  You just bought a new computer and I am now under Windows (all new for me) 10.  I have an Apple iPhone 5 c and you have downloaded iCloud for Windows.

  I accidentally changed the setting on my iPhone that a photographs set there and about 20 have ended in iCloud on the phone and I want to upload them to my folder of photos to the computer.  I tried to connect the phone to the computer to download as I would normally, but these pictures can be seen on the phone to download.  I have read the forums on how to access these photos, and it seems to be using iCloud for Windows.  Please could you give me some instructions on how to use icloud for windows to try to locate missing photos that are somewhere in iCloud. ?  A big thank you to all those who might take me through this complicated task.

• Cannot access a document pages to icloud after Windows update

  After a recent upgrade to iCloud on my 10 Windows PC, I couldn't open one of my iCloud Pages documents.  I see the file on my computer (iCloud drive Windows), iCloud.com / #Pages and on my other Apple devices, but I can't open or download.  The app Pages on my apple devices indicate a file update, but after 2 days it has not completed update.  I do not see the file on the iCloud.com / #iClouddrive, and I do not see it on the list of files to restore.  If I try to access it from iCloud.com / #pages, the error message is generic, indicating that "something" went wrong and try again later.

  Where to get this file?  Anyone know how I can access?

  For Windows 10, you will need a minimum of iCloud 5.2 for Windows installed. Check your version, because maybe that's a problem.

  My experience with Windows 10 so far is that the update of the anniversary has destroyed a Windows 10 (VirtualBox 5.1.4) system that worked before and will refresh not simply a true PC running Windows 10, due to an error in installation script.

  I've recently started using iCloud drive to synchronize documents between my Mac and iOS devices. Now, I want to assure you that I have local backups of these documents.

  I understand that the documents synchronized via iCloud are store locally in my Mobile user home/library/Documents folder. But when I check I made 2 folders: Documents Mobile and Mobile Documents.90391253.  The Documents Mobile folder seems to keep all the records that I created using Pages, drafts and TextEdit.  The second folder has files with obscure names such as ' JFJWWP64QD ~ com ~ goodiware ~ GoodReader. ". Records of Documents that I checked are empty.

  Why are there two folders of Documents Mobile? When you add a folder to a backup program, I would add two folders or just the folder Documents Mobile?

  I'm under MacOS Sierra. I am connected to my iCloud account. I activated the option Desktop and Documents, but I did NOT activate the option optimize Mac storage, because I wanted to make sure that all my files would be available locally, just in case, I would need to work without an internet connection.

  -J' noticed there now a menu iCloud in my sidebar in the Finder, with links to Documents and desktop.

  -J' also noticed that Documents is no longer presented in my favorites in my side bar of the Finder.

  -This last suggests that files saved in 'Documents' are not saved more on my HD... but only in iCloud, which isn't what I want.

  -Then, sailing in the Finder Macintosh HD/users / 'My account' /, I noticed that my Documents and desktop folders are more visible, as if these files are not saved in my home folder most. Which raises the question: where are My Documents and files on my HD, so they are still?

  With office and selected Documents, access to these files are now in the iCloud Drive, not in your home folder.

  My guess would be that they do not appear in your file because it would be confusing for many people to make them in two places.

  All about iCloud drive has been saved on your Mac. With the exception of the office and the Documents, they are in ~/Library/Mobile Documents. However, if you choose optimized storage, older documents are removed from your Mac. I don't know what is "old".

  ~/Documents and ~/desktop have new metadata indicating probably Finder does not display them in a Finder window, only in iCloud drive. They are not hidden in one of the normal methods of unix.

  I have not tested Time Machine or any other backup program. The folder still exist in your directory home, and they still have all the files, I don't think that changes anything.

  If the normal import process fails - get an account on OneDrive, Photos of Google or Upthere.com

  You can download the images to the cloud via the phone services and download them to the computer

• All the addon icons are missing in the window customize

  I use FF 3.6.18 on XP, Vista and Win7. Given that FF itself upgrade 3.6.18, Miss all kinds of icons of the addon. Needless to say most of the addons cannot work unless that icon there to click. Since the problem is on all of my PCs in various operating systems and upgraded to FF4 seems to make things worse, it looks like a bug in FF. Most of my friends who use Firefox have the same problem. It is a bug, or is it repairable? Does anyone know how to solve this?

  After, with great difficulty, eliminating the motor leads from my system, I tried half a dozen other things, but ultimately never gave up is fixed without wiping my hard drive clean. However, the latest update of Firefox (3.6.24) solved the problem! on all my computers! Don't know what you people at Mozilla has done, but thank you, thank you, thank you.   My setup of the computer must have a drive D: RAID mirrored with my user data on it and a SSD for the OS. Then I also have a network drive which is also a mirrored RAID disk that serves as my backup. I still have 2 copies of each work on the drive of local data file and after saving, more 2 copies on the network drive. I did lose a byte of data in 15 years even after several disk out of my drive to the operating system.

  1. you select no restrictions in the settings - General.

  2 your employer has no restrictions for you installation in settings > general > profiles & Device Management.

  3. you don't have any work email accounts which can put these restrictions as well.
