BlackBerry Smartphones from blackBerry 9700 reboot screen stuck and deformed

I rebooted my blackberry 9700, but it is stuck on restart screen where it says blackberry with unfinished start line and a distorted screen

Hey scramba,

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

Have you tried to remove the battery? If so, I would say to do a reload own the software of the device as shown here: http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320, please test before you restore all data on the device.

I hope this helps!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry bold 9700 shift key stuck and the joystick

    Hello

I don't know if anyone has experienced this before.

Woke up this morning I noticed my shift button (the one on the right side) stuck from time to time. If I press it, it goes, however he returned a few minutes later. I thought at first, that my joystick works, but it's this thing. I disassembled the blackberry and even then it does.

The joystick is also up. Now it does nothing. I am devastated.

    Any idea?

This looks like what I've seen several times on a device with moisture damage.
Even sitting on a countertop bath during a hot steamy shower or bath can cause problems with keyboard and trackball up to this JUST-withered. Really, it is more common than you think.
1 the battery immediately! Do not turn on your BlackBerry device.
    2. allow the device to dry in a warm, dry place for 3 to 5 days * (see below)
    3. DO NOT "check it every day" by placing the battery in. Leave what would to dry completely. It takes time. Replacing the battery to check it can damage only (humidity + power = disaster).
    4. If the unit is hot after the drying period, let it cool to room temperature before placing the battery in the.

Suggestions on your BlackBerry in a warm dry place (open, with battery):
    * Place the BB in a container of rice uncooked dry, and then you can also place it in one of the locations mentioned below.
    * On top of any heat dry emitting electronic components: TV or CRT, LCD, TV cable box / Satellite or plasma monitor
    * On the dashboard of your car on a day sunny

  • Free Sim Smartphone blackBerry 9700

I bought a new BlackBerry 9700 free sim card and put my T - Mobile UK SIM in there.  I have the BlackBerry Internet Service activated on the sim card and most things work correctly.  I get invalid APN of BlackBerry App World and Twitter unavailable services settings

Is this something I need to get some additional T-Mobile service settings or do I need to load an approved t-mobile BlackBerry OS version?

It turns out that I had BlackBerry Email but not BlackBerry Internet Booster.

If the problem is now resolved.  RIM could really do with simplifying their offer, I mean that not order Internet and Email on BlackBerry in any case

  • Smartphones from blackBerry Torch 9800 stuck on reboot

I recently downloaded the new BBM application, and the icon disappeared from my phone.  I tried to reboot several times and it finally appeared, but he has not been called BBM, rather something net_rim_.  When I clicked it, it says "files missing resources" and would not load.

I also noticed that my BBM connected apps (Facebook, etc) were not load correctly.

So - I saved my BBM contacts and deleted and reinstalled, but there is no icon again.

I checked this forum and found a similar problem, and the solution was to check if the necessary software update, which could solve the problem.

I checked on my torch, and he said that there is an update available, so I downloaded it.  It downloaded fine and then asked if I wanted to install it and gave a warning that it might take 2 hours or more.  That's fine with me, because I was going to bed early and would not use it.

Before going to bed, I noticed that it has been reset.  I thought I just leave and go to bed.

When I got up this morning, I noticed that it was always restart.  The white bar would completely go through then it would go to a white, shared screen black and then start again.

I checked the forums once again and found a similar problem, which says to pull the battery and replace it.  Did, and it did not work.  I tried several times and even let the battery for 2 hours, in the vain hope that it might work.

I tried connecting to BlackBerry Desktop to do a restore, but it cannot connect to the phone, because it is stuck at reboot.

    Any suggestions?

Found the solution on another post. Do you have what he said, and the phone works again. Unfortunately, when I restored the backup it uninstalled most of my applications. Had to update AppWorld and am now slowly reinstall others.

  • Blackberry Bold 9700 Smartphones from blackBerry backup

    Hello!

I was able to backup data from my phone to the computer before it broke down. (Shows a white screen, I think the problem is the display screen)

    The questions are:

1 is easy to fix the problem?

    2. how to open the data stored on my computer? I need to check some contacts and text messages.

    3. How can I transfer all the data again to a new phone? Should this phone be a Blackberry in order for contacts/messages/photos to be transferred?

Thanks in advance for answering my questions.

    Hello

    ateliermd2003 wrote:

In my view, that can be firmly answered by a technician with the device by hand. If the problem is not a hardware problem, you might be able to recover it with this:

Natively, the backup file (BBB or RPI, depending on the version of the Desktop software you used) is intended for a single purpose... as the source of restoration to a BlackBerry. But there are several 3rd PC-based 3rd party there apps that can analyze the file backup, some even to do something else with the resulting data. I've never needed, but I heard good things about MagicBerry. Search for a few seconds (for example, on Google) and I'm sure you will find plenty of candidates for your needs.

