  Your printer is listed here.   What is your problem with their procedure here?   For example, it is implied that the W8 should choose a driver for you.

  Click the 'clock' Time machine at the top of the screen of the Mac

  Click Open Time Machine Preferences

  Click Add or remove from your drive

  Under the heading of backup disks, click on the drive it to highlight (probably named 'Data', unless you have changed the name of the drive)

  Click remove disk

  Close the windows

  Restart the MacBook Pro

  Click the 'clock' Time machine at the top of the screen of the Mac

  Click Open Time Machine Preferences

  Click select drive or Add or remove disks

  Choose the Time Capsule drive (probably named 'Data') by highlighting

  Click use the disk

  Close the windows

  Wait a while to see if a backup is performed

  If you want to manually run the backup, click on the Time Machine clock icon, and then click Backup now

  Report on your results. If the backup still does not work, we need the exact message that you see there.

• Firefox crashes or freezes when opened. Help, please!

  My firefox does not open. I have been using Firefox without problems for years until yesterday. I have a Mac OS X 10.10.3. Whenever I open Firefox, it immediately crashes or freezes. I have to go to my dock to "force quit" Firefox. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the latest version of Firefox 38.0.1 several times and no luck. I tried to start Firefox in "safe mode" and as soon as my default screen opens (Yahoo.com) and when I click on anything, whether it's freezing immediately again.

  I'm not able to get Firefox open enough before it freezes to be able to go to 'preferences' to try to change or remove cookies or anything else.

  Also, I had hundreds of bookmarks, when I get Firefox and running, is there a way to recover these bookmarks?

  Currently, I am forced to use Safari which is horrible. Help, please!

  You do not create another account on the computer. You're doing a
  new user of Firefox with your own user account profile. Firefox may have
  many profiles under the same user account.

  Never mind.  Finally found the phone activation window - it was a popup, don't know what I did to make it popup, but after entering one have numbers my VISTA is activated.

  I bought a laptop computer to the top-of-the-line Dell M6800 used by Amazon in late December 2015 and find that the Service Dell number was not registered. After many phone calls long at Dell, I tells me that I can't buy an extended warranty so I can't buy even if you support. I am being treated like a criminal because Dell think that this laptop was stolen at Dell and maybe it was. But I bought legitimately and can prove it. The dealer Amazon, located in Chino Hills, California (computers ASN) says that he bought it legitimately also. During my many phone calls to Dell, I told myself that your inventory system shows that this laptop is located at Dell and has never been sold. Is there anything I can do to solve this problem. The dealer won't take this back, Amazon has refused my request, if I call, and I'm almost out of options. As an innocent purchaser, will not be Dell help me to fix this problem so I can get help through Dell? My immediate problem is that my fingerprint reader does not work in Windows 10. He works to save my fingerprints and worked after a reboot hard, but now, after the last DDP Dell update a few days ago, it doesn't quite work. I'm pretty sure I need to uninstall Dell RFP and reinstall the latest version, but there is no apparent way to uninstall this application, at least not without help from Dell. Long term, I am more concerned about more serious problems for which Dell will not help me. Thank you.

• I did something stupid to my computer and I need help fixing it!

  Now, I've heard people use SUPERantispyware (SUPERantispyware.com) so I used it... He didn't do anything mainly because it is just an especially horrible antivirus program compared to my average so I went in this selection of repairs I can do to my computer and I have "Reset Winlogon Shell". Since I did that many permissions have been removed for access to the records and when I look in the properties of the permissions then it show that my account on this computer and admin (p.s. I'm the only account so the admin also), but then I also have these locks on a bunch of files and goes C:\users\ has not only ntuser.dat (and.. dat) Log1 and .datLOG2) but rather has also other 9 with three located in fair plugs for the real file and they all random numbers and letter after the extension. P.S. out of all those random there are three BLF and 6 REGTRANS-MS files

  I have developed a (popup) online help CHM file for integration in a desktop application. The help does not open when you first click the 'HELP' button in the application. When you click on it a second time, it opens as expected.

  If the CHM works as expected, the problem is in the way in which your application invokes help. Your developers will need to consider the question.
