  I suggest you do a hard reset with the printer.

  Hard Reset:

  Take out the toner cartridges.

  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall

  Wait for 30 seconds

  Plug the power cord into the printer and the wall (be sure that the printer is plugged into the wall and not a surge protector)

  Replace the toners/cartridges in the printer

  If you have Windows Vista 64 - bit - that could be part of your DIF, HP seems to have only the print driver "universal" for the 64 bit version of Windows Vista.  :-(

  I would like to begin by ensuring that the printer setting was changed to a custom paper size.  I checked the manual on this printer for printing and loading of customer support. It is best to go in the menu FILE and print and change the media inside the paper/quality tab.  You can find complete instructions for this process for Windows and Mac on page 33 and 34 in the Manual.  Loading custom types of media for the printer is covered on pages 26-27. Recommended print and copy papers are listed on pages 18 and 19. If you have done the above steps and it still blocks which could point to dirty rollers or debris of paper in the printer.   You specify the model of your printer, but this issue seems to be pretty common with several models of the HP Photosmart Premium.  I saw no definitive answer.

  The printer ejects white of paper when printing sheets - a list of 10 "solutions" of HP who seem less and less relevant and more desperate towards the end of the list

  General HP Print troubleshooting suggestions.  Note that if you have not used the printer for a long time, it is possible that the print head is blocked.  Run the cleaning steps proposed could help - but they use a lot of ink.

  If the print head is really in bad shape, it might have to be replaced.  I wouldn't do it until everything else has failed.

• HP 4632: HP4632 need to print on 1/2 sheet of paper, how?

  My impression is 1/2 sheet of paper. I cut half empty and save to print another 1/2 sheet... On my HP 1010 I just put a pile of leaves 1/2 (so 5.5x8x5) and press on print and it just printed. That tells me that I'm using the wrong size paper.

  There is no 5.5 x 8.5 to choose paper size. There is a paper size, I can choose in the configuration of the 5 x 7 print - but when I choose that it, it prints on the 5.5 x 8.5 paper, but it narrows the information down to 1/3 the size adequate. "No place is' zoom ' or '100% ' so there is no option that I see to change that... I chose the landscape or Portrait and to cut down.

  I must be an easy way to use sheets of 1/2!

  This printer does not have the ability to create a custom size, which is what you do.

  There is a work around. You can configure a profile custom in Windows printers and devices.

  You also need to create the same dimensions of the page that you are working on your writer document (I guess that MS Word?).

  • Go to control panel > printers and devices and click once on your printer to select it.
  • At the top of the window below the toolbar (file Edit View tools help), click on the print server properties.
  • On the Forms tab, click the box to create a new form.
  • In the paper size: entry to the right size you want.
  • Name the form above and click on the button Save the form.
  • Click on leave the window.

  Leave the windows open.

  Now, open your document editor and change the Page layout. In MS Word 2010 (for example), you can click the drop-down list size and then highlight the new size you created as it will create the new size in the layout options. If your does not, I suggest that you manually change the size of the page to work on.

  When you are finished editing, go to print > printer properties and select the paper/quality tab (or equivalent).

  Click the Advanced Options button > paper size. Look for the custom size in the drop-down list.

  That should do it. If the printer refuses to accept the new size now, I guess the new paper sensor interferes on this model and will not allow the half sheet for food.

• PIXMA MP210. When I print, I get more than one sheet of paper that goes thru.

  When printing, more than one sheet of paper passes through. So far, it still prints what I need. Then I get a message that there is a paper jam. I took almost all of the pieces, but can find no documents or anything in animal feed. I have not changed anything before starting.

  Performing a cleaning of the printer roller may solve the problem you are having.  To do this, please follow the steps located here.  We recommend that at least three cleaning of rollers on the printer.
