WIFI on Satellite A305 S6825 problem

I'm in the United States.
#1-I bought Toshiba laptop, a month or two ago with Vista Premium SP1.
A day ago when I turned on the laptop, I got a notice to the effect: Windows Wireless Lan 802.11 Extensibility infrastructure ceased to operate.

-> Are looking for a solution later (recommended) the next time that you start the system
-> Closed

Those who were only two choices. I think I clicked on the first "search for a solution later.
When I turned on laptop today, I got the same message. Anyone know what could be wrong with this new laptop?
I use the wireless to enter IE7 and type your message. I was able to get online both times.
My husband and I are elderly and not too familiar with computers or computer language so if anyone has an answer, please make it simple enough for us to understand. We hope that this new laptop is not already broken. We cannot afford to buy another computer or have it repaired.
Can someone please help?
Thank you very much.
Alice

(We have the DSL cable attached to our desktop (modem/router) and use this Toshiba laptop with modem/router of this office to get online (don't know if that is the correct terminology that someone else connected DSL, etc.).)
#2 I tried to connect to the MS Vista Help page and they had me Insert Product Key #. (since the Device Manager, I think) and each time I was told that they did not recognize the PID. What's not here?

Please advice.

Hello

I assume that you got this message; + Windows Wireless Lan 802.11 Extensibility Framework stopped working + but you are still able to connect to the internet via WLan and LAN.
Am I wrong?

Well, as far as I know the Managed Extensibility Framework (MEF) provides developers a tool to easily add extensibility to their applications.
He said simply s a Microsoft tool designed for software developers.

I put really know why this message is displayed when starting, but I put t think that it s a serious question.
In your case, I recommend the Vista update to the last State. I recommend also using the free tool called CCLeaner to clean the registry.

Best regards

I bought the Toshiba A305 S6825 with Vista Home Premium in recent weeks and have a few questions, I hope someone can answer.

#1-I am only using the Toshiba and wonder why I keep getting this permission UAC to pop up. Is this something that everyone? Can I turn off no problem cause (security)? (I asked this question before, but still puzzled as to the is should or should not allow the UAC.)

#2-I don't want the Defender made auto update. How can I do a manual update for Defender?

#3-Pourquoi is so low when its DVD playback? I have the sound at 100%! Or is it something that everybody knows?

#4-I watched updates for Windows and two in the update/download option appeared. What I have to download them? They (and other optional updates/downloads) will keep appearing?

#5-I recorded last week and wonder if there is anywhere online, I can tell if I'm registered? Also, how can I find my customer account number? I (believe if you have a Technical Support question, you must enter your account/customer number).

    Thank you.

    (1) there is a new feature in Vista. For more information, please see the Microsoft Vista website

    (2) do you mean the Microsoft Windows Defender?
    If so, check this:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/support/howto/default.mspx

    (3) check if all volume controllers would be max. You can find this in Control Panel-> sound control

    (4) Windows updates are always recommended because they fix the bug and the security of the OS lacks

    (5) where do you register this laptop? As far as I know it is a portable American and cannot be registered on the Toshiba European pages.

I did not know what customer number (I think it seems to be Toshiba repair stations, etc.), I entered my SN.
    Did not work.

Does anyone know how to get back in my "Updates to the Support Manager" page?
    It's all very, very confusing.

I think that it doesn't work because you put false information in you case it was probably a wrong customer number!

I think that you have received the customer number sort the audit of registration this

It is possible that it is half an hour in line, and then you fly from the Internet, with the other laptop stays on the line is always online. Previously, as old as windows, it was not the problem.
    We took a Realtek driver.

PS: We have the DSL cable attached to our desktop (modem/router) and use this Toshiba laptop with modem/router of this office to get online (don't know if that is the correct terminology that someone else connected DSL, etc.).

    Hello Bob

I agree with Kody and I think also there is a software problem or the WIFI network is not properly enabled. I use the European model of laptop, but I don't think that there is some difference of laptop models to the United States.

If you want to use the WLAN, it must be enabled correctly. At first make sure that the WLAN switch is placed in position ON. The WLAN led should be on. After doing this using FN + F8 key combination to activate the wireless network card. When you press the FN key and keep down. Maps flash in high must be indicated. Always keep the button FN, but press F8 and select Wi - Fi ON.

