  Hi I'm new to Hyperion planning. I tried to create a list of tasks, but I am not able to switch from basic to Advanced Mode. Like all the time only base Mode is available in the view.
  As expected the Administration must get off in basic mode, but it is available all the time even in basic Mode. And I'm not able to perform all tasks in the tasks list created.

  The concept of "Basic Mode" vs "Advanced Mode" disappears with the version 11.1.2.2. I'll start my VM in a bit and get back to you on how to create a list of tasks.

  Just bought a refurb, open the HP Envy 15 3040NR box.  Went to save it and the phone rep said that I have to take out the battery to get the number.  I didn't remove the battery... it looks like there are a few screws to remove and I can't find instructions in the online manual for removing the battery.

  There is a sticker next to the battery with multiple numbers, it says "Series", there are a number of product, a lot of numbers.  I use another computer... so I could open it to get the numbers.  Where is the serial number, a specific number of characters?  It starts with a number or letter?

  You're phone has a 'sealed battery' and this should not be removed.  An easier way to locate your serial no is the following.

  As you reinstalled just Vistas, you would have a very limited number of Restore Points!

  Try the system restore.

  I deleted a file on my local C drive using the XP mode. The file did not go to the XP virtual recycling bin or windows 7 recycling bin.  The file was small and did not warn me that it does not fit in the recycling bin.

  XP mode accesses the Windows 7 files through a mapped on a virtual LAN network drive.  As you have discovered, files deleted from a mapped network drive light not in the basket on each machine.  They have completely disappeared.

  Part of the problem is not so much finding sites that have articles on Oracle, that is to find reliable websites with this information.  When I search my site of certification for resources, I find a significant number of people who have 'technical' Articles on Oracle.   Welcome to Oracle Forms!  Out of curiosity, what do you mean by 'new '?  You are a student or new to an organization that uses Oracle Forms?  Or just play with Oracle Forms to learn something new?

  Let me start by saying that many of your questions designtime can answer by searching in the help of the constructor of the form library.  It's accessible, like most of the other products in the Builder menu > help.
