Windows Movie Maker will not publish my videos properly!
Hey guys. anyway I publish a video Director and 15 Minute long play through it fine, but after its publication, and I watch the video file it freezes at the same image (the media player does not freeze, he continues to play through, the video comes out badly) and all the audio stops and then the screen blacks on entirely for the rest of the video. Does anyone have a solution to this? I'd appreciate any help. Thank you

My Windows Movie Maker will not publish my video! Help!
Whenever I try and publish my video, about 19% through, it will say "Windows Movie Maker cannot save the movie to the specified location. "Verify that the original source files used in your movie are still available, that the backup location is still available, and that there is enough available disk space and then try again .
I tried everything that I could find-unchecking filters, reset, settings, shorten, taking the effects, transitions, and even download free audio and put it back later. Please help , I spent all day on this video.
It is 4 minutes and 18,62 megabytes.
Thanks for your help, but they are already all WMV format.
====================================
Still may be worth a try... convert wmv WMV.
This will create a new version of the file that would work. Volunteer - MS - MVP - Digital Media Experience J - Notice_This is not tech support_I'm volunteer - Solutions that work for me may not work for you - * proceed at your own risk *. -

Windows Live Movie Maker transformed my 16:9 video automatically at 4:3
I use Windows Movie Maker Live to edit my videos, but it turns my videos from HD widescreen (MTS format) automatically to the 4:3 format with black bars on both sides. When I select 16:9 in the edition, it places an another black bars up and down the sides and the ruins of the entire video. I'm using Vista in my laptop, but my friend using Windows 7 do not encounter this problem.
Can anyone help?Hello

When I import a video file into Windows Movie Maker, it plays the video and no Audio how to import the video file so that it contains the audio when the time to line up? Help?
Watch the video file. The last 3 letters represent the file format.
Windows Movie maker only supports the following video file formats:
Video files: .asf, .avi, .dvr-ms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv
If yours is not on the above list, Movie Maker will have probel play.
In this case, you will have to google for a free video converter and change the format of your video file to WMV. WMV format is the most reliable format for Windows. For the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem.

Windows Movie Maker won't let me publish my videos!
When I 'publish on this computer' dialog box is and does is display "Estimating Time."... "no matter how long I leave it. does not, never the numbers on time. It does not have a file instead I specified, but it goes to a few bites and then stops. I have no idea why he would do that.

Check the file formats that you had inserted in movie maker. You might have used files that are not supported by the Director.
Photo: jpg, png, bmp
For video: WMV, AVI
Music: mp3, wav, wmaNote: If you use google for formats of files supported by Windows Movie Maker, you will find that the list is much longer than what I've listed. This is because I find those on my list are the most reliable and you don't have to worry about not having the right codec for files.

My Windows Movie Maker won't let me publish my movie... Help!
I tried to publish my movie I did on Windows Movie Maker to my computer, but about 65% in edition, it stops and says:
"Windows Movie Maker cannot publish the movie to the specified location. Check that the payor source in your movie files are always available, that the publishing location is still available, that there is enough available disk space, and then try again. »
As far as I know, all mentioned in the post is fine (I checked all original source files, I tried different locations of publication, and I know that there is enough disk space, because the video is only about 2 and a half minutes), but I always get the message when it reaches 65%. I have looked through many forums on Windows Movie Maker does not, but none of them does not seem to answer my question.
Help, please!

Just some thoughts...This happens usually when the source files are
not totally compatible and also may be linked
transitions. In Movie Maker, you could try to go into tools.
Options / Compatibility tab and disable all
the filters. Also you can try to convert your source files
to different formats.Several formats are apparently compatible with

Video - wmv or dv - avi
Music - wma, wav, wmvAnd you can try to remove the transitions.

Project Windows Movie Maker won't play in Windows Media Player
I created a 'film' in Windows Movie Maker - not a bad little program. I used to be a professional video tape, and you can do things with Movie Maker and that you can't do with the edition of tape cassette - even in a television station in a big city.
The film plays well in Movie Maker, but he won't play in Windows Media Player (Version 11). I have Vista Home Version on my computer.
I want to be able to send e-mail to friends and family who do not have Windows Movie Maker - but have Windows Media Player (not sure which versions have all my friends). Until now, whenever I try to play the movie in Media Player, I get the following message:
Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The player might not support the file type or does not support the codec used to compress the file.
When I click on the "get help from web" button, it takes me to this page:
This page does not give me the solution to the problem and gives me no option to download/install the codec I need. I don't know what a codec is and don't really care to know. I just need to know:
Should which codec I?
Where can I download it?
What are the two products of Microsoft. Can they be compatible? One of the options presented during "editing" the file is to be sent by e-mail. Not much good if the e-mail recipient is unable to play.
I can also play the movie using Real Player or I-Tunes - but it of okay for me if they work in these players or not, since my friends and family would be no players on their computers.

Hello
Frequently, I use Windows Movie Maker to edit videos of my friends... But WHENEVER I have to edit a video, and I play it back it ALWAYS freezes... Not the program, but the video Clip... And when I publish it, it freezes EVEN in the video as the preview... My ONLY solution is to keep cutting & removing parts of the video, but my videos are always less than 5 Minutes of time... Please HELP if you can... Thank U...
Oh, I already know about the Type of Format already... All my videos are 'WMV '... And besides that & "AVI", any other Type of video Format won't let you edit video, he would go to the Audio Section... But I checked my memory @ BobinSECO and my computer says it was good & right now to 4.0 GB (RAM)...

Windows Movie Maker will not publish my movie on my computer
I tried to post this video to my computer from Windows Movie Maker. The video is long, only 42 seconds, so I doubt that there is a problem of length.
When I try to publish the video, a dialog box appears and says "Windows Movie Maker cannot publish the movie to the specified location. Verify that the original source files used in your movie are still available, that the publishing location is still available, that there is enough available disk space, and then try again. »
I've checked everything and nothing seems wrong or irrelevant. I had to completely wipe my computer about two days due to the 'Blue screen of death' experience, but I was able to install any new drivers and restore my computer to its factory settings. I don't know what to do. Help, please!
