Why did datasocket works on some of the computers in a windows 2000 network, but not others?

I use an executable program of labview which write Boolean arrays on multiple computers in a network and their bed on a computer 'server '.  All the client computers are running windows 2000 with the labview run time engine 8.6.  The server computer is running windows 2000 with the labview 8.6 developers edition.  I can only contact between a client computer and the server computer.  Communication will work either way between these two computers.  Either the computer can sucessfully read or write data datasocket.  Other computers cannot communicate in both directions.  All the computers are on the same network in the same workgroup and can see through the network.  It doesn't seem to be a firewall on all computers.  Suggestions?

It seems he needs the installation standard/full engine runtime 8.6 with decision-making data.  I had the engine smaller run time file installed on the computers that did not work.

  • Why Oracle ManagedDataAccess (4.121.1.0) throws a System.FormatException "first chance" exception to the debugger when you use OracleCommand.BindByName (on some machines, but not others)?

Why Oracle ManagedDataAccess (4.121.1.0) throws a System.FormatException "first chance" exception to the debugger when you use OracleCommand.BindByName (on some machines, but not others)?

This occurs when calling a ref cursor-returning packaged function stored with OracleCommand.BindByName set to true.

When BindByName undefined, it works as expected.

I've only been able to recreate this problem on a machine in my control. This issue has also reported to me by a customer.

I tried to change the locale of the system of EN - UK EN-US, but I was not aware of any change in behavior.

Similarly, I've tried explicitly overriding the default locale of the system with the OracleGlobalization parameters, and it also had no effect.

Thanks a lot to qualify again for me Alex.  I'll try upgrading to the latest version of the provider.

The difference in behavior between the two hosts was found to be reduced to differences in configuration VS.

Checking 'Just my code' prevents the first chance thrown in the debugger exception. As in fact, the exception is handled in the provider, it is enough for me.

Can I connect my android for my PC in windows phone 7, but not to those at work. Scientists do not know why!

I am trying to connect to a machine newly built W7 who has free access to the internet and from the guys in IT is not locked down. But there is clearly something different from my home machine. Both are Windows 7 Ultimate on a home group, not to a domain.

I use an adapter Bluetooth USB 4 and can sucessfully pair my phone to work, but my application (remote Unified) says "connection refused".

I tried to disable the firewall and looked at all the parameters that I can find.

I went through the windows wizards advocatus - all of this without any problem.

I'm looking to help him find the source of the issue of refusal of connection.

    Hi Gutzy,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

If I understand correctly, you have 2 computers that have all two windows 7 Ultimate installed on them and the two are not on the field. The PC that is at home works well, when you try to connect to your phone by using unified remote right?  You can pair your phone with Bluetooth, 4 USB adapt to the work, but you are unable to take control remotely using Remote unified.

It shows that it might be the security settings of the computer at work. Would be better to answer this question in the Technet Forums. Please send the query in the link below.

  • Some policies appear in the PDF files after "Print" to PDF, but not after "save under" PDF

FM9, Kozuka fonts and one of my custom symbols fonts show in a file PDF produced with "Print" and a PDF printer, but not when I do "save in" and select "Save as:" PDF. Kozuka characters out as boxes, and custom symbols are absent; Although if I highlight the place to be in the PDF, the font name shows. I use Acrobat 7 Pro.

I tried to change the Asian fonts in the police combined with the "Pr6N" Kozuka provided with FM9 versions, but that did not work.

I also tried to copy the fonts to "C:\Program Files\Adobe\FrameMaker9\fminit\fonts\adobe" and various other places, and of course, they are in the folder Fonts of Windows, nothing helps. My other custom symbols fonts work very well, and they are only in the Fonts to Windows folder.

These fonts worked well in FM8. Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Tami

    Hello Tami,

try saving the PDF file once again, but this time - in the dialog box options PDF - select the check box 'convert CMYK to RGB colours. Fonts now appear correctly? If so, it's just another bug of the famous engine FM CMYK. When you convert the colors to RGB, you get the same result as when printing to PDF.

During troubleshooting, I port passed almost all the ports TCP, starting w / ports 80, 443 and 902.

Through the SSH tunnel, via a browser, I can successfully access https://127.0.0.1 (VMware server), but the client software will not complete the connection, w / error message: «...» "The client could not send a request to the server."

  • Application of air using URLLoader w/HTTPS fails on some Win7 computers, but not others

We have an Air (SDK 4.5) application, we are ready to deploy, but fails to connect via the HTTPS URL with error #2032 on some Win7 computers, but not others.

For troubleshooting, I can reproduce the problem by using the example of app simple test given in the AS3 URLLoader documentaton.