To transfer to another BB, simply perform the restore:

    • KB10339 How to use BlackBerry Desktop Software to restore data from a BlackBerry smartphone from a backup file

To transfer to another device, these 3 save game file analysis applications (from your point 2 above) would be your source... you would have to understand what requires this device non - BB and then manipulate the data in the required format and then use whatever of this non - BB device has to load the data on this device.

    Good luck!

  • Smartphones blackBerry torch freezes on reboot screen

Hi, I got my flashlight since early January, and there is no water or physical damage to him. Everything was spectacular work until today.

This morning I changed the security settings for the AT & T Live TV app and the Pandora app. He then asked a reboot that I authorized. The phone turns off, back to the screen to reboot (with the logo of BB and the "BlackBerry") as well as the bar loading restart on the bottom.

The thing is, the bar completely and that's all, it remains frozen. Nothing else loads. I took the battery and retried. Several times. Now, I am just let it sit there, load fully charged bar, having done nothing but be frozen for about an hour now.

Can someone help me with this you problem? Thanks for your time.

    Hi LFLimon,

I have the same problem since I changed the settings for these two applications and a few others deleted last week. You can find the thread I posted Sunday here: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Torch/Torch-9800-stuck-on-loading-screen-PLEASE-HE...

I don't have the chance to try the suggestions of Pegotico again since my Torch is at home and I was out of town. In any case, I hope it will solve this problem, let us know how it works for you.

I am running Vista 32 bit on a Dell Inspiron 1525.

I downloaded Desktop Manager 5.0.1 B49 MultiLanguage - without Media Manager successfully and downloaded the latest version (I have seen elsewhere that this version is suggested for the bold 9700).

It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

  • Icon timer of Smartphones from blackBerry in the middle of the screen

Hey hope someone can help me with this. These days my phone has like a little black box which one could say is like a small clock, because it has a white line that goes around it, as it is counting the time. Anyway the problem is happening constantly if the phone is used or not, and uses my battery. I completely loaded before I went to sleep last night and woke up and the battery has been drained. I removed the battery several times to reset but it did not help. Someone at - it ideas?

You certainly have applications that run in the background, maps, an active web browser page or something of the sort.

Also, make sure that you have disabled memory Cleaner (Options > Security > garbage collection). You don't need it.

To avoid a freezing response development or late / slow on any BlackBerry, most important practice that you can adopt is to ensure applications CLOSE when you are finished using them.

If you simply press the Red "end call" key to return to the home screen application is actually open and running in the background. If you do this several times, you will have many apps open and therefore your memory will get used. Lack of memory is the main reason for your BlackBerry slows to a crawl or crashes. If you make a habit of actually use the menu button to close the applications that will at least slow this process memory-clogging. You may still do a battery pull or using the "Quickpull" app from time to time when things get slow.

To check what applications run on your device in the background, press the Menu key, and then click switching Applications. You will see icons for each application it.

So now, check your applications running in the background. There are four or five applications that will always run fluently (Messages, Call Logs/phone, BlackBerry Messenger, home screen and the browser; there are other third-party applications such as BeeJive and alerts of BlackBerry that will work also in the bottom that you can not close if you want they work). Ensure that the browser is NOT on an active Web page (open the browser and select the Menu > close). Close all other applications that do not need to be running (the camera or a game you were playing or Google Maps).

Sometimes when I unlock or just try to navigate the phone - its fustrating Yes aswell!

And then yesterday and today, the battery had drained by noon, although he had been accused of the overnight! I rebooted my phone at noon today, and its once again once drained (18:20)!

Hello and welcome to the community!

Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the whole 4h15m process, your BB should stay connected to a good charger (not the USB PC):

    1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
    2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
    3. Remove the battery
    4. Wait 15 minutes
    5. Insert the battery
    6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

This has been known to "revive" some BBs.

It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

    1. Get a known good and already fully charged battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
    2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem.

You can also try to start safe mode:

  • Smartphones blackBerry 9700 "Bold" no Audio for Email alerts

    Hello

Already activated my new Bold 9700 with Bell this morning. Everything works except for the audio alerts by e-mail. I'm very frustrated with it that I have tried several solutions, hopefully a tech here rep can provide a method that I have not already tried.

When I receive an email, the light, the red asterisk in the main message section, but there is no audio alerts. I have the profile set to normal, sonar ping as audio choice and set to always indoors or out of Holster.  All this started after I tried to sync with contacts from my old phone, a Blackberry 8830 with Bell.

Here's a little recap, in chronological order.

-active 9700, voice work of calls, classic phone ring ToneWorks, went to the site of the BIS, set up my two email with Gmail and Yahoo accounts. Received messages and audio alerts by e-mail.

-the problem started when I synced my old 8830 version 4.5.0.127 with Bishop Office and transferred the address book and contacts of Bishop BB the 9700.

-Alerts audio email stopped working on gmail and yahoo, still getting emails well. Strange because when the audio alert worked, the red asterisk indicating a new email will appear in the message section and the section of gmail/yahoo messages. With the audio alert does not, the red asterisk appears only in the message section.

