stopping or restarting your computer!

If Norton does not at all on a computer running Microsoft Windows 8:

Uninstall Norton completely, restart your computer, download and run the latest version of the Norton removal tool from Symantec website, computer restartyour once more.

Please feel free to ask me more questions about, or contact me if you have problems, uninstalling, reinstalling, downloading, install the latest version of your product, Norton , or if you are having trouble updating your Norton product! I would also gladly provide via TeamViewer remote assistance, if you need my help!

You can use everything you can find on the market. Just be sure that it is a portable thickness 9.5 mm SATA HDD. The maximum size available is 1 TB. Here's the manual showing how to replace the drive.

    http://bizsupport1.Austin.HP.com/BC/docs/support/SupportManual/c00911959/c00911959.PDF

I don't remember if the 6710 b has a connector on the connector sata on the standard black plastic drive but do not panic if the drive when you pull a link that seems different from that of a disk sata hard. There is a piece of plastic card black you need to remove the old drive and reuse. It can be put in place so that the sata connections just plug right into the motherboard.

This is a good deal on a 7200 RPM 320 GB drive:

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16822152235

I won't use anything other that a disc of 7200 RPM... it offers a significant improvement in access to time and the boot file.