The problem is that when you run the application on some Win7 boxes, trying to connect to various servers via https and download a simple document, the request fails with "Error #2032".

The version of the Air runtime is 3.0, and we have updated to 3.1 with the same result. The problem is related to the HTTPS only: the same URLS work fine with HTTP.

Now for the fun: an application exact air works fine on another Win7 box, of the area of XP, OSX 10.6 and 10.7, pointing to the same URL HTTPS OSX.

More fun: on Win7 boxes that in case of failure, it only fails with some https URL and not others, and URLS that fail with this Air app on these some win7 boxes work perfectly with the same air application on several others mentioned computers (XP, OSX and other win7).

    I know that #2032 Error is a very generic error "io" and could be the result of many things, but in this case, I did some research to isolate what could happen;

on win7 boxes where the air application fails:

If we point the air application on a virtual host on our setup of server apache with a self signed SSL certificate, the air application appears a sign saying the cert isn't trused, and if we click on 'continue', we get the error 2032 and a 0 http status code. Apache never logs on demand. This tells me that the application of air attempts to negotiate an SSL session with the apache server, but never succeeds.

If we indicate the air even application a virtual host on the same configuration of Apache Web server with a REAL SSL cert, the air application never appears unreliable Panel, but still does not work, 2032 and the http status code returned 0.

If we indicate the air even application a virtual host on the same server apache but HTTP instead of HTTPS, there is no failure and demand ends with an http 200 status code.

Interestingly, if we note the same air application various other HTTPS URLS on different hosts, our servers and others on the internet that we know work, some fail the same way and some work very well.

Now: If we run the same tests with the same air app, using the same URL HTTPS on other computers mentioned (XP, OSx and other win7), there is no failure and demand always ends well.

Another finding: you could theorize that there is something wrong with those boxes of win7, but the HTTPS URLS that fail with the air app, nice job on these boxes in IE and Chrome, also the same test app compiled as a Flex application and executed in the browser on computers that fail to work fine with the same HTTPS URLS that fails and the application of air , for the air runtime of problems on some win7 boxes.

It is a BIG problem for us, our Air application is a consumer application and will be widely deployed, and we cannot have it not be performed only on some computers and have no idea why.

    Any help would be apprechiated.

    Thank you

PROBLEM SOLVED (mostly), however I end up with big problems in this...

The problem was on the failure both Win7 boxes were sigficantly off the coast. Their synchronization solved the problem. I assume that others who have similar problems check the time on the computers/servers.

This raises the question of why the AIR runtime cannot negotiate an SSL connection under this condition, but each browser we tested on those same computers could?

I can buy that maybe the SSL protocol must by definition fail under these conditions, however for use by consumers, where it can not be controlled, the implementation must be loose to allow upward, and indeed all commercial browsers can negotiate SSL under these conditions connections (time synchronization offset) - ecommerce would be in trouble if consumers can probably not to connect to a service secured via Internet simply because the time is out of their computer.

Can anyone in the Group Air address Adobe this concern on the use of AIR for applications of consumer under this condition where you can't rely on your application to install or run on who knows how many computers to consumers?  And to make things worse, AIR doesent provide revised, detailed error information so it is VERY tedious or impossible to even troubleshoot a comply with instructions like that--on the ground, it would be rather impossible.

    Thank you

    Hello

Try the following and see if it helps.

I suggest you perform a disk check and check if it helps.

    See the following steps:

    a. open the computer by clicking the Start button, click computer.

    b. click the drive you want to check, and then click Properties.

    c. click on the Tools tab and then, under error-checking, click Find now.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    d. to automatically repair problems with files and folders that the scan detects, select automatically fix file system errors. Otherwise, the disk check will be a problem, but not to fix them.

    e. to carry out a thorough, check select search for and attempt recovery of bad sectors. This analysis tries to find and repair physical errors on the disk itself, and it may take much longer to complete.

    f. to check for errors file and the physical errors, select both automatically fix errors in file system and search for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.

    g. click on start.

Note: When running chkdsk on the drive hard if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.

Note: Make sure also that you have disconnected all external devices except the keyboard and mouse.

Note: If you are always faced with the question then I suggest you to upgrade on the spot and check if it helps.

How to perform an upgrade in Place on Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2255099
Note: Before you perform the upgrade on the spot, I would recommend you to back your files using windows backup.

  • Computer connects to the network, but not to the Internet, connect to the only local

    Hello world

OK, so I have a HP computer with the installed version of Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit. I've had it for almost 2 years now and have had no problems connecting to Internet... until now.

