  • Error "the system has recovered from a serious error".

I googled for explanations on the incident, but none of the directly applied results.

I often leave the computer on overnight. In this way a project open to something like Dreamweaver is still sitting here where I left it, ready to go. This morning when I turned on the monitor, the system was at the login screen. I also got the message "the system has recovered from a serious error". With no current process performance (except at idle), something happened during the night. Any recently installed software or hardware. And I keep the defraged the drive C and with enough free space. Good anti-virus and anti-malware software.

Any suggestions on how to better diagnose it and prevent it from happening again?

It restarts itself automatically after some time when it is inactive (it never restarts when I am using any application) and when you start BACK it gives an error message that says: "the system has recovered from a serious error". When I click on send error report, it says that the error report has received a corrupted report and gives me some options, which make is running a system restore, the other being to go to control panel > Add/Remove programs and check the updates for the software that is installed and see if all the programs software updated and then run a diagnosis if the software is delivered with one. I recently received an update from Nero, but it is not listed in Add/Remove programs. I then ran restoration system a couple of times in safe mode, but still has no effect. Someone at - it ideas?

I solved the problem by uninstalling and reinstalling Nero 11.

Each of the last depressed, ibmfilter.sys is involved in error checking.

Still, the nature of the kernel stack overflow is that all these filter drivers may contribute to the problem.  Most of the attached drivers are Symantec drivers, it seems reasonable that remove the Symantec software would certainly take care of the issue.  However, remove the Chuck ibmfilter can free enough battery to avoid the problem as well.  Or update the drivers involved could also have an impact, if changes have been made to account for this type of situation.

    Hello

The solution can be easy or difficult depending on the cause of the problem.

Check with a real store of the computer (not the leeks and the glances at a Best Buy or other stores)
    or HP support.

    ------------

    The Easy:

You still get the Bug_Check? Update the BIOS, chipset of low-level drivers and other large
device drivers. Those included in the recovery is very old in the time of the computer. (Do this to be
you still get the error or not.)
