Why Firefox doesn't allow to my Google calendar to work - it worked before.
I get the following messages...
The page is not redirecting properly

From the indicator is provided by Google, in the case where one or more of the Google cookies that Firefox stores corrupted, inconsistent or outdated, could you try erased? Here's how to clear all cookies from Google:
While displaying a page on google.com, try either:
- Right click and select View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies".
- (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > 'view the Cookies '.
- Click on the globe or padlock icon in the address bar > additional information > "View Cookies".
In the dialog box that opens, the top box should have entered already google.com , and you can delete cookies from the site individually.

Firefox has a plugin that allows you to play. Stream AVI files in the browser.
There are of course more types of file stream only. AVI that vlc media player (a very popular program) can play.
Why doesn't firefox allow these types of streams, that is to say - FLV to play using the browser firefox via the plugin?
Firefox does not even allow users to manually set this behavior.
I think it's ridiculous to have the potential to be a great another browser, but not yet the chance to compete because of this inconceivable gap.I got an advance on the answer here:

I don't want Google as my home page, or use it as my default search engine. WHY IS that Firefox is constantly reset my homepage to Google? I hope no more Google, so I DON'T want TO HAVE IT as MY HOMEPAGE. It's really pissing me off to have to return my homepage almost everytime I open Firefox. In addition, I have my anti-spyware configured to block any attempt to change my homepage, and I see the warning popping up almost every 20 minutes. This is NOT acceptable and begins to make me question YOUR credibility if you put in your service to the things that are reached that the user very clearly and in a targeted manner wants.
I've been a user of Mozilla for something like 18 years. This latest version is the FIRST TIME that I felt like your service is less above board. Fix it, or I'll find something else. I won't be using a product that ignores my intended way of use. I only give you the way to lea to solve this problem, because you have (at least appeared) reliable up to this point. My patience is not long in this respect.
I'm sorry that you are having this problem. I can assure you that we will be using the homepage of your choice, and w are not even in partnership with google, because it is not something that Mozilla did it on purpose (that we will always respect your choice to the user)
I would try the following:
- Sometimes, this can result in a corrupted Firefox profile. Try the procedure described in How to set preferences that will not save and let me know if it works.
- If this fails, try an update of Firefox, Firefox Refresh - reset the parameters and modules
- Finally, this can be caused by malware. Try looking for malware with scanners to troubleshoot Firefox problems caused by malicious software

Every now and then, Firefox will have created zillions of directories and the files cached in the directory for a Firefox profile. The directories are called 0 (zero) and F (using the hexagonal as numbers names, i.e.g), and within each of them will be more directories (with two names of hexadecimal digit). The last time this happened (2 weeks ago), these directories ate ALL my free space on the hard drive (about 46 GB of a value).
Why does this happen? Can I stop it from happening? If so, how?
Thank you.
Yes, it should be easy reset.
It can be put in
- Options-> | Advanced | --> | Network | -> Web content caching
Management of auto-cache to replace] - See #w cached web-contentweb-content-_cached
Probably your auto adjustment has been replaced and the box should uncheck.
I know that Firefox split cache up like this IIRC it allows faster cache and solves fragmentation issues.
46GB which seems a surprising amount and cannot be good if he eats all the hard disk space. I also know that the file places.sqlite is a variable size, but it is based on the system in use.
The regular HTTP cache is also defined without doubt intelligently, but can be replaced by the user
This has some background info- https://developer.Mozilla.org/en-us/docs/HTTP_Caching_FAQ
- http://KB.mozillazine.org/browser.cache.disk.capacity
My own settings seen in everything: support are
browser.cache.disk.capacity 358400 browser.cache.disk.smart_size_cached_value 266240 browser.cache.disk.smart_size.first_run false
My use of the cache is limited to about 350 MB

Why Firefox come in 4th in a Google search?
Enter the search term "Firefox" for a Google search results in Firefox 4 future results.
The position is not the biggest problem, which is a very big problem, is the fact that the other results are fraudulent Web sites that install spyware and adware software during installation. I already talked to a person who has been duped by this, because he expected that Firefox would come first and clicked away.
This is a MAJOR issue for Firefox as it will discourage people from using it if they install it inadvertently from a scam site. The big question is... is deliberately disrupt the search results so that Chrome will get the best market share of Google? Even they aren't, don't you think they should do the honourable thing and make sure that Firefox comes first, I mean it's not like they manipulate and censor the results of research, so why didn't they in this situation. I was always a big fan of Google, but this is the first time I feel that they can get something. I'll probably address this on a forum of Chrome as well because it is a very serious matter for the livelihoods of Firefox, which have already had to deal with Microsoft. I have good memories of NCSA Mosaic and the legacy of Firefox and feel angry over this.Looks like a change in the terms of use Google which may have brought changes in the pages of search results. See the screenshot
I don't know what it looked like before because I use ABP filterset blocks this redish / pink section altogether - all "ads" are blocked.Google less noble? They sell advertising! The difference now-a-days is this very low shade for the paid advertising section is almost impossible to see. I remember, the bluish tint was easier to see. Then again, maybe it's the eyes just these oldman not seeing red, but also the blues?

Why Firefox doesn't load the JCPenney update web page?
I just spent an hour on the phone with JCPenney, and then we are cut off. The gal is telling me where things are running on their new website, and I'm telling him that no such thing appears on my page.
After that, we got cut, I opened Google Chrome just for the heck of it and used my LastPass to open a session for JCPenney. LO & this IS! All these things the gal was trying to tell me about the page - are actually on the page.
Now why Google Chrome will load the new site of JCPenney as Firefox continues to load the old site?
Thanks a bunch! It worked.