I can connect to networks... both wireless and cable, but I can not get Internet. I used the IP, subnet mask, gateway and server settings DNS to another computer that works with this specific local network just to see what happens... my computer has failed.
Until recently, I could connect to this WiFi connection in a coffee shop, but the last time I tried it didn't work. I've connected to the network but not the Internet. He told me that the DNS server did not. I'm starting to think that something is wrong with my computer.

I saw that the solution for some people running the Norton removal tool, however I had uninstalled Norton almost as soon as I got my computer 2 years ago and ran McAfee instead. I don't think that Norton should have an impact on me more.

Is there a solution to this problem... or I'll just have to try everything that is out there?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi MomPlaysBass,

Finally, my problem has been resolved - it wasn't my computer after all. The modem may only be connected to a computer. If you want to connect to another computer, you can connect the computer to the modem and then put it back. My computer worked fine after that. Whenever we want to switch between computers, even if I have to reset the modem.

I don't think you have the same problem, but just in case, you can try to reset your modem - it's a button on the back or a small hole that you can reach with a pen... Hold the stylus for about 5 sec or maybe a bit more and then let go. That should reset your modem and might help you with your problem. Your computer should also have created a restore point... If all else fails maybe you can try to get back to the final point where your computer worked.

  • I can connect to the local network, but not to the internet

Why in an internet connection, I can connect to the Local network, but not to the Internet.
I have valid IP address and configuration is good.

I recommend you read some threads here in the forum about similar issues.
If this problem occurs using the WiFi network, then check if you can use the connection to the local network.
    Using the WiFi network, you must check if the common WLan parameters are favourable;
Check if the encryption key is right; turn off filtering by mac address, check the TCP/IP protocol settings if it has been set to automatic, disable the firewall settings, rest you WLan router, check if you connected to the right SSID.

    Good bye

Install was not able to load the master file.
The application could not be initialized.

This happens because this file is missing:

    c:\windows\inf\sysoc.inf

There is no copy backup of this file on your system and run the System File Checker will not replace the missing file (sorry, that Microsoft committed Support Engineer 'experts').

You will need to get a real copy of your XP bootable installation CD or from a reliable source.

There's a copy on my SkyDrive, you can download - here's how:

I downloaded a copy of XP Pro SP3 file you need on my SkyDrive (everyone has a SkyDrive for file sharing).

You can download it and when you do, put a copy of the file in this folder (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):

    c:\Windows\Inf

Here is the link to my SkyDrive and you can get the file you need here:

    https://SkyDrive.live.com/?CID=6a7e789cab1d6f39&ID=6A7E789CAB1D6F39! 311

When you see the files available for download, you can not see the file extension (.exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, .zip, etc.), but when download you them they will have the right extension.

When you download the file (especially if you use Internet Explorer), when you get a chance to save the file, your browser is unable to save the file with an extension (by example, .exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, .zip, etc) then you will need to manually add the extension appropriate to the file when you download the file before you save it.

You can download the file without the extension, and then rename the file to add the appropriate extension.  You do not want to use a file named sysoc when the name of the file should really be called sysoc.inf (if the downloaded file has no extension, you will need to change the name of the file to add the appropriate extension to make it work.

You must then copy and paste the downloaded folder appropriate on your system.

  • Why my Acer R7 touch keyboard appears in Chrome and IE, but not other applications?

I am running Windows 8.1, with the latest drivers and updates. My touchpad works when using Chrome and IE, but not other applications. He has never had this problem until today.

I guess I posted the solution somewhere else, because it was originally a lot of questions, but here is my post of this thread as well:

"ok, strangest thing ever." Understand the question. The touchpad has become corrupted. I used the touchscreen keyboard Troubleshooter to solve another problem and voila! Rotation of restored Ezel. I think that Chrome is was as tactile keyboard operations from time to time, not sure. But I know that I fixed my problem. No expenditure necessary.

A link to download the touch keyboard Troubleshooter is to prevent it from this page:

  • WRTG54S to connect to the network, but not internet

I have a WRTG54S and Mediacom 12mbps. My router worked fine on my old laptop (a Dell Vista), he was sitting in a box for about 6 months and now that I have a new (Sony running 7) I can connect to my network, but not internet. I have updated the firmware of 7.6 to 7.8 without change. I have tried no security, wep and wap without change. Also, I cloned the MAC, once again no change. Windows cannot detect all problems, and when I try to activate the router to connect to the internet it always says connection failed. I can connect directly connected to the modem but not when connected to the router or wireless. Any ideas? Thank you

Problem solved. I had to go to a Motorola SurfBoard 4100 to a 5100. Thanks anyway
