Wi - fi connection delay
Once I connect after booting, my wifi doesn't connect for about 30 seconds or so, even if the automatic connection is enabled. It didn't happen when I was connected to the House, but since I started using a public network, this has happened. Any fix for that?

I'm new to the development of apploication of blackberry. I write this in reference to the below mentioned link.
I am applying in which I can download a XML from a web url and download data to URLs using webservice. The Web service uses ksaop2 and my code is similar to the code in the url above. I am able to download data in my 9800 Simulator, but whne I run cod file into another system, it shows error like "connecting Local time out after 120000' Someone please help me on this. Also, the application runs slowly. I add deviceside = true for MDS. I searched a lot and could not able to solve this problem.

I solved the problem. The problem was with the configuration of MDS. When I start the MDS, the command prompt was starting and outputs instantly without any error message. I have gone through several forums and all and atlast I know that the JDK installation had some problems. I corrected which and when I set the classpath to do this, the application works well.
I am posting this because I spent about 10 days to fix this and I hope that maybe this post will help someone else who is facing the same question.

RTMPS connection delayed due to the direct connection attempt

I have a big problem with the way the RTMPS connections are initiated in flash player.
One of my customer network infrastructure does not allow direct connections to my server via port 443, but allows connections proxified (using the CONNECT method).
The problem is that flash player expects the direct connection attempt to fail before trying the proxified... connection and on this direct infrastructure network connection timeout is 20 s (I can't change that).
Users must wait for this time to connect to the server...
Is there a way to tell the flash player do not attempt direct connection, or do not wait for this connection Timeout?
Perhaps a directive in the automatic proxy configuration (.pac) file?
I already tried every NetConnection proxyType values of parameter without success.
Any help would be appreciated!
You mentioned the 'CONNECT' method Have you tried "CONNECTOnly" that requires to initially use the default CONNECTION method and it is not always obey?
Documentation on NetConnection.proxyType:
Set the proxyType property before calling the NetConnection.connect() method.

New slow to connect behaviors (first)
I have 4 browsers currently installed. That is to say 10 to srware iron 28, pale moon 20.3 and, of course, firefox (v21 or 22)
ONLY Firefox has the following behavior and it is so even in "safe mode" and after a reinstall with v21 v22. Historical erasure and cache has no effect. And he only did that because I think that, last Thursday.
I start fine. Browser opens in 3-5 seconds. No problem until now!
Whatever the State of the tab (multiple tabs from the previous session), or only homepage tab, it takes then 40 + seconds to connect to, and then open the first page. After that, it is good as gold and clapping along well. But this initial delay becomes very irritating.
I assumed at first that it was caused by an update in Avast or Zonealarm as their "web protection" are a threat. But they were not guilty. Avast plugin has not been installed and Zonealarm has been installed but disabled. I even turned off their external components completely for a few tests and it made no difference. And, as I said above, I tried in safe mode to eliminate the possibility that it was one or more of my other plugins. No difference.
The fact that other browsers also instantly connect than ever (I am on a connection of optical fiber with typical download speeds greater than 65 MB) suggests it has nothing to do with any of the usual external guilty and must be something in firefox. But even that is strange, because I use v21 since it was released and v22 on and off since its release. The only reason why I'm not normally on v22 is that the problem of copy / paste has not yet been sorted. I was certainly not affected by connection delayed in two versions until a few days ago.

Sorry, you have problems. You already seem to have covered most things.
Try a new profile. Although the problem started recently it affects different versions of Firefox, so I suspect it's a problem of profile or external software. Note Firefox Safe mode does not affect the custom prefs
From Windows in safe mode should cut more no essential software and so may be worth trying.

If you have several versions of Firefox are installed, you would be better using a separate profile for each. There are of course risks related to the use of older versions, but you may need their search and I'm sure will have taken measures to mitigate the risks, but others take note of the

Beachballing MacPro3, 1, made this EtreCheck an overview
My MacPro3, 1 8 - core has been deterioration in the performance in recent weeks. He may have initially started with beach ball while in Safari, but has become ubiquitous in all applications. The machine seems to be concerned about another activity every minute or so. That is, the characters typed will not resonate. I already disabled all my connection objects in System Preferences. Well, I sometimes see launchd being active, so I suspect there may be other elements that are still running. I also noticed that with the FTPs I run frequently that connections are constantly delay. Note that I have my time down to 10 seconds. In these moments there Top Activity Monitor and rarely visible on more than two or three processes with 20% use so I think that it's probably not a problem to use CPU. I'm afraid it might be a hardware problem because the last time I had problems (even if it was a kernel panic) my graphics card has failed. I'm leaning toward doing a clean install of OS X, but thought I'd see if my output EtreCheck suggest another line of conduct. Thanks in advance for any guidance you might collectively be able to provide.

