I can't seem to find what to do on the blackberry site, all the tips keep telling me to change my password working isn' there. I get the error message "enter the username associated with this smart phone. How can I find out what my correct username with my phone?

  Have you tried to remove the battery? If so, I would say to do a reload own the software of the device as shown here: http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320, please test before you restore all data on the device.

  I took a brief look at the questions on the CARDS, but none of these go to the ART GPS end does not. (I'm sure it's somewhere in the support forums, but I found nto).

  I have the icon of the WAP on my Blackberry Curve 8520. But when I click it I don't see is a grid nd no card. I checked Options Options/Advanced/cards and it is said by default Blackberry MAPS Service - EU. I also checked the place settings and under GPS Data Source it comes up with a list of all my contacts id bluetooth I suspect this is where it goes wrong, but I can't be sure.

  I tried to take a few pictures with my storm last night when I was at a party and when I tried to do, I got an error message.

  I can't show you a picture, you cannot add attachments, but the error message reads:

  (letter i icon) File system error

  (the folder icon) / Device memory/home/user/photos

  Name: IMG0007-200... (name of the photo)

  I looked everywhere that I have air...

  I went to the Options... Memory and looked at what I had available. Here's what I found:

  Application memory

  Free space: 9.6 MB

  The device memory

  Total area: 879.2 MB

  Free space: 0.0 KB

  Multimedia card

  Total space: 7.3 GB

  Free space: 5.6 GB

  Of course, the glaring problem is that I don't have ANY free space on the device.  Where everything is?  I have a 8 GB memory card and I have uploaded about 150 songs in my Storm. However, I have not downloaded photos or anything else. What happened to all the memory?   Where everything is?

  I tried a couple things like turn market, pulling out the memory card, etc... I tried to attach the storm and then sneaked in the records themselves and the only things I could find in ALL files was my MP3 files.

  Anyone know what's happened here?

• BlackBerry Smartphones replaced Blackberry 9000 - not receiving emails or hide where I can not find

  I just got a replacement blackberry today for a defective battery.  My tech guy helped me make a download wireless of my contacts our server etc. So far so good.  Then collapsed emails.  I see the red light and the number at the top indicating there is an unread email, but email is not on the blackberry.  Similarly, when I send a message from my blackberry away from the receiver, but there is no trace on my blackberry of the sent message.  The phone works very well and send SMS.  I know that there is a button on the activation button.  I tried to turn it back on without result.

  If you find no trace of emails, go to options, advanced options, and click

  The host Routing Tables. Highlight (do NOT click) select menu Save now.

  Wait for the activation message. Go to configuration of e-mail and send service directories.

  Make sure you get one for each e-mail account. Then:

  No data will be lost when you do the following: remove the battery while the device is activated.

  Remplacer replace after one minute, let the device reboot 1-3 min, see if the problem is corrected.

  I have my Curve 8310 in a form-fitting of CaseMate case and he withdrew when a message arrived at the screen on the seizure in standby mode and press the Mute button to exit this mode. I can't find any info in the manual about the location the Mute button and the search in the forum, someone says that it's the key to the upper right. Basically, I kept all the keys pressing on and he left the standby mode but now I'm trying to understand how to enter and exit the standby and exactly where is the Mute key.   I have used to have DM 4.7% and the redirector it contains. But after installing the latest Desktop Manager 5.0, I can't find more redirector. Could someone let me know where it is? I need to redirect emails from Outlook/Exchange to my BB Bold 9000 server work.

  I finally find why it was missing the redirector. During the installation of BBDM 5.0, I have to select the device was connected to BES or redirector. If I select "personal e-mail configuration", there would no redirector. That's all.

  Just got a new Storm 2 and can't find the zero ('0') key, when the keyboard is in landscape mode... when the QWERTY keyboard is shifted to alt to display numbers & punctuation, numbered from 1 to 9 keys will appear but only a hidden empty box where the '0' should be.  It seems that the only way to enter a '0' in a message must put the camera in portrait mode, enter the key and then go back to the landscape.  This is just my camera?

  ... because I can't get rid of the error message dialoge box, and I can't click on the menu options in the BB Desktop Manager.

  I tried the following:

  • uninstalled and reinstalled twice - 2nd uninstall was a "hard" uninstall where I deleted the registry files by hand
  • installs the cable to the USB port at the back (after having tried both ports at the front) of the computer
  • rebooted the computer several times
  • hard starts the phone by removing the battery
  • plugged in, removed and replugged in the phone.

  Also:

  • The phone is properly install when I plug it in, but the software still does not seem to see it.
  • In Device Manager, the BlackBerry appears under portable devices. Double clicking on it gives me the message "this device is working properly." of reassurring.
  • The Com1 port is working properly, according to Device Manager.
  • A double-click on the icon of the Device Manager to get the properties indicates that the Com1 port is "disconnected" - when I try to set it up, it appears just back to the disconnected state.

  If someone has an idea or something that I have not tried, I'd be happy of course!

  Good, people, after a phone call from 3 1/2 hour with a (very patient) phone support person to Blackberry, here's what I learned.

  You can check your drivers USB in this way:

  1. Plug your phone into your USB key. Assuming that your Blackberry is "seen" by your computer...
  2. Go into the Device Manager on your computer (Panel)
  3. Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers at the bottom of the list item
  4. Right-click on the BlackBerry smartphone, and then select Properties
  5. Click on the driver tab
  6. Click the driver Details button
  7. You should see a driver. I saw two. The one like the BlackBerry is the RimUsb one.

  So here's what NOT to do: we threw any driver who has been the "extra". This actually made using my mouse and keyboard cannot, because they are USB and my poor husband has sent in the basement to find a million-year-old keyboard (and mouse) with the old fashioned type of connectors (PS2). Bleh. Don't, don't.

  Here's what I did that worked (not saything this will work for you - it changes the registry to a backup system with this backup and restore if you are nervous about this kind of thing):

  1. On the start menu, choose run and type regedit into the registry editor.
  2. Follow this path to the file: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SYSTEM, CurrentControlSet, Control, computer, class
  3. Click: {36FCE60-C465-11CF-8056-4445535400000}
  4. If there is an article called law "UpperFilters", delete it. (See photos)

  I would ask you for help. I continued receive notifications of updates to BB App World, I found quite annoying, so I searched the Internet for trick how to avoid these. I followed the recommendation of someone to go to options > application > applications > app world > and then deny all of their parameters. After having done that, the unit restarted and showed the following: Application completed, access denied for user LpBBMBridgelmpl. This notification stays on the screen, then it goes to the home screen where the unit is locked and shows "new messgae" notes. But Im not able to touch anything, cannot. What should I do?

  I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

  • KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

  It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, try to reverse what you did.