-at this point, the 9700 is running on something v5.0.0.3

-Sync also failed to transfer phone numbers 8830 address book the 9700. The names and e-mail addresses have been transferred but no phone number.

-changed profiles by selecting a different audio alert, activated the wireless market, removed the battery for 5 minutes and restarted. Still did not work.

-wipe the device, set up the email once again, an e-mail alert audo still does not.

-at this point, I went back to the dealer for help. They used their desktop Manager to synchronize with my 8830. Their timing worked better that phone numbers have been able to transfer through. Once again however, no warning audio email.

-dealer spent 90 minutes, yes 90 minutes working on my device. He did the same methods I've tried... twice. They wiped my camera... twice. Updated the service books, changed the normal profile to one other than sonar sound alert, still does not.

-store was closed then dealer suggested to delete the old 8830 BIS email. Don't forget my 8830 and 9700 have different mobile numbers on separate accounts.

-return home and has decided to do the opposite of the dealer's suggestion, I've deleted email BIS (on the site of the BIS on my PC) on the 9700 rather than the 8830 and recorded again. It worked! Getting email audio alerts on two e-mail accounts! Synchronization Manager to back up, once I do request now if I want to upgrade to v5.0.0.423. I save my profile, and then click ok... bad idea. Once happens, alerts audio email stopped working again.

-Restore backup data, I just saved, alerts e-mail audiio does not. And then deleted and added a new e-mail, and update of new service books and audio alert in normal profile options.

-repeats removing the battery, turning network works, no luck.

From this moment, I have a 9700 with v5.0.0.423, updated service books and two emails from BIS (gmail and yahoo) which are still not give audio alerts email. Is this a problem of software or a defect in my own device? What can I do to fix this? It is imperative for me to answer my emails BIS in time for audio alerts by e-mail are a must for me.

In addition, my 8830 was conducting a BES until four weeks ago. Now, it is on BIS only even if one of the BES parameters is still present and I couldn't remove it. I don't know the password security feature, 8830 claims always my pw to unlock. Have not been able to turn it off on the security options screen.

Please help... How to get back my audio alert email?

    Hello Triple_P88,

To correct this problem, you need to remove the COMPUTER of your BlackBerry smartphone policy.

To do this, we would need to back up the BlackBerry smartphone. Please open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and connect your BlackBerry smartphone. Click the backup and restore button, and select Save. Note the location where the backup is saved will allow us to access later to restore the BlackBerry smart phone.

Once you have saved your BlackBerry smart phone, please follow the link below to remove it from your BlackBerry smartphone strategy

    Link: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB14202

I advise to do this for both phones, as well as after it is done do not restore the old backup, but selective restore as outlned below.

Selective restore of your BlackBerry smartphone (only restore the essential elements such as the address book, calendar, messages, etc.). I enclose a link below on how to do it.

  • Help blackBerry Smartphones! Bold 9700 is frozen on start up with the new sim card

I tried looking for similar topics but could not find more relevant. everyone seems to have no problem with swapping of cards sim on their fat. If there is a thread already open, I'm sorry. I am really frustrated and really need my blackberry to be operational.

I have a Bold 9700, updated to the latest OS, everything works fine. I recently had some problems with my old sim card so I went to my service provider to change to another (same number, same line, same contract, just a new sim card).

As it is expected that I was told that when my old sim is disabled, simply insert my new and I use my phone as normal.

However, when I did this, the phone was stuck at the loading screen (the bar is all white) for eternity (maybe 5 minutes or more) before moving on to the home screen. There is no charge "security check" bar, the phone is completely frozen, no buttons work, the touch pad does not work, it shows 3G top right without the sign of blackberry, there is no service provider name and from time to time the little loading logo clock is displayed.

I pulled the battery a couple of times and the problem persists. I called the service provider to reactivate the new sim card, they did 3 times, same problem. I inserted the SIM in other non-blackberry phones that I have and it works on all phones. When I put my old sim card in the 9700 disabled, the phone start end in 2-3 minutes, 'check' safety bar according to normal, everything moves, just no connection to the service. When I turn on the phone without sim card it starts fine with a message to say out loud the card sim.

I even went down to the assistance service technique blackberry from my service provider and they were no help. all they could say was 'we must wipe your phone and reload the software' that I'm trying to avoid, and I can do it myself anyway.

My phone is unlocked, comes unlocked here in Singapore, I even checked using the method 'MEPD', all disabled.

This was very frustrating, especially when I need my blackberry for work. What is the problem with my phone? How can the simple replacement of a sim card if difficult on a blackberry when there is problem free for ANY other phone I've ever used? I am now fear when I travel abroad for business and requires a foreign sim card.

had the same problem and eventually happeing is that I had to reload my os permeable, and then insert the sim card and upgrade again.

    consusming time, but worth it