So now the wireless network card must be activated, and you should also be able to connect to your WLAN.
If the problem persists, you can try to roll back the OS to an earlier time (when the network WIFI works well). To do this, you must start System Restore tool. Choose different restore point and to the next day when you think about the WIFI worked well.

Sorry, but for now I have a better idea because I don't want to confuse you more than necessary.

Have a good day and I hope that WIFI works well again.

Is the following must be done every time we turn on the Toshiba laptop (VistaPremium) and go to YouTube?

"Try to adjust this setting of Flash Player. During playback of the video, right-click on it and click settings. Clear the check box to enable hardware acceleration.

Also, when we do the above to watch the YouTube video in full screen, we notice that there are about a margin of 1 inch (black) on the left and right of the video. In our office (WinXPsp2) when we watched YouTube videos, they played automatically in full screen (without black margins on the sides).

    Hi guys

    I have a solution!

So, what's the problem? It s very simply. It s only a wrong setting in flash player options

Please right click on the video your streaming using flash player.
Click settings, and then under display settings, disable hardware acceleration of option use.

I'd appreciate some feedback from you!

  • I received a notice by email about available updates - Sat A305-S6825

I got the e-mail from "Toshiba", but don't know what it means.

    It reads:

"Your support subscriptions updates on the Web from Toshiba site has been updated. "If you want to manage your updates to support in the future, you can use the link below:

The "link below" they mention me takes just a site where I connect and then I show the model of my Toshiba A305-S6825. It does show me not all subscriptions, etc.

Where would I go to see these updates to the subscription? I have connected to my Toshiba page, but I see nothing on subscriptions, etc.

    Everything is very confused.

(Or could it be advising me that there are updates of my thread on this Forum site?) "I don't think because she seems to be a different URL.)

As I see you have a Satellite A305-S6825 laptop and as far as I know it's a series of portable US.
Therefore, it seems that this email notification belongs to the Toshiba USA.

    I checked this [area Satellite A305-S6825 | http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_modelLanding.jsp?ProductMenu_0=Portables&Pro ductMenu_1 = Satellite & model_find = A305-S6825 & ProductMenu_2 = 1998602 & me = 1998602 & rpn = U PSAG0 & smoid = true & ct = MH & ListType = model & x = 23 & y = 13] on the Toshiba us page and found a few new driver updates.

I think that you have received this mail because of a new versions of driver and tools available and therefore the support subscription has been updated.

  • Connection problems Hotmail account on Satellite A305-S6909

I experienced a problem connecting to Hotmail using IE8 on my Toshiba laptop. I posted this problem for Windows Live and my anti-virus. The two parties have not solved the problem after 2 months. The issue started around November 20, 2009. I think it may be related to a security upgrade or CrashFree upgrade.

Information on the basis of the problem:

When you sign in on Hotmail on IE8, I firstly have a message that my password is incorrect. If I try to log in again, I get the login screen (no message). If I choose the enhanced security Option, my browser allows to browse several blank screens before expiring. The site of hotmail then sends a message that the site is down, etc. Also, I can connect in the rest of the Windows Live, including MSN.com. When I connect to MSN.com, I can see the sidebar that shows the last 5 emails on my hotmail account. I just can't access these emails. I have no problem with any other website.

Where this problem does not -

    1. this problem does not exist when you use FireFox.
    2. in Safe Mode with networking, this problem does not occur on IE8.

    Attempts at a solution-

    1. I worked with my anti-virus software tech support to confirm that hotmail is not blocked by the firewall. I have confirmed that it is not a virus affecting the program.
    2. with the Windows Live team, I went through the entire process of clearing cache, flushing the dns, restoration... I reloaded even IE8 on my system.
3 Windows Live suggested that I use Fiddler Cap in order to acquire more information. This program generates an error when I try to run it. However, it works when I run it in Mode without failure.

    Laptop: Toshiba Satellite A305-S6909
    OS: Vista 64-bit
    Browser: Internet Explorer 8 (32-bit)

    Hello

I don t use Hotmail but it is really strange. In my opinion, it has something to do with the settings of Internet Explorer, because everything does work with Firefox. Theoretically, this means that nothing is blocking your connection and AntiVirus/firewall doesn't block these connections in Hotmail.

In the Internet Explorer options, you have different areas, like trusted sites, restricted sites, etc.. In your case, I would like to add MSN page you need to trusted sites.
In addition block you / allow Cookies of some Web pages. Make sure that Cookies are not blocked.

All that s what I can tell and the time and I hope that I could help you! :)