Equium L20-197 - Wi - Fi problems
I is currently experiencing major problems with connecting to the internet with my computer satellite phone. I have a BT Home Hub and for the last two weeks both my desktop or my laptop have experienced difficulties. They were both showing as being connected to internet but attempts to load the pages up led is no longer / connections delay or pages take up to 10 minutes to load.
A call to BT, which lasted 90 minutes settled the problem of PC (for now) - the wireless channel is increased from 6 to 9, but my problem laptop has not changed - and now it will connect is no longer automatically to the internet when I connect. In order to get it to connect, I have to go Control Panel, network connections, properties and then click on "Wireless Networks" - highlight the Home Hub and then click ok. This works regularly, but is yet to start my connection off every few minutes.
I also tried a system restore earlier, but he wouldn't let me not do it either.
BT has alleged the problem is with my laptop and not with them, but I refuse to believe this - I'm sure it's something to do with the hub.

Old device restarts when you receive an order
Hey,.
I have connected 4 devices on a GPIB to USB adapter. I can see all 4 of them to the interface and 3 of them work as it should (can send commands and obtain the expected answers).
The 4th one "Programmable Pulse current Source P4000 ' society 'faster' to restart every time that it get´s a command and therefore causes a connection delay. (Also it does not remotely due to recovery).
It shows the same problem, when it is the only device connected.
The current Source is about 20 years and the company no longer exists, as we do not have a manual for this source.
There are a few old devices, which require a special order to get remotely instead of restart? Or maybe this old damaged on the gpib interface device?

I solved the problem. It happens with every incorrect order and for this device also * IDN? is a wrong command, because she is older that these commands has been standardized. I had the chance of finding an old program that has been forgotten by members of the Institute, where some commands when used to talk to the device and with them it works fine.

How to install Photosmart B109n-z on a DHCP network wireless
I'm trying to install a HP Photosmart B109n-z on a wireless network.
There is no DHCP server on the network.
I can install and print using a USB cable.
When I try to reconfigure the display of the USB wireless I get a message that says printer
use the IP 169.254.95.189 which is not compatible with the address IP of the PC 10.1.9.1.
HP documentation * recommends * using a DHCP server. So I guess it's * possible * for
do without. But I have found no instruction to do so.

A BlackBerry has two different designs to consider:
(1) physical network connection
(2) selection of transport
The physical network connection is pretty self explainatory (wifi, bluetooth, GPRS, CDMA). The selection of Transport can better be seen as a VPN Tunnel/connection. Such transport may be BES, BIS, direct TCP, WAP etc gateway.
Even if you're on WiFi, you can still have your transport (VPN) connected through BIS. This is configured through your application settings.
The browser from on the BB6 uses special transportation (no available applications) who did essentially the equivalent of a DNS lookup and follows a logic to see how endpoint can be accessed. It will then forward through the transport that's going to happen to its endpoint.
So in the browser, it detects your IP address isn't public and a rebooking via the TCP/IP connection direct to go directly to your local server.
In a BlackBerry application, you must declare your list of transport order which I will try and failover to the other if it is not reachable on the first transport.

In your case, you would have to change the order of the TCP_WIFI put everything first. WARNING: Different transport have different failover times. B BIS and BES are instantly switched if they are not enabled with this service. TCP_WIFI will actually make a connection delay before switching. So if you don't have a WiFi connection, it will timeout on each request for a resource before it tries then BIS - B.

That this regression has been already corrected in the version 1.6.0_01 report has been 6494357.

I have a series of CFC methods that call each other (using cfinvoke) to determine the inventory of an item, and down to the lowest level of calls, I call Java Socket() on my ERP server to get the inventory in real time (and then this value is propagated to the top and used by the CFC calls to determine what message to display on our site. The question that I am trying to deal with is how graciously recognize when there is no response from the ERP server and give up less than 3 seconds. So ideally, I'd like to add some kind of time-out period for the method that makes shooting call itself, or the method that calls this method.
The socket class that I use has a connection delay internal seconds, although it doesn't really seem to follow that. If I have the point it at an illegal address, it seems to take a minute to drop and the timeout. If I do not trust this parameter, even if I wanted to recompile the class to receive the time-out as a parm. Here is the basic Java code used to create the socket connection:

Delay after connection - WXP & M200

When my M200 operates on batteries, most of the time that I connect the cold start system that I have to wait for about two minutes after the connection. Open the Task Manager learns that the CPU is idle, hard drive is not used, only some of the process loading. the system seems to just wait for something. Other programs that the task manager can not be opened.
At the time the delay occurs in the system section of the event log, the following error messages are recorded:
