Widget best quality on the landing... video YouTube?

Hi all: I can't get the youtube widget to load my video in better quality on the landing? When I preview the page in a browser it's horrible, but then I get to the bottom of the gear icon and choose a higher resolution and everything looks great. Vimeo widget lands with a higher resolution. Yes, I know the obvious answer is just to load to vimeo... but it's nonprofit project and I am doing with it! Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    The black lines are the result of a mistake in setting the original size video/video proportions. And these line are visible in the original YouTube videos... especially a problem in the image of "post" that appears before the beginning of the video. See here:

    The lines have nothing to with your video player on your page or you can correct it by changing your Web page... the lines are part of the video itself.

    To correct this problem, you must perform a new rendering of the original video file... NOT the Youtube file, but the original.

    If the player holds the original aspect ration (width to height), the video will be resized to fit the dimensions of the player... but if the player is not big enough or wide enough... the black bars appear... that aren't black bars but space empty that the video did not cover. Black bars on the sides of the clip mean that the size of the screen is not big enough. Black bars on the top/bottom, means that the screen is not wide enough.

    These black space "bar" can also be introduced during the editing process if the dimensions of the screen are not properly defined... which seems to be the case here video moose.

    I should be able to provide assistance on creating a new preset!

    Looking at the screenshot your provided it seams like you're very limited to the print settings.  I would recommend open TextEdit on the Mac computer.  TextEdit is located in the application folder.  The only reason why I recommend the use of text edit is just to create the new printer preset for optimal quality.  Once you have TextEdit open go to file and click on print.  You should get a preview window before printing.

    Please follow the steps:

    1. click on "Show details" if it does not say "hide details".

    2. choose "paper Type and quality.

    3. change the quality of 'best '.

    4. click on the drop down preset menu

    5. click on "Save current setting as a preset.

    6. type your name of preses (E.g. best quality)

    7. click on OK and reset your is now registered

    When you have finished creating the preset, you should be able to open your original print job and choose your new preset!

    There are YouTube presets in Adobe Media Encoder. Either make your comp AE directly with Adobe Media Encoder or return an intermediate file to AE and use it in Adobe Media Encoder. But whatever it is, use the presets for YouTube.

  • X120e degradation in the quality of the Image/video

    Hey guys, first post on the forums here.

    I recently made the switch from my old macbook to a Lenovo x120e (I was happy to try all the new developments of Lenovo/Microsoft ), and ran into an annoying problem.

    My laptop has been running great, and everything was great, except that the graphics have become worse when I bought my x120e two months ago first. I suspect that this could be a software problem, since it sort of has coincided with an update of the systems. I hope that it is not a hardware problem...

    If anyone else has had the same or similar problem, so I would be very happy if you could make light of the object.

    Maybe I have to be patient for all these features to be part of reflow, but my clients are demanding sensitive sites such as reflow creates... so I ask as soon as possible for the rest of the goodies. I'm not a coder, so wysiwyg approach, that's what I hope.

    At the present time, you cannot embed the video in a div in reflow and this isn't a top priority for us to include this point at the present time. But, observes your comments as you want, and we appreciate it. As customers give us your comments and common themes emerge, this is how we try to prioritize what to add to reflow.

    1 VI works, but in a funny way: most of the time I have to pass the "Create Template/model search" button twice in order to get thin VI work (there were only a few times I just need to click once on the button). What is the problem here and how to fix it?

    2. I understand that IMAQ game model works with RGB images. So is there anyway that I can always get pass images RGB by IMAQ learn boss, IMAQ Match, while the resulting 2 'Template' and 'Image' are always displayed in color mode.

    3. are there in any case I can still detect the object if the scale becomes a problem (I need to go far from approaching the object)? To resolve this problem, I need to use IMAQ matches geometric pattern, which I learn from somewhere in the forum it took much more time to match my result comparing IMAQ Match jacquard?

    I just created a video for my brother swim team. I'm looking for two the same scenes: the first exported, of the original source video. The quality of the exported video is not as good as the original video. IM wondering why this is happening and what I can do to solve this problem.

    It seems that you export to 4 k. Try a H.264 1080 p or 720 p preset instead.

    How to download Youtube via the Widgets Library/social/Youtube video, without Youtube automatically showing the videos suggested during my video ends?

    There is an option to uncheck if I copy and paste the video directly from field of Youtube.com Embed code. But unclicking this option on Youtube first doesn't seem to affect the download in the Widget of Muse, and I get the suggested videos I don't want on my site.

    I would also add that when I saw the youtube video page code copy and paste from youtube.com and integrated with my Muse page, the video was not included when I preview my site in an HTML browser.

    The embed code that you got YouTube does not with the 'file' Protocol, which is what your browser uses if you open a local file.

    The youtube embed code only works if you view your site via the http protocol, which is what the browser uses if you choose "Preview in browser" Muse, or if your site is hosted on a Web site online.

