I'm sure other CMS like Drupal and Joomla do this automatically. There are chances that this will change in the future? Or maybe there is a reason why it's like that I forget?

  In my experience with BC as well as other systems, it is important to note that the pages and menu items are separated from each other.

  When a user creates a page it is not automatically added to a menu. Similarly, when a user changes the URL of a page that has been added to a menu, the menu item URL in question not is not updated automatically.

  So, if you changed a URL of the page that ends by "/ shop" to "/ sponsor ' you should be able to easily view this new URL in a browser. However, if you want the menu item that is linked to the old URL to reflect the new URL, then you will need to change the URL of item of the menu so they can talk to each other in the future.

  Yes, it's an extra step (crucial) update your menu items, but (in my experience) URL decisions are not something that is changed frequently - especially when it comes to SEO.

I don't have the little box that tells me that I can fix my computer or reinstall windows, NOTHING.   Last week, one of our machines (34 bit) Vista has begun to view Word files by an icon which ranges from normal Word icon.  This strange Word icon has the normal Word icon with a gray area at the bottom left.  In the grey area is a diagonal bar or a pencil.  (Too small to see clearly).

  It seems to behave like a normal Word document, but the icon is different.  When double click on the file, it opens Word application normally.  It prints as expected.  If I find a Word file on the server, the icon of the file word seems normal.  Once I move the computer, afterwards, the change icon.  For some, it changes shortly after I saved the document on the new computer.  Sometimes, the icon does not immediately change, and sometimes it does.  Sometimes, the icon changes after the updating of the computer.

  1. click on start and then click Control Panel-> click the default programs->, and then select the set Associations tab.
  2. locate .doc or another Office Word on extensions and select change program.
  3. search for Microsoft Office Word, and then click OK.

  Check if the word file is back to normal.

  If this does not work, I suggest to create a test user account and check if the settings file for the word files are normal.

• So dead computer battery died. Why the computer is not put in Hibernate or stop safely on its own?

  It must be a problem with Vista. When my computer battery runs out, my computer dies. Why is it not computer smart enough to know the battery died about to close?  When I used XP, the computer would Hibernate protection itself. With Vista, I get a warning that the battery is almost dead, but most of the time I don't get any warnings, the matrices of the computer.   Make sure that your power options are set correctly:

  Expand "critical battery Action.

  Make sure it is set to Hibernate or sleep, you like (Hibernate allows you to Exchange batteries without data loss).

  Expand "Critical battery level" and set the battery level at which this action take place (5-7% usually leaves enough power to go in hibernation).

  

  Click on 'Ok '.
  Once the laptop goes into hibernation, not to interrupt the process by removing the battery until the light on the hard drive and all the other lights stop flashing and power down.   Wow, that seems strange. I have no idea why this would happen, but I wonder if it is related to one of the Add-ons you have installed? I see a red icon in the status bar that I'm not familiar with, which leads me to believe that you might have other add-ons installed. One thing to try is to start Firefox Firefox with disabled modules (you can do this in the Help menu). If you do not see this problem in this mode, the problem is caused by one of the Add-ons. On the Tools menu, you can access the Add-ons and disable one by one. Remember to restart each time, and then test.

  If none of this takes care of this, my other suggestion would be Reset Firefox: Firefox Refresh - reset the parameters and modules
