  There are 2 versions of Adobe Flash:

  • an ActiveX version for IE only
  • a plug-in version for most of the other browsers including Firefox
  • On a Windows system, you must always update both individually.

  You don't seem to have the Plugin for Firefox installed version. If you did, in the Add-ons > Plugins you would see "Shockwave Flash (version)".

  Install or update Adobe Flash

  Go to tools | Options | Applications. The first 4 entries focus on Adobe. Make sure that the association is your version 9.1. If this is not the case, click on the association that shows.   Just to let you know, Adobe Reader is now up to version 9.4. You can go to the Adobe website to download the latest version.
