• How to make the banner graphic 100% width at the top of the page that handles the user resolution changes

  I have a banner which can be divided into three distinct elements.  I would like to make the following distribution:

  Left right 20%, average 20% and 60%

  HTML I just use a 100% width table and set widths of cell to this percentage of left to right.  How this is done in Flex?

  I have tried all kinds of configurations of ConstraintColumn, but it seems that I can't get two columns to work to say 60% - 40%, and not three as stated above.

  Is ConstraintColumn the right place to look here or is there a better approach?

• Wrong width for the imported graphics to frame 9

  Anyone else had problems with Framemaker detecting the wrong width when you import graphics?  For example, when I import a jpg of a button which must be 21 x 21 pixels, Framemaker displays the 24 PX width and height than 21px.  This translates into a broken graph.  If I adjust the dimensions of the chart in FrameMaker for the right size, then print the PDF, the right border of the image is disabled.

  I tried to capture the graph a variety of different ways, and I still feel the same results.  I can import the graphic into Captivate or Word and the sizing is correct.  Any ideas?  Thank you!

  I use FrameMaker version 9.0p237 as part of the Technical Communication Suite 2.

  I just tested this with a sample file dimensions 21 x 21, and you are perfectly right. FM9 live upwards the size (and default dpi resolution) for PNG and GIF files. I also tried BMP and TIF equivalents and they were ok. FM8 does not have this problem, it seems that Adobe has played with filters PNG and GIF a little (maybe to get rid of all the extra colors coming).

  For an import JPG or PNG to a 21 x 21 to 96 DPI, FM9 seems to think it is 24 x 21-110dpi. FM8 is good.

  For a GIF of the same import, FM9 think it's 22 x 21-75dpi. FM8 had right.

  Also, what is strange, is that if the dimensions are both even, for example 20 x 20 to 96 DPI, then FM9 gets it right of JPG, PNG and GIF. However, if the * first * dimension is odd, for example 21 x 20 it he gets hurt again as before, but if the second dimesion is odd, for example 20 x 21, it just gets it. VERY STRANGE!

  This is certainly a BUG.

  I suggest that you should use BMP or TIF for now OR try increasing your 1-pixel icons to make them the same size, for example 22 x 22.

  I also recommend that you do not use JPG for the latter, but the GIF or PNG, because you can produce unwanted artifacts in the JPG because of used lossy compression.

  OK, so I look at the relatively new chart of MIXED SIGNALS to fix things that don't work on the regular chart (more precisely, the weird cursor behavior).

  It seems I have a slider that spans four plots and reads an X 4 values of Y, that's what I want.

  But I need ladders on both sides.

  Here is the code I ended up with difficultytowork around this problem.

  Mixed-Signal graph has ANOTHER problem where he completely forgets your assignments whose plots go on the scales, but that's another story.

  In my case, I've already placed the scales on the sides left / right as needed.  It's just that the right bottpm scale, really, really wants to be off to the right.

  What I do here, it's fetching the LIMITS of PARCEL of land #0 (the top one).

  I'm only interested in the left-right axis, I don't have a problem vertically.

  Also, I extract the AREA of scale 0-WIDTH WIDE.

  I then adjust the YSCALE. LEFT property of the four scales, place them where I want.

  The two scales on the LEFT are the BOUNDARIES of the PARCEL. -LEFT (WIDTH + 1 ON THE SCALE)

  The two scales on the RIGHT are to DRAW the BOUNDARIES. RIGHT + 1

  The "+ 1" means there are a pixel between the scale graduation mark and the border of the chart itself. I think it's better.

  Just run the VI once to run this code, then turn off the code section and save the VI. (You do not need to run it again unless something changes, he seems to remember where it is supposed to be).

  Of course, if you resize the graphic, you will need to run the patch again.

  The banner HTML fills the entire width of the screen from v25. If you hover over the app in a generator, it should give you the required dimensions.

  Try without margin: 0 auto on the header.

  It seems that you want to center it?

  If this is the case, try with the headers and left in an envelope and Center the wrapper.

• Use the same graphical display of data from the different cases of event Structure

  Hello

  I would like one graph to view the input data and modified by one of the two cases of different event structure.  So if the event 1 is selected by the user, the data would be entered by the code contained in 1 case and then introduced in a waveform to display chart.  If the event case 2 is selected, similar data would enter the 2 cases but then displayed by the same graphic waveform , as in case 1.  I don't know if there is a way to do this... it seems that each case of the event would need its own array of waveform, but it becomes quickly heavy regarding the graphical interface for the multiple cases of event.

• How to update the switchable graphics drivers and Dungeon 'switching' work?

  Hi guys,.

  I recently installed the new drivers by AMD (v.13.1) on my laptop HP Pavilion dv6-3060ej (Windows 7 64-bit), which uses the Intel HD Graphics and AMD Radeon HD5650 switchable graphics.

  The fact is that I met a few rendering problems on the latest 12.6 which supported my graphics and allowed soft switching between them. Version 13.1 solved my problems of rendering, but another question - it simply does not recognize my graphics card so that it installs only some of its features and leave the Catalyst Control Center features so I can't pass my graphics cards. I even tried to leave the latest CCC, but it comes with an error message.

  To summarize, my strongest Radeon HD5650 graphics card works well but I cannot switch to the Intel's HD to save the life of the battery.

  Any thoughts? Thanks a lot for your help

  Hello IBINATOR.  I appreciate that you try to upgrade your Radeon (with drivers AMD) graphics while keeping the switchable graphics in a working state.  Is this correct?

  This is workaround only to your question and you must have the game, Steam client, installed.  The HP driver for your graphics card contains a driver for the card from AMD, the Intel card and switchable graphics framework.  You can then use the game client, steam (through a partnership with AMD), to update the part switchable graphics system AMD while keeping graphics intact.

  1. Remove your current AMD drivers using this utility and restart your laptop.
  2. Download the latest version of the drivers from HP.  Here is a link.
  3. Install the driver and reboot again.
  4. Follow the steps in this thread to use steam to update the graphics driver.
  5. Restart one last time and check if the problem is resolved.

  I hope someone is able to tell me if it is possible to activate the graphics controller embedded on the Acer Aspire M3970.
  When I bought the pc, there was already an external graphics card in one of the slots. It contains only a HDMI and a DVI port, and the integrated graphics card has the possibility to use a HDMI and VGA port.
  I was wondering if it is possible to use both the external graphics card and the integrated graphic card so I can use 2 HDMI ports, the VGA port and DVI port.

  I know that most of the BIOS have an option to choose between what graphics card to use, but I can't seem to find it.

  As far as I know, you cannot use the graphics card and the edge together. You can buy a card with 2 HDMI or VGA and DVI ports.

• Product number: XW898AV: sp54471 - does not meet the minimum requirements (trying to recover the switchable graphics)

  I accidentally lost my switchable graphic trying to update using drivers directly from AMD.  I have no more restore HP Manager.  I tried to download HP sp54471.exe, but every time I try to install it, it says that I do not meet the minimum requirements.  I tried to use the Help Assistant tool as well, but it also gives the same error.  When you try to use only the tool to search for updates, it does not include anything for the graphics.

  You will never be able to update the switchable graphics driver, so after getting things working again with this driver, you will need to leave well enough alone.