    If you really need your site to work on the Protocol of file for any reason, you can change the youtube embed code by adding a to the CBC link http protocol, as follows:

    One of the principle of goal setting is to "begin with the end in mind". In this case, it will be very difficult to give good recommendations because the end is not defined. So I'll just make a few assumptions and you can correct me if necessary.
    First, I'll assume that you convert Flash, whether you want to broadcast this video on the Internet. If that's true, then going to make some assumptions about your potential viewers Internet connection download speeds. Let's just say that most have at least a 1.5 MB connection or faster.
    OK, that would mean that a video bitrate of half that generally provide a video download that is not interupped by the buffering (most of the time anyway). So assuming a video bitrate of 750 kbps, what would be the optimal display size?
    Before decide us, here's a little info on the bitrate. To read more high quality, the bitrate of the video is directly related to the size of the screen. In other words, more display, incoming data more are needed to correctly display the video. Think of bitrate in terms of a can of paint. If you have 1 quart of paint, you might be able to do a very nice job on an area of 32 X 24 feet. But if you try to stretch the same amount of paint on a surface area of 64 X 48 feet, the coverage is not as good and you get mediocre results.
    Similarly, a video display to 640 X 480 pixels will require 4 times the baud rate as a video displayed at 320 X 240 pixels to produce the same quality. Thus, for example, a video with a speed of 100 kbps, 160 X 120 displayed will produce the same quality results as a video with a bitrate of 1600 kb/s is displayed in 640 X 480.
    So, to sum it all, 750 Kbps, even up to 1000 kbps video rates can usually get delivered high-speed Internet on most connections. Higher rates may work for connections very fast but will cause problems for viewers with slower connections. Video display size has a direct impact on the final quality. In the range of 750 to 1000 Kbps, display size should be maintained around 450 or 500 width max (and whatever the height proportions claims). Yes it can be displayed larger, but the quality will suffer.
    Sounds like the audio settings are fine, especially for delivery on the Internet.
    Regarding the framerate, maintain the framerate video original raw for best results. Therefore, if the clip was shot at 24 frames per second, let him.

    I tried to watch tutorial clips where people show how to make the best quality but still I can't understand... I don't really understand where im hurt!

    I would be grateful if we some1 out there that could help me to export in correct settings... I know that its not easy to help some1 with parameters by writing here you need to know what settings I have shot with what settings I'm using in my calendar and what im using to export... and so on.

    and when I export I tried to export in dozens of files to see which seems to be the best as H.264, HD 1080 p 29.97 or youtube HD 1080 p 29.97 and even I tried Mxf op1a avc intra class100 1080p25 p, which gives superb quality HD, when I play on computer but the files is almost 3, large 5 GB but I think that the greatest and the file is the best quality that I get!

    In any case when I upload the mxf file or any other file I exported to youtube, it gives a very bad quality once u put Full HD 1080 full screen... it's almost as if u play without HD...

    First of all, I would not try to export 50 fps to 29.97 FPS.  I would use 25 fps if I used something other than 50 frames per second.

    Secondly, there is no need to change your settings at all. YouTube said to download at the same rate as you shot.

    You will also notice that 8 Mbps is the 'standard' quality and you can go up to 50 MB/s for 1080 p. Then try to export through the same flow rate than your original recording. If it was 25 Mb/s then try it. So 50 MB/s go ahead and try this case you are still not satisfied at 25 Mb/s.

    Although, generally, I find that I'm happy at 15 Mb/s for video without much action, 25 MB/s for most of the video and for the sport, I use the 50 MB/s max.

    That said, I don't worry about the file size more. I have the disk space and a fast Internet connection. If either of those who are a problem for you, then you may need to adjust your expectations.

  • Can't play videos youtube in HD since the upgrade to 24.0 FF

    Hi, since I upgraded FF 23.0 to 24.0 FF, I am unable to change the video quality in Youtube in HD. The video plays on the low quality default setting, but if I change to 720 p or 1080 p, a black screen appears and it will not play. When I hover over the PlayBar at the bottom of the image, I see live still frames from the video.

    Things that I've done or determined so far:

    (1) the problem started with 24 FF. Who had the same addons before the problem started.

    (3) started Firefox in safe mode with all the addons disabled. Problem is still present.

    (2) open the same videos in Internet Explorer 10 and I am able to play the videos very well in any setting Hi-def available. So I think it means, it is not a Flash problem or computer problem.

    (3) update the flash of shock to the 11.9.900.117 (after stage 2) Version. The problem is still present.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I use Firefox for my browser. On Firefox, I used to Watch youtube videos, and I would like to have the quality video streaming, which Firefox usually allows me to have. But recently, every time I load a YouTube video and try to change the quality, no matter where I am in the video or how do I change the quality (by changing higher or lower quality has the same effect on the video), the video will go black, the sound stops and it is clear that the video is no longer running. I don't remember when it started, but it was not for maybe long, 1-3 months. If I do the YouTube Player widescreen and reload the page, the video will default to 480 p, but I still can not change in this position either. I tried to do this in Chrome and I can change the quality, but I can't be bothered using another browser just to play videos, and frankly, Chrome sucks. I don't know what caused it. I think this is related to the new layout of the YouTube video player.

    The behavior of the current YouTube media player seems different to me when changing the resolution.
    I now see an icon of rotation for a short period until the player has changed the resolution and has made sufficient buffer to switch to the new resolution.
    The change is barely noticeable for me.

    Try disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox.
