This becomes worse and worse until I got then to restart the laptop, or put into hibernation and power up again. I tried to gently move the screen to see if the connection is loose, but the screen just keeps blinking like before. The flashing is random, it's like watching the CPU flash light but its my going fullscreen. It seems to happen after the mode 'sleep', it happens every time, but I would say more than 50 percent.

  If I understand your message that after upgrade to macOS Sierra as your MacBook Pro doesn't work well for you. I know how it is important for your MacBook Pro to be in place and functional after the software update. Reset the PRAM and repair the disk are key steps in troubleshooting. I also recommend reinstall macOS Sierra of OS X Recovery.

  How to reinstall OS X
  

  OS X can be installed on the same version or an earlier version of Mac OS X, without deleting your data. You don't need to remove or disable the existing system first.

  1. Start of OS X Recovery now command-r immediately after start-up or that you restart your Mac. Release the keys when you see the Apple logo. Start-up is finished when you see the OS X Utilities window.
  2. If you do not want to wipe your drive before reinstalling OS X, open utility disk in OS X Utilities window, then use disk utility to erase the drive. Quit disk utility when done.

  After upgrading my lenovo T430u bios to version 2.13 it freezes at a black screen, and windows does not load. My machine has windows 7 Professional and the only way to make it work is to reset the bios settings, but after awhile, it freezes at black screen and windows 7 does not load again and need to reset the settings of the bios once more. Hope someone of you gyus can help me with this since is very frustrating.

  My upgrade to Vista (64 bit) to Windows 7 appears smooth, with all works well. When I tried Age of Conan mmo for the first time, he loaded the game, but within seconds, the screen started flickering black/game/Office a few times alternately between the three with in game its operation across all three screens.   I had installed version of bad for graphics drivers intel so I opend laptop in safe mode and then deleted bad drivers after that I restarted the laptop, then it opened again, once disappeared from the blank screen I installed the latest version of the graphics drivers intel BIOS driver from following link:
