    Hello

We have a number of users who need Google earth on computers for their guests.  These machines are running Windows 7 32 bit.  Note that these are not computers using VMWare view.

In the 1876 article, it says that google earth must be executed in OpenGL mode.  However this article was not updated for a year and referred to workstation 6 and 7 versions.  We run vSphere 4.1 update 2 with the latest tools installed.

The above article is always the source of optimul for more information or is there other available.  Is it possible to increase the default physical memory available for the video card to produce better results when rendering images?

You can increase the amount of video RAM on the virtual computer and see if it helps the application. See this article for more details:

    Help please!

Anshul has given a complete answer and you follow his advice, however I hit problems with the latest version of Google Earth on XP several machines at base and the easy answer is to uninstall it and install the previous version, it sucks I know but even if you get it installed you may well encounter difficulties with street view.

Have you checked the Web site of the manufacturer for a software dashboard updated?

Try to uninstall the modem driver and dashboard software.

Reinstall the software, but this time, do it using the compatibility problems

    Point to the driver files.

Right-click on the configuration file, and then click "troubleshoot compatibility".

    Wait, it detects the problem.

Click on the option "worked in an earlier version of Windows.

Select Windows 7 RTM or better Windows Vista SP2

    Click next

Click Start the program, wait, it installs

When the installation is complete, click Finish and save the settings.

See if the program works this time.

  • I try to install Google Earth and its failure and I get an error message: 0 x 80070002, how can I fix?

I try to install Google Earth on my Windows Vista Edition home premium and its failure and I get an error message: 0 x 80070002, how can I fix?

The error message indicates "file not found" - which often means a bad download.

Try another download of Google Earth - if the operation fails with the error message, then...

There are a few things you can try to solve this problem: -.

    type in the search box
    CMD. EXE
Right-click on the single file that is
    Select run as administrator
-the elevated command prompt window should appear
    At the command prompt, type
    CHKDSK C: /R
    and press the Enter key
We'll tell you that the drive is locked and the CHKDSK runs the next time he started - press Y and restart. The chkdsk command will take a few hours depending on the size of the disk, so be patient!

Once executed, the command CHKDSK Windows should start normally (possibly after a second auto) - then run the SFC

SFC - SFC System - Instructions
    Click the Start button
    type in the search box
    CMD. EXE
Right-click on the single file that is
    Select run as administrator
-the elevated command prompt window should appear
    At the command prompt, type

    SFC/SCANNOW

    and press the Enter key
Wait for that analysis at the end - make a note of any error messages - and then restart.

    Try installation again

  • Firefox doesn't recognize Google earth plugin

I use Firefox on a mac os x 10.6.8 14.0.1. I was on Google Maps and tried to use Google Earth, but he said I had to download the plug-in. I did it and it appears in the Internet Plug-ins folder, but does not appear in the add-on Manager page. I restarted FF and computer and also deleted the plugin and redownloaded it, but still when I go to Google Maps, it says that I still need to download. She works in Chrome and Safari. What I am doing wrong?

Try to reset the database of plugins in the profile folder and check again.
