  I just installed my Media Hub and am very happy to have it on my home network.  However, every time I connect to my VPN company at work (I work from home all day, every day), he launched the offline media pole.  It reconnects as soon as I hang up the VPN.

  It's real simple's happening at neworks using VPN Corp.  It deals with security and once you understand that it makes it simple.  Without VPN, you are conencted to your home network.  Call the NetA.  All NetA devices are in the same area code (simple analigy).  Then the PC know how contact on the network of companies IE NetA. OK, connect us to a corp network called NetB.  At this point, all codes of areo change toward a new area code to NetB.  The PC is no longer connected to NetA.  It is a Tunnel. The tunnel goes from your PC via your router to the network Corp and stops there. No connectivity to anything except the PC and the net Corp.  So you lose connectivity to any device on NetA.  Now you are conencted to a different area code.  Once that disconnect from NetB, your connection is restored to NetA.  Just like your experience.  Corp this person not the NetA to NetB connect.  I hope this helps.

• DAQ Assist reading bad voltage

  I use the DAQ Assistant VI to read a voltage analog input of a card of National Instruments PCI-6221. I read the AI0 pin voltage. I provide voltage directly on this pin of a continuous feed, but the measurement of voltage obtained from the DAQ Assistant is incorrect: it seems to be reduced by a factor of about 1/3. For example, if I have 4 volt power to pin AI0, DQA help bed 1.43 Volts. I used a multimeter to confirm that the voltage on the PIN AI0 is actually 4 Volts and I know that the problem is with my LabVIEW program and not my diet.

  Here are the steps that lead to my problem:

  1. in the block diagram, I insert a block DAQ Assistant.

  2. in the Properies of the DAQ Assistant, I select an analog input-> voltage

  3. select channel ai0

  4. I click "test" to test the channel

  5. the tension is indicated as being 1.43 Volts, although 4 Volts is provided to pin (this is confirmed by a multimeter).

  6. to ensureI click OK to complete the configuration of the DAQ Assistant. I run the program and draw blood. The graph also 1.43 Volts.

  Does anyone have an idea why this can be produced. I have spent a good 4 hours trying to diagnose this and haven't found anything.

  In simple terms, hardware DAQ (measures of e/s) interface with NOR-DAQmx (or other drivers NEITHER as NOR-SCOPE) to measure, while the Instruments are often external to the computer and not rely on a computer to measure and use generally the VISA (or an abstraction of the VISA).

• Multiple Instances of the Application to access the same DAQ hardware

  I have a relatively simple application that reads from a device of data acquisition (OR-9205 connected to NI WLS-9163) wireless.  I would like to run multiple instances of the executable, but I get the error-201105 (resource reserved) as soon as the DAQmx task starts on the second instance.  Each instance tries to acquire different channels of the same DAQ hardware.  Is this a problem with the data acquisition device, or DAQmx in general?  Thank you.

  Hey Joe,

  Unfortunately, you can only one type of access channel with each program.  For example, you might HAVE a program access and another use AO, but you can't have two programs different AI the same access card.  It is common among all of the DAQ hardware to NEITHER.

  Data acquisition is what is the real measure of the signals.  The Terminal is just a simple way to route signals for data acquisition.  If you can actually the terminal box, cable and card DAQ.

  I highly recommend talking to your representative local sales OR to make sure that you get exactly what you need.

For example, if I set the sampling rate of 2000, continuous sample mode, I use read.vi DAQmx in a while loop and set the "number of samples per channel" to 100. I want to plot these data over time using a XY Chart and also save this data. So I add a 'Medium' function to get the average of 100 samples per each loop (medium, there are 20 release of data per second). But when I put a 'number of samples per channel' much more small (for more data per second), there are a few problems. It seems that the program cannot read the data as much and get the average at a higher frequency. I don't know where is the problem. Overall, the collection of data more frequently? Maybe I didn't articulate my question. I'll upload a simple program later if necessary. Thank you.

  -It depends on your signal and the type of device you have. Your DAQ provides a package of signals? Also, what type of signal you want to measure? You must select DAQ that matches that. Take a look at the following before you start:

  There is no option to simulate the traditional device. You need hardware for it so I would say to simulate a PXI system that has a configuration similar to the PCI-6014 and make a small change to your request...

  None of the libraries above seem to provide access the number of traditional DAQ hardware

  I have a 18 PXI chassis containing 2 DMM, in housing 3 and 14.

  The DMM may be a mixture of type OR-4060 or NOR-4070.

  The system is controlled by a Teststand sequence employing IVI - DMM

  When you set the IVI logical name step, I am referring to IVI device defined Sessions

  Max - rutime determined.

  Labview VISA functions using I can determine the model, i.e. 4060 or 4070.

  I don't think there is just a function that you can use to identify and collect information on all cards with your. For traditional DAQ devices in particular I suggest using the Information.vi of DAQ devices get.

  If you are referring to push notifications on your desktop, you most likely have Facebook as an internet account on your MacBook. You can withdraw from your account, or disable notifications for it.

  Open system preferences > Internet accounts

  Select Facebook
