• Why does something start downloading when I activate Fire Fox when I updates for Fire Fox and Add ons disabled?

  When I launch Firefox 18 on one of my two laptops, it starts the download of 'something', I don't know what.

  1. I have automatic updates turned off Firefox.
  2. I have automatic updates for plugins and addons turned off.
  3. I have the automatic updates of windows disabled.
  4. I have automatic updates for Kaspersky Internet Security is turned off.

  7. of curiosity I went down a coffee shop yesterday, connected to their wifi and enabled Firefox 18. 89 89 megabytes later, the download has stopped. I have no idea of fricking which downloaded after that I enabled Firefox 18 but I went nowhere on the internet, just sat there and watched my Blankpage (homepage) and looked at the mysterious download take place.
  8 I log on the internet today with my modem 56 k and two minutes later the download starts again.
  9. I have an old desk with Firefox 3.6 something on it with Kaspersky Internet Security and it does not occur on the desktop.

  Given that this only happens with Firefox 18, it seems reasonable to consider Firefox 18 related and possibly a problem of security or privacy, but I guess it could also be a question of settings. I upgrade my Internet Security every two days. I scan my laptop regularly. It still happens. I can't use Firefox for a browser because half my paltry 56 k of bandwidth is being sucked by some mysterious unsolicited download that occurs only when Firefox 18 is activated.

  I appreciate your response, but now do not know if it could have been anything in this answer because...

  This problem seems to have disappeared, don't know why but I have a possible theory. It's only a theory on my part, as I am not knowledgeable about the inner workings of Firefox. When I installed Firefox 18 there all automatic update options enabled by default. At the point where I turned off their all, I guess it started to download updates for all plugins and addons, like java, quicktime etc. etc. etc even if I had not personally initiated these downloads and updates. My theory is that once these downloads had begun, even if I had turned off the automatic update, it would continue the download of updates which had started and would not stop until she had done this.

  I do not disable anti-phishing and site wrong detection stuff, but I seriously doubt the update for these items would have been 89 megabytes of data, but I could be wrong.

  So for now, I'll close it and mark it resolved and continue to monitor to see if I have any more "strangeness" lights up.

  For the time of teeth, I bought and paid for a photoshop elements 12 windows for my Mac and obviously in retrospect I did a mistake downloaded but the serial member does not

  I just started my 30-day trial, but I'm having trouble to download photoshop.

  I have installed Office cloud creative and currently stuck on step 3 on this page:

  I need to use ACR 7.2 for its support of the RAW ARW of RX - 100 Sony files. But the Release Candidate version does not work with EPA 11. Adobe may ask for a more recent RC that works with the latest version of Photoshop Elements? If not, what is the schedule for an official release of ACR 7.2?

  Good news! This morning a patch is released, which has improved 11 Photoshop elements to 7.2 RAW. And now I can import and edit my Sony RX-100 RAW files. Hooray!

  I have a new Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit computer and just installed Photoshop Elements 9. When I use the "Text Horizontal" tool and click on the font drop down list to select a font, it only lists a small number of fonts and displays all fonts Windows standards, such as Arial, Times Roman, Verdana etc. who all display perfectly in my other applications such as Word, Excel, Publisher, etc. Notepad. Anyone has any ideas as to why all my Windows fonts are not displayed in the drop-down list? Y at - it a particular setting that I need to configure it to Photoshop 9 see all my fonts in Windows?

  You use a laptop or a laptop with a screen short? If yes you can normally highlight the current name of the font and then use the top and down arrow keys to scroll through the complete list.

• Current content does not work in Photoshop elements 14

  I use Photoshop elements on a Mac under OS 10.10.5 14 (Yosemite). Until recently, content aware function worked beautifully. Now, for no apparent reason, it is not. I use the lasso tool to describe the part of the photo, that I want to delete. I select edit/selection/content aware fill. I get the "mobile dash", but nothing beyond that. Can someone help me get this working again if I can do a better job of photo editing? Thank you.

  After you go in Edit > fill > Content Aware, press the Option key, click reset and see if that makes a difference.

  

  Also, check the settings of the Lasso tool in the tool options and make sure that the pen is set to 0 (zero) px

  I've recently recovered from a corrupted hard drive and had to install creative suite cs6 on the new hard drive. I saved the dmg installation files on my hard drive, external, although until the PC has become corrupted.

  Then I reinstalled the new software with code series without problem, and I can open most of the suite with the exception of photoshop and illustrator. I uninstalled and did a review of adobe but sweeper who did not much at all that he did not recognize the special dmg file that I used for the installation. So after about 1 half uninstall and reinstall and a full turn to do that again it is still unable to open.

  Photoshop dialog: unexpected and unrecoverable problem has occurred. Photoshop will now stop.

  Illustrator: comes with a great dialog detailed thread hangs

  So this morning the problem has been resolved.

  I called support Adobe and the man serve me open laptop remotely and uninstalled all the software and then deleted all the adobe files in the system folder and the library folder.

  Anyone who deals with this also could do themselves if they are confident.

  I downloaded Photoshop cs6 trial and when I click on the Photoshop icon to open the program I get a window:

  Photoshop.exe - Entry Point not found

  The procedure entry point GetLogicalProcessorInformation is not found in the KERENEL.32.dll dynamic link library.

  What can I do?

  I already tried to reinstall...

  I was able to get online with Adobe cat and they had me download Adobe Application Manager and navigate to the file that was downloaded to my computer and double click on the setup of the application in this folder and then installed.  So for me, the problem has been resolved.

  For a few weeks, my creative suite was considering I tested photoshop...

  Now my creative cloud tells me that the trial version has expired...

  

  I launched adobe cleaner, but I have these messages in the log file:

  Hmm, if you are unable to connect, possibility of corruption Adobe Application Manager.

  As per instructions above provide control over the mentioned files.

  Rename the c: SLStore > ProgramData > Adobe.

  ProgramData folder will be hidden by default, enable the option Show files and folders.

  Then following the procedure, instead of simple uninstall and reinstall.

  Uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud application.

  If you face any problem try CC Uninstaller:

  Using creative cloud | Uninstall the creative cloud desktop application

  After removing Adobe Creative Cloud applications, follow these steps:

  Step 1:

  Open the c: drive and navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86)------\Adobe " common files".

  Open the Adobe folder and delete folders named Adobe Application Manager and OOBE.

  Step 2:

  Navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe.

  Open Adobe file and if present the file to remove Adobe Creative Cloud . [* important]

  Step 3:

  Press Windows button (located between Ctrl and Alt buttons) with the key R together at once, you will get a command window.

  Type below command and press the enter"" key.

  AppData

  Then go to the Local > Adobe.

  Open the Adobe folder and delete folders named AAMUpdater and OOBE.

  Temporarily disable anti-virus and firewall.

  
  

  Step 5:

  Click on the link below and download Adobe Application manager and install the same:

  Have you tried to reset the preferences files?  Also you can try Photoshop preferences files delete and then uninstall and reinstall Photoshop.
