Who is the oldest version of firefox which is always taken in charge?
Is version 3.0 x reached end of life? We must determine what version and above all we should put our consistent application. TIA.
Yes, support for Firefox 3.0.x branch was completed and updates are published is no longer.
Only 3.5.x (currently 3.5.14) and Firefox 3.6.x (3.6.11) are currently supported and still receive updates.
When Firefox 4.0 is out (end of this year or maybe next year) then support for Firefox 3.5 will end so about 6 months later.

What is the latest version of Firefox which can run unsigned module?
I downloaded the latest version of the installer of Firefox offline and it will not run an add-on unsigned vital. I have an older version of Firefox (42.0) who execute him. What is the latest version of Firefox without verifying signature of the add-on? Thank you.
42 of Firefox is the latest version of Firefox which has been made public. If you run a generation later, it's probably either every night, beta or Dev edition. If you have an add-on unsigned, you run in these editions, you can disable the requirement by setting xpinstall.signatures.required to false in: config.

What is the latest version of Firefox, which works with Windows ME?
We recently had a portable older Gateway that we use only as an internet point. Unfortunately, it is currently running Windows ME and I don't even know if it has all the technical features to be upgraded (and certainly not for Vista, which is the only thing that we have an installation disc for). The vehicle currently has Firefox 2.0.0.20, which of course contains many security holes and is not compatible with most of the newer plugins. What is the best version of Firefox that works with Windows ME, and it is still available for download? Thank you!
Sorry, Firefox 2.0.0.20 is the last version made for WinME.

In previous versions of firefox, I could use about: config to make the new tab opened as my home page. the latest version of firefox doesn't seem to allow this. I find it very frustrating that all the search engines seem to want to dictate what I see when I Browse. I wish to install the new version of firefox
In Firefox pref browser.newtab.url 41 disappeared. This pref has been hijacked by malware so frequently while Mozilla has decided to remove this pref to eliminate this kind of diversion.
You will need an extension like this one to restore.
https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/new-tab-override/Or to have your home page as the new tab page, try this extension.
https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/new-tab-homepage/If you're using Classic theme restaurant, go to the options of CTR > general UI (2) and set your preference for the new tab URL there.
For Super Start , you can use the topic: superstart page.

I got the message to update my browser, I went on the site and download the latest version of Firefox. I update my plug-ins as well. However, I always get the message that my browser is obsolete. I uninstalled it, reinstalled, without success. Please help me. When I go to help and select about Firefox, I have that I use the latest version: 6.0.2.
Check general.useragent preferences on the topic: config page.
You can open the topic: config page through the address bar just like you open a Web site.Filter: general.useragent
If all general.useragent prefs are "BOLD" (user set) then right-click this pref and select reset.
It would be probably due the FBSMTWB on the end of your useragent that you had added the Fast Browser Search toolbar extension.

Inadvertently, I deleted Firefox and emptied the Recycle Bin. I think that it is version 3.5. I have a MAC OSX 10.4.11. After several vain attempts how can I re - install the latest compatible version of Firefox on my MAC system? Thank you!
Firefox 4.0 and newer builds from Mozilla Firefox requires that the two Mac OSX 10. 5+ and an Intel.
Either you can use http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html 3.6.19
If you 3.6.18 will be as safe as 3.6.19 was to work around a font crashing issue on 10.7 Lion which was not fixed in time on Lion before the release. http://releases.Mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/Firefox/releases/3.6.18/Mac/ and choose your language and download the Firefox 3.6.18.dmg

I have windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. I have Firefox 12.0 installed and have re-installed twice in the last week. I always get the prompt to upgrade, even here on the Mozilla site. I don't know what else to do?
Hello butch864, it seems that something is leading your user agent (the bit that identifies the browser and its version) and makes it appear as if you are still using firefox 3.0.11. Please try to reset all parameters of useragent as described here and see if this helps: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/websites-say-firefox-outdated-or-incompatible#w_other-causes

I've upgraded to the latest version of Firefox, but I always get a message on my home page that says "you are not on the latest version of Firefox. Update today to get the best of the Web! »
You can see this message under the Google search box on www.google.com/firefox which is the old default Firefox homepage. It seems that this page is no longer maintained by Google. You seem to have the latest version of Firefox.
If you want as the Google search page as homepage, change your homepage to Subject: House (a new version of the old homepage Google/Firefox update is now integrated into Firefox).

What is the oldest version of FrameMaker which will allow me to create an eBook as directly as the newer versions?
The first version to create epub directly from FM format was v.12.
There is a plug-in for older versions of Frank Elmore (Framescript creator) that will generate the FM epub format. See the thread below for more information: best methods to create eBooks from FrameMaker 10 (TCS 3.5)