Why firefox doesn't answer after that I submit my crash report?
When I open Mozilla, Mozilla's Crash report screen comes up. After I sent the report, another Mozilla Crash report screen appears asking to send another report. I have dk what crash ID is. When I go to the summary report, it is incredibly long.
User Agent
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; .NET CLR 1.1.4322 .NET CLR 2.0.50727;. PC Media Center 4.0; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729;. yie8)
Hmm, this is her nasty. We will see if we cannot solve it.
I would need a few details to help better, if the solutions below does not work. I need to know what options are selected in the reporter on the accident, and one of the crushing of the reports will also be very useful - don't you worry that it's long, useful data on why this happens can probably be found somewhere in there. See the Mozilla Crash Reporter article on how to find reports, "Reports outside Firefox display" section points to where you can find the reports.
But first, lets see if we can not get Firefox started without crashing - here is a link explaining how to start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode. Make sure that no instance of Firefox is running before you start Firefox Safe Mode - you can check this by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete to bring up the Task Manager, and under processes tab verify that there are no firefox.exe in the list. If there is, highlight it with the mouse and kill the process. Then start Firefox in Mode safe of Firefox as explained in this article.
For a first try, just to click on the button 'Continue in Mode safe' and see if Firefox starts.
If this brings Firefox to life, it is probably an extension, a theme (or a combination) causing accidents. Close Firefox and restart in Safe Mode and this time mark "Disable all add-ons" and click the make changes and restart"" button. This will disable all add-ons (extensions, themes and plugins) and restart Firefox in normal mode. If it starts, you can start allowing your modules one by one to find the cause of the accident.
When you have found the culprit add-on, you can again start Mode without failure of Firefox and disable all add-ons and then start Firefox in normal mode, uninstall the fisherman and reactivate all your other addons. Please post back here on the problematic add-on information (and all the details, you can find about it), so it can be studied further.
Let me know how the above work, and if I can be of further assistance. Detailed feedback is appreciated and helps us help more users with similar problems.

I am a user of Firefox 40.0.03. I put Google as a homepage of my start page and tabs. Lately, Firefox has started taking the freedom to change my preferences from Google to Yahoo preferences. In the last two days, I changed the setting from Yahoo to Google at least 10 times. But whenever I have shut down my system, Yahoo goes Google. I checked my system for any mischievous adware and Add-ons, but there are not.
I don't want to use Yahoo. Is it a policy of Firefox to push Yahoo down our throats?https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/how-to-fix-preferences-wont-save
Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with surf Protection, can protect the files in the folder of Firefox profile against the changes. If you have this software, then check the settings or uninstall this software.

Why Firefox doesn't open the printer dialog box whenever it starts
When Firefox opens the printer dialog box opens automatically - why and how can I make sure that he does this.
This never used to happen on previous versions of firefoxSome web pages automatically shows the print dialog box. In particular, the pages Web sites have specially formatted for printing can do.
Restore you tabs that you have opened previously, or commissioning with your home page (s)? I suspect that one of them generates the dialog box. You can view by clicking on each of them and reload the page to see if it's on this page.

I just upgraded to 25.0 FireFox and I have problems of visualization of Google ads and Facebook comments and love on my site (wellfitstyle.com). All other browsers show Google adds comments in the right sidebar and Facebook and like below each post. Many people in Eastern Europe (where I am) using FireFox and I would like to know how this problem can be solved.
TNX.
Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.
(If you use it, switch to the default theme).
- Under Windows, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
- On Mac, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key option key when starting Firefox.
- Under Linux, you can open Firefox 4.0 + with leaving Firefox then go to your Terminal and running Safe Mode: firefox-safe-mode (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
- Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.
Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .
To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.
The report please come back shortly.

Why Firefox doesn't let me add an exception?
Firefox tells me that a site has an invalid security certificate, I know. It ask if I want to add an Exception and I click-to-add - on. It appears the Add Security Exception window and this window tells me that this site has a valid certificate and there is no need to add an exception; but I should add an exception and he won't do it for me. Why?
I work in a secure test lab and use Firefox to connect to our systems under test. Every time that we have change or add hardware to add exceptions to connect to a system. I did it for years with Firefox, but now Firefox 4 seems confused. We must now use AE, which I wouldn't have enough.

Why firefox doesn't go very large print even after that I customized to print smaller.
I downloaded Firefox and the screen is very large fonts and the screen is big too.
Check that you are not running Firefox in compatibility, or with a reduced screen resolution mode.
You can open the properties of the desktop Firefox shortcut via the context menu and check under the tab "compatibility".
Make sure that all items are disabled in the tab "Compatibility" in the Properties window.Try to assign layout.css.devPixelsPerPx 1.0 (default is - 1) on the topic: config page.
If necessary adjust the value by 0.1 or 0.05 (1.1 or 0.9) until icons or text looks right. You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.
You can accept the warning and click on "I'll be careful" to continue. You can watch the Default FullZoom Level or NoSquint extension to define a page zoom and the size of the default font on the web pages.

Why firefox doesn't do content XML like the other browsers?
I am learning AJAX and PHP and have problems with certain exercises. The .php file renders fine in Chrome and Edge (in folding tree), but not in Firefox. See attachments. What could be the cause of this (mis) behavior?
It seems that Firefox isn't finding your XSL stylesheet or does not apply to it.
Can you provide a link to your PHP page so someone could take a look?
