  Long version of the question:

  I manage a large number of product labels for my employer. I created Word files containing the necessary indications, warnings, first aid, and the news of immersion for each product. I want to be able to place the Word file in the layouts of the label, and I hope that InDesign can insert a paragraph style that I created after two consecutive points of paragraph (¶). The paragraph in question style is a paragraph dividing bar which occupies about 85% of the width of the text box. I tried to create the bar directly in the files of words themselves, but apparently not good

  If the empty paragraphs in Word (with just the paragraph return) have a Style applied, and paragraphs with text also have a Style applied, the answer is Yes.

  When you place the Word text in InDesign, maintain the formatting of the word and use matching Style. This allows you to take the text that contains the Styles applied Word and InDesign can automatically apply your corresponding InDesign Styles.

  This is the problem... I have existing .indd document, and it must be printed in large numbers of pdf files. Each pdf file must contain different text in a textbox (located in the main frame). Is there a way I could automate the process? No, not so much for printing, but for the automatic insertion of this line of text in command/click of the mouse? I think that automatic printing would be difficult, as each file is in different folder...

  Looks like it might be a candidate to merge data, that would make a single file with all relevant documents. Which could then be exported to the single pages (or page ranges) by using a script.

  In my note, I have 8 percussion in the arrange window. Later, I added a new instrument/track. To add a new instrument for a Score to set the manual recommends:

  Do one of the following:

  Set the insertion mark where you want to add a tool, then choose new > add an instrument.

  Where this insertion mark to show where to put, please? I select an instrument under which I want to introduce a new drum but after clicking Add Instrument input, the new inst appear on a button of the partition.

  X there is no insertion mark. Adding a new instrument in through the drop down insert the next instrument as defined by the order of the tracks in the arrange window. What you do are framed an instrument, then right-click on it - and reassign the instrument you want. To change the order after all instruments have been added to the whole score - highlight the one you want to go - hit control c, the highest point, one that you want to insert above and press Ctrl v

  I want to insert my email address automatically in web pages and documents. I got a response from Tom Geweke but can't make it work: = preferences / keyboard/text/replace with.

  I put a shortcut kkk and who replaced my email address. But when I try it it did not work. I enter kkk and press ENTER, but the kkk is not replaced by the address.  I tried on Web sites and in word, etc. What I am doing wrong?

  You must type a space after entering "kkk". It does not work if you press return.

  Im trying to find a way to insert automatically the metadata into new files as soon as they are created. More precisely than a name in the author section.

  I created a template of XMP that I can insert when the document is opened, but I was hopeing to find a way to automate this to save keep put the infor go upward and import the XMP.

  The reason for this is so when a PDF file is exported to the author is automatically written in the PDF properties.

  It can be done in a script, or if you use templates, you can write this info directly in the model.

  Here is a simple script that will add the author:

• When you type a number, how can I automatically insert a / (slash)?

  I tried to figure out how to insert a slash (/) of the automatcially after I entered a 6-digit number.  I wish I had the slash inserted after the number 3 from left to right?   For example; If after entering 123456 expected result would be 123/456.  Any help would be much appreciated.   How can I have a text field automatically up to date with the current date of the system at the beginning of the document clock?

  I have a read-only text field called "Today's Date" and I can get this works using the following script:

  You must place it in the form of script at the level of the doc, so that it runs every time

  the file is opened. Look under Tools - JavaScripts - Document JavaScripts.

• Automatic INSERTION of processing line (DML) does not work

  I have a page (408) which includes 6 regions: report of two regions, one region and three regions html list.
  
  Two regions of html made reference to a table (OCA_FIRMS). The key for the table is created in a previous page (33). Is not insert a row into the table even though it says it's successful.   AAH Yes. My bad.
  You wait for the insert to happen when you click on the "Next Question" button on page 408? This custom make insertion because 'DEMAND' is set to 'NEXT' and the DML process only recognizes the query below values for inserts.

  Unfortunately you cannot add corrections for words that you spell bad regularly with the spellchecker of Firefox.
  
  If Firefox does not have the correct entry in the context menu then it is not a lot you can do.
  
  You can only use persdict.dat (add to the dictionary) to add words to it which are correct, but which are not present in the currently selected dictionary.

  I have a table that has say 3 fields, Unique key, Number_cnt and Total number.

  The Board is filled with unique key and number but number remains empty. Say the table looks like this.

  Is there a way to update in the last column of the sum sql figures grouped by the unique key.

  I don't know the query to generate the result (select unique_key, sum (number_cnt) of the mTable by unique_key ;) group
